My flower beds are still far from perfect, I still transplant something, change places, plant new plants. In many ways, this is because at the beginning I made a lot of mistakes, as I think many of us too. In my garden, old fruit trees are already growing, and there is not so much free space for flowers, but I think this is not a problem, such plots can also be beautifully played around, combine trees and decorative plants so that everything looks harmonious, this will be my video. I will also give you some simple tips on how to start creating a flower bed from scratch, so that there is no disappointment and so that the garden pleases you every day. And this is what my do looks like, this is an old plum tree, and under it I did not plant anything before, but I did not like everything. So, now there is a conica tree, a periscope, 3 asoka bushes, and the background is a peony and an orange chamomile, the rest is weeds. I will transplant the asoka, before that it is better to cut it, since it fell apart after the rain and the wind, and still does not have a view. The very first thing to start with when creating a flower bed is to choose a suitable place for it. It is important to understand what the conditions are there, the sun is there all day, or only in the morning or in the evening, or all day. Pay attention to whether there are drafts or dampness, for example, whether water from the roof can flow there during the rain. It is important to know this in order to then choose such plants that are suitable for these conditions. I will make a flower bed under a tree, there is a half-shadow, the sun is only a couple of hours a day, and there is little moisture, because the tree takes water with its roots, and in the summer rain almost does not get here. The next step is to decide on the size and shape of the flowerbed, it can be round, oval, square, along the fence, or with uneven, free outlines, especially if you want to make a flowerbed in a natural style. This is what I did, I cut the branches and dug out all the narcissus that did not bloom from here, these are very small bulbs, I myself do not know why I planted them here, I thought that they would bloom, but they need a few more years, so they will grow outside the house, and then move to the flowerbed. And when the place here is free, then I like it even more, I very much advise you to somehow mark the boundaries of the flowerbed, you can use a border tape, stones, or what you like best. When you do this, the picture will immediately become more understandable, you will see where your future flowerbed begins and how it fits into the garden. I have a flowerbed separated by a border tape, it is very convenient and it is almost invisible in the grass, then you need to clean the site well, remove all the weeds and dig the ground so that it becomes loose, this is a very important step. Believe me, it will be a shame if in a couple of weeks, in the very middle of your flowerbed, a dandelion or a feather will grow again, only because you did not have time to choose the roots of the weeds, I have done this many times. During this work, you will probably notice what kind of soil you have, clay, sandstone, ebony or a mixture of stones and construction waste, yes, it happens and so, I had almost the entire site. This is important, because not all plants feel equally good on different soils. I have clay in a mixture with ebony, it keeps moisture for a long time, but if it dries out, it becomes hard like a stone, despite this, most of my plants feel good in it, the main thing is not to let the soil dry out in the summer. Now, just such a situation, although there were rains, the soil under the tree remained very dry, I also decided to immediately add fertilization in the granules, it will work for about 2 years and will help me save time and energy in the future. I highly recommend planting more plants with white flowers in a shady garden, it looks very elegant, bright flowers look more beautiful in the sun, and blue and purple create a feeling of calmness and coolness. I decided to transplant the hosts from here, they are burning here in the sun, and I will redo it here, it is not clear what is happening under the cherry tree, in general, I will take the hosts from here. I will show you the intermediate result, I planted the hosts and the osoka, and between them will grow astraocenia, these two bumps are the same, this is astraocenia. Now I want to finish it all and plant something soil-covering here on the corner, for example, like here on this corner, the acorn grows, it hides the corner, makes it more rounded, and such moments in the garden look more harmonious. Look who came to us, this is a hedgehog, how big he is, how beautiful he is, wow. At first I thought it was my cat running, but it's not a cat at all, it's a hedgehog. It was just the delight of a person who saw a real hedgehog for the first time in his life, because he lived all his life in the industrial zone of a big city. From the narcissus that I dug out, I choose larger bulbs and I will plant them under the tree, but not in such large groups, and so that the leaves of the host cover them. Look, friends, what I want to tell you, I mulched this planting, not with a cowhide, as I usually did lately, but with a coniferous pad from the forest, so it looks more natural and natural, because a tree grows here, I planted hosts under it. These are all plants that are more suitable for the natural style, it was this corner that I decided to do, and it seems to me that if I poured a bright bark here, it would look unnatural, and so it looks very natural.
