CR Flamengo vs Espérance de Tunisie Highlights | FIFA Club World Cup 2025

Welcome to Philadelphia. We start with two clubs aiming to challenge the perceived wisdom of European supremacy. Flamengo from Brazil, Esperance from Tunisia. It's South America versus Africa. It's a fat one and it was very well met by Ortiz and Varela. Looks as though he might have been offside but there's no decision as yet. Oh, it's Araskayeta, the man of the moment. Georgianne de Araskayeta, 31 years old. Nobody picks him up. Back of the net, Flamengo lead 1-0. Well, they're going to make it. Oh, they haven't made it 2-0. It was a scuffed effort by Pedro after good work from Ayrton Lucas and then a follow-up again. He's the player who's come close. Pedro dragged the second shot wide. This was the real opening and how he didn't turn that in, only he knows. A break on here and this time the goalkeeper has to make the save. Bella Ili charging forward again and now a chance for number two and that is a brilliant goal from Luis Araujo. Switch to the right-hand side and that's a special moment for Flamengo and the goalscorer himself. It's over and Flamengo have started in decent fashion. They've seen off Esperance from Tunisia by two goals to nil.
