Hey, I just heard from the track guy, Loren, the starting line is muddy.
But, it's supposed to rain this weekend, so that's what we want.
It's not what I want though.
Trash the bikes to start the day.
Who's complaining? Not me!
Little bit dry out there. Need some water.
Hey, you had the shovel. I'm standing there with a mud scraper in my hand.
I'm trying to walk across the muddy track, he's shoveling it off just behind me.
Alright.
So, we had a good day here at the farm.
Got some testing done.
We're always trying to advance a little bit, because Hayden's speeds keep getting more and more.
So, we've got to keep up with that.
And, then heading over to SDF, go do some riding there.
It's always fun to go play a ride at SDF.
There's a bunch of different things to do.
And, anyhow, stay tuned.
See you guys at the races.
Takeoff's so flat, I'm trying to find a steeper line that's a little more fun.
Woo!
I thought I was just going to OJ this thing.
I almost came up short.
Just a little cross jump.
Just trying to have fun.
Finding little cross hits.
This is all we used to do back in the 90s.
Go out in the Beaumont Hills or Ritchie Canyon and find these cliff jumps and little cross jumps.
Just play a ride.
That's what made moto fun, dude.
It's crazy, man.
Because I even see days like today.
I had a fun ride, but I could tell Hayden was not flowing with the track.
Still a little tired from the weekend.
I'm like, days like that kind of make you hate riding.
And that's not how it's supposed to be.
It's supposed to be fun.
Yeah, you're going to have difficult days.
But, you know, you've got to be smart and make sure you're always putting yourself in a good spot.
And if you're tired and not up to the task, you've got to rest, man.
You don't forget how to ride a dirt bike, man.
That's one thing I'm going to always stand for.
Do my best to try to keep it fun and try to keep it where it's not beating your head into the dirt.
You know?
Okay, so that's a wrap here today at STF.
We got to ride a little moto.
Get in a little Can-Am action.
I actually ran out of gas.
It's kind of funny.
I was talking about that earlier.
I swear that thing was full.
I must have ran it out of gas last time and not filled it up.
Stop by the gas station on the way home, top it off, and we'll be good to go, man.
This thing's been my old trusty X3, this Can-Am.
This thing's been awesome.
Always just starts, runs perfect.
It's fun.
The dirt oval track here is really good.
It's good practice.
It's always a good time doing that.
Alright, survive the day, and I'll see you guys next time.
Later.
