Good morning, guys. Welcome back to a
new vlog. We are so excited to be
introducing our baby, our new baby to
you. It is He was just born yesterday,
and we, if you're a parent, you know the
feeling of when your child is born, that
first hour, that first day. He's not
even a day old yet. I just wanted to
intro this video. I I don't know how
much we're filming over the next few
days, but we do want to introduce you to
our new baby. I actually came home for a
few hours, got a little bit of sleep,
showered, refreshed. So, I'm heading
back to see Lucy and the baby right now,
but just wanted to hit record on the
camera just to capture myself for
looking back on in the future
of our second child is here. Just that
that feeling, I cannot describe it. The
so many emotions. He's just incredible.
So excited. Family of four. My voice
sounds weird today. I don't know what's
going on. I don't feel ill, but we were
talking so so much yesterday. I think
it's just that. But welcome to this
very, very special
[Music]
video. What if the world had more of
your
smile? What if the wind could spread
your
love? What if your sweetness could reach
everyone? There being no wars.
Maybe.
It's been a bit of a crazy day, but
quite relaxed actually, considering
we've been in hospital all day. But
we're about to go
home with our new
edition. And um yeah, I feel like I've
got so much to catch you up on because
we've just been soaking everything up
today. But we want to talk about the
baby's gender with you because that was
a very fun surprise during the birth.
And I also feel like I need to look a
birth rundown because yeah, it's all
just went super fast yesterday. So yeah,
it's now the next day. We've just got a
lot to say, a lot to catch up on. I
planned to chat about it today, but it's
just been it's actually just been quite
a nice relaxed day.
So here he is. You said it. Oh,
we just said off camera. Say it like
together. It's a just before we hit
record. Thought you just went a That's
how we do it. That's so funny. We just
said before we hit record on this clip,
we're like, "Okay, shall we shall we
reveal the gender? Should we say who's a
boy?" I'm like, "Well, here he is. Here
he is. That'll do. Here is a box. We
have had a boy. We have had a boy."
Amazing. Koda. He's so He'll He wanted a
boy. He wanted a brother so bad. The
Mufasa movie song. I always wanted a
brother. Yeah. He nonstop. Yeah. So,
here he is. Here he is. Little Squid.
Here he is. It's so amazing having a
tiny baby again. He smells great. He I I
remember how to pick them up again. Like
when I first when I first had him, I was
like, "What do you do?" Like with the
head and like it takes you like a good
few hours to get back into it, but now
handling a newborn baby a day old or
less than a day old is just Yeah. It's
next level. So COD is so like just
climbing all over our backs now and
whatever, but how delicate they are. And
good news, we are actually heading home
right now. We've just packed up the
room. So, I don't know how many of you
watching this were around when Koda was
born, watching the channel. Um, we
filmed a similar video when he was born
and we were in hospital. Lucy and Koda
were in hospital for 5 days, which was
not nice. It was co times. I could only,
well, it was postco, but there was still
all these rules in place. I could only
come to the hospital for very limited
hours. So, very, very quick recap on
today since he was born. He Thanks for
that, George. Hilarious. I was going to
say, let's do it again, but it's quite
funny that you just did it and it's
done. I know what you look really
regretful in your eyes. I'm not
regretful by anything. Is that the word
regretful? Um, anyway, so he was born on
the 14th of May,
2025 at 1719, 519 in the afternoon. Uh,
and if you remember yesterday, I think
the last clip we filmed during the birth
vlog, it was like 1 1:00 or something,
and I was like, "Oh, yeah. So, I'm
getting some contractions. They're not
too bad." Went on the drip. Things
escalated very quickly. very quickly and
I suddenly went from being in control to
feeling like not good because I have I
had gas in air, some paracetamol,
brilliant, basically pointless and a
TENS machine which again I didn't really
get on with. The gas has made me feel a
bit lightheaded, a bit drunk, but it
didn't actually take any pain away for
me. So basically I was like, "No, I
really want the epidural cuz I'm not I
can't relax. I'm not enjoying myself.
How's my body ever going to like
naturally like relax to get this baby
out if I'm like cuz I I was not coping
well? I'd gotten a lot further than I
had with KOD without anything. But I got
to the point where I said and I said I
had finished a contraction. I went right
epidural please. I'm ready. So they went
off to get the doctor the the
aniththetist or is it an antheologist?
No, it's an anthesist. The anemy. Um and
they came in while I was in what you
would call the transitional stage of
labor. If you know, you know it's like
when you basically think you can't do
it. It's basically the part where you
feel like you can't do it do it anymore
and you're sort of like you feel stuck.
