Part 1: Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene Explains Her No Vote on Speaker Pelosi's Extreme Rules Package
Hey everyone, this is Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene. We are getting ready to get
started on day two, January 4th, and I want to run you through the rules that Nancy Pelosi
and the Democrats are wanting us to vote on this morning. I just want to remind you that yesterday
Nancy Pelosi got the smallest majority amount of votes for speaker in a very, very long time. She
got 217 votes. Kevin McCarthy got 209. Nancy Pelosi, so desperate for her votes, created a
COVID box right in there where we were voting for speakers so that COVID-19 positive members
could come in and vote for her as speaker. Well, she also basically sold her soul and negotiated
a bunch of gender woke and extreme socialist controls, communist controls into our rules

his family, his staff, everyone, and this is appalling. We're going to be voting no against
that. The next thing they're going to do is they're going to take away Republicans' rights
to eliminate, basically by eliminating the motion to recommit, so that's going to take away
Republicans' rights to push back on bills. They're just going to try to force it through.
One of the most dangerous things they're doing is they want free reign to use reconciliation
to pass their hardline socialist agenda items like the Green New Deal, Medicare for All,
and many other big government socialist programs that the Democrats want,
and we know Republicans and most Americans do not want to be a socialist country.
They're going to do that by bypassing the budget tools, basically by
