Stupid Arthur here. So I'm here with another video and I want to show you the biggest differences
with my 2023 Bear Grizzly model and my, which I believe to be a 69 model. So the tips
are definitely different. The newer ones have more pointier tips. The old ones have more round or
more like a cube shaped tip. And the new ones are really
pointy. Both can shoot on the Dacron string because of the only single piece of white
glass which is protecting the tip. The grips are chunkier on the new one. Definitely chunkier than
the old one. They are quite smaller and amount of glass on the old one is quite smaller because of
the smaller width. The new one has definitely more meat on it. This is a 90 years of Bear Archery
version. Same in a green glass. They're both in a green glass. White tips. Probably wood is different
in the middle. Medallions are, there is a brass looking medallion on a 2023 model. On a 69 model
is silver looking medallion. And the biggest difference is, which is quite surprising to
me because I thought that all of the bears are 58 inches. The new one is 58 inches and that one
which I believe to be the 1969 is 56 inches. I don't know why I thought that all of them are
58 inches. So write in the comments if you know something about it. I would need to help
some help with the dating of this ball. I believe I dated it correctly but if you know more about it
it has a stamp from Canada 1953 for the patent. I guess that was a glass patent. And it has here
and this stamp was still 72 I guess on the balls. So and here is number 9. It says 9R.
So I believe that would be then, cannot be 79. It needs to be 69 model. Silver medallion 56 inches.
If you know something about it I will put here in the video the pictures now. And please help me
to date this ball correctly or tell me if I did date it correctly myself. I will be restoring
this little ball. It has many many many problems. It has a quite bad limb twist and yeah I will be
restoring this ball just for fun to have a little homage, a little piece of history.
Just because I love bear hunting recurves and Fredbear. I'm a big fan of Fredbear for all of
you who don't know. So I will be restoring, making a video about it. So stay tuned
and shoot straight. See you in the next one.