You like you want to turn back but you
can't. You feel trapped. It's it's
horrible feeling. So yeah, I'm on my par
tomorrow feeling horrendous. About to
have the epidural and the contractions
start coming and coming so fast. I start
feeling this need to push which I was
like how can I? I've only just been 2 cm
a couple of hours ago. There's no way
I'm fully dilated ready to push. But
then the midwife was like, "Okay, can
you just let me move you here slightly
cuz you are sitting on the baby's head
slightly?" And I was like, "Sorry, like
hang on, what?" And it totally changed
my mindset because I was thinking, "This
is really bad. I can't keep doing this
for hours and hours." But the fact that
then I suddenly was at the pushing part.
I was like, "Right, okay. So, I'm not
having epidural then. That's that's too
late." We were out the window for that.
I asked for it 10 minutes too late,
basically. Yeah. Um, it was such a short
time. Speaking of windows, we got a
lovely view here. Yeah. Um, and then we
ended up I ended up pushing for like 20
minutes. Horrendous. Awful. Worst 20
minutes ever because obviously no pain
relief. You feel absolutely everything.
It was like it was like an out of body
experience. Like looking back, I can't
believe I went through that 24 hours
ago. It was insane. And when we tell you
how big he is, you might also have some
sympathy for me because he's not a tiny
baby. The placenta was massive as well.
Apparently weighty. Yeah. Why are you
lying on me? because I'm just like in
awe of what you did yesterday. Thank
you. I actually was what I witnessed.
You do wasn't the plan. No. So, shout
out to Don't shout me out. Didn't say
that. Shout out. Just so so proud. So,
so like blown away. Like it was mental,
wasn't it? Basically glad I never have
to do that. I don't have the option to
do that. Yeah. Um just I mean I'd prefer
not to do that. Whatever you want me to
do for the rest of our lives, just tell
me. You owe me. I think I'm doing I do.
I do. So, he
weighs 9 lb 8 oz, which for anyone in
kilog watching is like 4.36 or
something. Um, chunk. He already looks
to me like he's about a month old. Like
he's I mean he's small compared to Koda,
obviously. Like this is a big baby. This
is a chunky boy. He is. I love that
position you get into. So, the newborn
scrunchy. So cute. Um, yeah. So, that
was a very quick rundown of the birth.
Then I ended up needing stitches. had a
second degree tear which we love. So
yeah, I'm actually feeling okay. And
because I didn't have It's all right. It
doesn't need to be of me. It was about
him anyway. Um because I didn't have the
epidural like last time. So I get up and
walk around straight away afterwards.
But the sensation of standing up after
having had such a big bump with a big
baby, a big placenta, and just being so
heavy for 9 months. Suddenly it like all
my organs were like really low and I I
couldn't sit up for ages. It was a
really odd feeling standing up again
straight after giving birth cuz I
literally was stood up like 10 minutes
later. It was mad. But yeah, wasn't the
plan. But I'm actually really pleased it
worked out that way cuz I've always
wondered what it feels like to actually
feel that a baby coming out of you
because last time I obviously had the
epidural, I still felt a sensation, but
it wasn't anywhere near that level of
like when his head came out, I was like
a sense of relief. And then when I felt
the whole body come out, I was like like
I can't even tell you how good it felt
really. The relief. Yeah. Like not not
in not in a good way of like less pain.
It was more just like it's over. Yeah.
Yeah. and I can just like relax and then
the present had to come up. But um yeah,
it was mental. It was like crazy out of
body experience. Yeah. So that's a basic
rundown. I was going to go for that home
tomorrow, but we've said it all now.
There we go. Probably repeat ourselves
for the next 3 weeks. Yeah. Doctor
checks. All good. Had a few checks
today. Um Oh, he had a tongue tie and
they they cut it. Oh, bless it. It's
horrible. You weren't there, were you?
No. Um it was a quick little snip
basically and apparently I don't know,
it's a bit stingy for them, but
apparently adults have had it and they
say it's just a slight sting. It's not
like surgery where he's awake. It's just
like a but hopefully that's going to
help with the feeding. And yeah, I think
we'll probably carry this vlog on
tomorrow. We're going to get home now.
Get him in our house. Take him home to
his brother. Home. Yeah.
Kod is actually with my parents for a
second night. Look at my hair. I know. I
was wondering. It's quite humid. Oh my
goodness. You look like you're in a
tropical country, but you're in wedding.
