Hello friends of the Italian language, for years now on this channel I've been talking to you about the Italian language
and how to improve the Italian language.
Today, however, I want to talk to you about things not to do when studying the Italian language
and I will take this opportunity to explain to you some ways of saying the Italian language
connected to these concepts.
Before starting, I remind you that if you are studying the Italian language, you are on the right channel.
Congratulations!
Big, big applause!
I remind you that if you want, you can subscribe for free and activate the bell
in such a way as to receive updates on the next videos
and if you want, in the description you will find the link to subscribe for free to the newsletter that I send every week.
In this newsletter I send additional resources related to the Italian language
and in addition I explain topics that are not strictly necessary
but that in my opinion are extremely interesting.
The first thing not to do when studying the Italian language is to be in a hurry.
In fact, those who go slowly go healthy and far.
Being in a hurry is something that almost never helps in any process,
especially in the learning process of a language.
It may be that an exam is approaching and you are preparing an exam for Italian.
In this case, it may be useful to increase the time you dedicate to a lesson
or the time you dedicate to studying the Italian language
but in general, being in a hurry to study and being in a hurry to be fluent in the Italian language
is something that does not help to learn the Italian language.
So I advise you to go slowly.
The second thing not to do when studying the Italian language is to stop.
Who stops is lost.
This is a valid concept not only for the study of the Italian language
but more generally for the study of languages
but also for the study of other topics.
We often feel very good at something
but as soon as we stop that thing
for example playing a musical instrument
it seems to us that we have forgotten how to do it
especially if we stop for long periods, for example two or three weeks.
This is why I always advise to study at least 10-15 minutes every day
and thus avoid a pause, thus avoid a stop from the Italian language
a stop from the learning of the language
because then returning to the level we had reached previously
is something not only frustrating
but it is also something very difficult
to be able to understand what are the topics to review
and instead what are the topics we are masters of
the topics that we still know and therefore have not forgotten.
The third thing not to do is to study in a boring way
and in fact those who do not have fun do not learn.
You need a lot, not only to learn the words, the grammatical rules
the ways of saying, the Italian culture
but you also need to learn topics that are of your interest
topics that you like, something that is fun but that is also exciting.
So you have to like it, you have to have fun.
When I study a language I am always there that I want to understand the sentence or understand the word
or I want to see a new video that explains that topic
or I want to read a book or I want to read an article
or I want to listen to some music in that language
So a series of things that continue to fascinate us
a series of things that continue to please us
and that continue to keep us connected with the study of that language.
And now I want to ask myself a question
what is the instrument you use most often to study the Italian language?
Do you like to watch videos more or listen to Italian music?
Or read some posts in Italian?
Write it to me in the comments.
As always, I thank you for watching the video
and I thank those who support me financially on Patreon and Ko-fi
and I wish you a splendid weekend
and see you in the next video.
Bye!
