Hello. Here are the morning highlights of the opening round of the AIG Women's Open at the home of golf, St. Andrews.
The 2007 champion, I.K. Kim, had the honour of getting us underway in blustery conditions.
After making a birdie on her first hole, the 2018 AIG Women's Open champion, Georgia Hall, found herself in the green side bunker on 11, hitting an up and down to save par.
It was a great start for Rooning Yin, who birdied two of her first four holes.
After bogeying 16, the 2023 Women's PGA Championship winner found the left gruff on the 17th.
The first victim of the road hole this week was Hinako Shibuno, leaving the smiling Cinderella with more of a grimace.
A great effort from off the green, but the 2019 champion ended up with a triple bogey seven.
It was time for Rooning Yin to putt for birdie, which was converted as she moved back to two under.
Yin's tee shot on the 18th continued the momentum.
Yin almost holed out for eagle and left a short birdie putt, which dropped to move Yin into the lead at three under par.
After making bogey on 13, two-time major winner, Minji Lee, found the green side bunker on 14, needing an up and down for birdie.
A great shot left a short putt for birdie, lifting the Australian back to level par.
This is the last major of Lexi Thompson's career, as the American looks to bow out in style.
She started slow with a bogey on 11, but had this monster putt on 15 to make birdie.
She drains it. What a putt by the American, and she is back to level par.
Going back to 18 and Minji Lee on the green, with a birdie chance to move into the red.
It was a very steady start by Rose Zhang, despite the tough conditions.
She played the road hole well and this putt for birdie.
The American kept the run going and found herself on the 18th green with another chance for birdie.
She makes it and moves to two under.
Teeing off at the first, playing her back nine, Georgia Hall currently sits at two over.
The Brit is on the green with a birdie chance.
She makes it. A timely putt on a tough hole.