I do. I do. Yeah. Cody's with my parents
for his second night, which he was very
excited about. Like, what? another
sleepover. It's just too late now. Like
it's half 7. It's half 7. We're not
going to be home till well, we got to do
this at half 8. Yeah. And then we'll be
up all night with obviously. So just
having that Don't say his name. Oh yeah.
You have to bleep that out. I have to
bleep that out. George, are you all
right? I think George acted like he's
the one that's had no sleep. George went
home last night and I stayed here on my
own. Yeah. And we agreed that. No, you
suggested it and gave It felt a little
bit like I didn't have a choice. Loose.
Little bit. No, you were like, you like
I will be there tomorrow doing
everything. But I would have had to
sleep or sit in that chair. I had 1 hour
sleep cuz I had to do it all on my own.
Oh,
I mean, no. No, cuz I'm going to just
get so many hate comments now. I get it.
But also, you didn't come in until like
9:00. Loose. You didn't. I was doing so
much. I was I was making you coffee. I
was getting coffee was actually ranked.
I actually made it so hot so it would
travel well. So mixed up. It was like
rank. You You just got me a hundred hate
comments. Yeah. Um No, it was a joint
agreement that I would be fresher for
today. Why do you get to be fresh for
today? Do you know how bad it sounds?
Don't you I'm digging a hole here. No,
it was it was a sensible decision. We
don't live that far from hospital. Go
home, get a couple of hours sleep. I'm
not loose. You're just 8 and 1 half
hours. Oh, no way. Like four. Um I'm one
I know. But just I could go home,
shower, get changed, come back, help out
all day. All I'm saying, help out. He's
your son. Not help. I'm saying Oh,
thanks for your help today, George. Oh
my god. All I'm saying is I'm looking
forward to my full night's sleep
tonight. Yeah. I'm not lifting a finger.
No, don't. You might need to lift a
boob.
So, manage that. Other than that, we're
good. Fuming at me right now. I'm with
my boy tonight. Don't worry about it.
His skin's so dark. Like they say it's
because it's like the blood vessels and
stuff when they're born, but like I'm
obviously really pale, so anyone looks
darkness to me. But it's funny, isn't
it, that newborns have such dark skin
and then coded as well. And then it's I
was about to say it sheds. It doesn't
shed. It like changes color. He's He's a
human. He's not a snake. He looks so
much like when he was born. We'll put a
picture in here of the two. Look at that
comparison. It's crazy. So Kod's on top.
Um Yeah. So similar. Um and we we Oh,
yeah. Last night. So Oh, yeah. Great. So
we g we gave birth I gave birth. We went
to from the delivery suite into this
like private room. We requested a
private you can like if there's one
available you can pay more and get a
private room. I was on the ward last
time for a bit and I really didn't cope
well with it. Um so if you can and you
want to like there's sometimes the
option to do that if they're available.
So got to use a little bit of that.
What do they do? Send send us a bill.
How are they going to let us out? They
don't know where we live. £4,000. Do we
pay on exit? Um, yeah. So, we're going
to basically It's not £4,000. No, I
think it's like 80 quid or something,
but I don't know. Don't hold me to that.
Do you know what was £4,000?
Yes. When we came back to the UK, we had
to pay £4,000 to come back to our own
country.
That's a rant for another. Carry on.
Carry on. So, we are No, it's not. We
don't need to rant about that anymore.
We've ranted about it the whole time in
the I'm not done. I'm not done. Okay. We
we we we um we need uh came into this
room. I had a shower, sorted our stuff
out, and then just before George went
home, we did a couple of FaceTimes to
the parents and introduced him, told
everyone his name and everything. And
then we've done a few more FaceTimes
this morning, and then like sent
messages out to people and friends. So,
like, we're starting to tell people,
aren't we, which is so exciting. But I
feel like today's gone so fast. It's
like half 7. It has gone fast. We we
definitely meant to like talk about this
all through today and now it's 7:00 and
we're vlogging. I like that because I
think like we're so normally we're so
trying to do everything, but that shows
today we've just had one focus. Oh,
we've been in the moment. Yeah. If you'd
like to know, I've had beef lasagna
twice today cuz I enjoyed it so much at
lunch. It's like crispy m. How was it?
How's the NHS food? Is it all right?
Like the stuff yesterday horrendous. But
because I tried the lasagna at lunch and
liked it, I was like, "Yeah, stick with
that." Fair enough. Um and I had it with
peas and mixed vegetables. So just like
a massive plate of veg and a lasagna.
Quite nice sponge pudding. Do you
remember last time that was lovely? That
syrup pudding dry. Horrible. Dry. Not
nice and I was gutted cuz I really
enjoyed last soft cakey. This was just
like hard. That's a shame. Anyway, I
don't This has been like one really
boring long clip. This is a 12minute
clip so far. Sorry. That was meant to be
throughout the whole day. There you go.
But you've had it condensed into one.
I've had a child. People say you talk a
lot and now Thanks. You're living up to
your reputation. Thank you. But guys, we
are going to leave this room now. Take
our boy home and figure out how to do
life with two kids,
family of four. Mental with the boys. Me
and the boys. That's right. Just the
boys. So, we're going to give it a few
days. But then, guys, we are off. We
have tickets booked. We have flights
booked. No, that's So, today's
Wednesday. That's not happen. Yeah,
Sunday. We fly Saturday, don't we? Um,
round the world trip. Yeah, a sailing
trip. Sailing around the world. It's
going to be interesting. No, we're not.
That's definitely not happening. We are
spending some good time at home getting
six or seven trips both this year though
for the like Oh, we do for later in the
year. Actually, one's in like five
weeks. Cool, cool, cool, cool. So, five
weeks off chilling and then back filming
loads of vlogs apart from filming. We're
not going to be able to help filming
vlogs at home, but that that's fine.
That that that doesn't we love that,
right? Let's get him. Someone's calling
me in there. Let's get out of here.
[Music]
Babies are so funny. So many noises. You
forget they make noises. I know all days
like
it's quite squeaky. Yeah, very squeaky.
Kod actually met him today as well and
it was like probably in my like top
three life moments ever. Like the most
magical moment moments are Kod being
born, this baby being born. Bleep. Oh my
goodness. And them meeting. They're my
top three life moments. It was amazing.
Hang on. Hang on. What about when you
met me?
You were you were just my friend. Top
top 17. No, not when I first met you cuz
we just just didn't really know each
other. No. Fair enough. No, sorry. Um,
we did film that and we're going to put
we'll probably do a whole video about
that cuz it was so long. Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah. We'll put all that together and
we'll upload it. So, if you want to see
that soon, then keep an eye on the
channel. But, very exciting. You know,
it gets to meet everyone. Going to have
a lot of visitors. Yeah.
[Music]
Oh, what a day. What a couple of days.
Just magical. It's the best best moment
of your life. It really is. Feels
different with Koda. It was the first
time for everything. You you you know,
you don't know anything to expect. This
time it feels like we've walked into a
time machine and gone back, but you know
kind of what to expect. But some of the
little it's the small things I've
noticed that I forgot
which come back to you straight away
once you remind yourself. But we have
this like nappy trick with KOD where you
put the new nappy underneath first, then
change the old one, and then the new
one's just ready to go and put on.
Forgot we did that. I had this other one
cuz he's a boy. There's always a chance
of him weeding when you change him. Weed
everywhere. Earlier with Codo, I
remember I had this little trick. I put
my hand in a certain way with the old
nappy kind of covering while I clean
him. Um, that came back to me today. I
remember that I always change baby's
side on, but I was trying to change him
front on. It didn't feel natural. It was
slow and clunky. Soon as I switched to
that side position, it all came flooding
back. So weird things like that, but
just amazing.
Just amazing, aren't you? Everyone we've
sent photos to. And some people have
really surprised me with this. Everyone
said he looks so much like Koda. Even
friends of ours who have only known Kod
as like a two or three-year-old who
maybe have only seen one or two photos
of him as a baby, but they instantly
could tell that he looks just like his
brother, which is cool. But it's time to
get you home, mate. Let's go.
[Music]
When the sage brings the ride of
spring and the sparrow
sing through the light that the sun will
bring.
[Music]
These are all the kids ones. Have a
look, mate. There's loads. Look. A
dinosaur one. You want a dinosaur one?
Yeah. H.
Okay. Dinosaur. No.
Let's keep
looking. Might have to do a different
animal. Oh, that's dinosaur. I don't
want I don't like those people. You
don't like those ones? No, I don't like
those people. Okay. Hello, guys. Join me
again from the post office where Kod and
I are currently doing a little bit of an
errand run. We have to send I sold
something on eBay I had to send it off.
And now Kod's having a rummage through
the toys. Maybe another day. Lucy's
basically got an appointment today
she'll tell you about. Toy another day.
Should we go and find a magazine then?
He really wanted a magazine. I promised
a magazine. Let's go to the other shop
and get a magazine. Sound good? Yeah.
Come on then. You come up with daddy. So
what magazine do you want?
I don't know. Don't know. Dinosaur.
Dinosaur magazine. Okay, cool. Really
nice day today, isn't it, mate? How's
your brother today? Good. Yeah. Yeah.
Really good.
Oh, lava. Oh, no. Not lava again. Did
that yesterday all through the hospital?
The floor is lava, didn't we? So, um
yeah, we're already we're already doing
the family of four thing. I'm taking Kod
out so Lucy can have some time with this
lady who's come to the house and our
son, our newborn son. Ta. Ah. Okay. And
then I might take Cody to the park. We
go to the park. Well, now. Well, in a
minute. Yeah. After we find a magazine.
Yeah. Yeah. And then maybe some lunch as
well. Sound good. It might be lava.
What is it with three-year-olds not
wanting to wear the hats? When Lucy
watches this
back. When Lucy watches this vlog, she's
going to be like, "George, the one thing
I told you keep his hat on." But
apparently the wind blew it off. That's
what he keeps telling me. Wasn't the
wind though, was it? Well, wasn't the
wind. It was the wind. No, it wasn't
because
I just No. No.
What? What?
Ready? Yes, I'm ready. And then we're
going to push it down.
Whoa. Because Lucy has obviously been
through a lot in the last few days on
take Koda. I think we're going to go and
get her some presents. It's just some
really nice stuff. All their favorite
things. I want to make it to a place
called Baked in Worththing, which if
you're local Oh, he did it again. If
you're local, you must try Baked. The
most unbelievable brownies and blondies
and stuff. So, I want to get there. I do
need to selfishly pick myself up a
little coffee cuz I am due due for a
feed of caffeine. Kota didn't like any
of the magazines in that last shop that
we looked at, did you, mate? You didn't
find your mag, did you? No. So, I'm
going to try and go to a different shop
near Baked and find some mag. We get
mommy. What? Should we get mommy some
flowers? What do you want to get mommy?
Whoa. Should we get mommy some flowers?
Yeah, I think we're getting mommy some
flowers. There's a big fair going on
quite near where we live. Got teacups.
Teacups. You love teacups, don't you?
And um my dad took over here yesterday
and he was like, "Let me show you. Let
me show you where I went with Gramps. I
know. So, we're just wandering around.
It's a bit eerie in a way. Walking
around like an empty fairground. No
people. Everything's closed, but just
here and ready. Just knowing that
tomorrow on the weekend, this is just
going to be packed and loud and busy and
mental. But yeah, Cody seems to know his
way
around. They look cool. What are
they, Cody? This was my favorite when I
was a boy. The bumper cars. Bumper cars
were my absolute favorite. Oh, there's a
little
carousel. What was your favorite?
That one. That train. Yeah. There. And I
tend to go there and mommy tend to go
there and tend to go there. Okay. And um
Oh, that's Oh,
wow. Oh, that looks cool.
No. Me in the drive. Yeah. and Phoebe
and
and he um and
and go out the back. He's planning out
where everyone's going to go. So, his
cousin's going to drive with him. Auntie
M's going to go at the back. Yeah. What
about daddy? Where am I going to go?
Some cousins are going to go in the back
as well. Your cousins are going to go in
the back as well. Wow. £3 a person. 2025
prices.
The me will drive. The and you will
drive. Yeah. Okay, cool. Um I think
Phoebe wants to drive. Really? I want to
go in there. Can't really go in yet,
mate. Cuz it's not open. Okay. Why? Cuz
it's not the fair yet. Look, it's
Everything's closed. They're just
getting ready, aren't they?
Yeah. That has that one. That's closed.
Yeah, that's closed. That one had That's
not closed. Well, it's not ready yet.
[Music]
So, Kod and I have pretty much been
everywhere today, haven't we, mate? We
are now in our final place before going
home. Are you on? Yeah. Are you on?
Good. So, where have we been? We went to
the park. We went to the post office,
didn't we? Post office first, then went
to the park. Then we went to a coffee
shop. No. Then we went to the place
where we got Cobra's little toy, your
slime, which I don't think I've shown
you on the vlog yet. Then we went to the
coffee shop. Then we went to bake to get
some brownies. Don't think I've vlogged
any of
this. Then we went, where do we go after
the brownie shop? We went to Co-op to
get mommy some flowers. Don't think I
vlogged that either. And then we went to
That was it. Now we're here. Get up Lucy
some lunch. Then we're going home. We've
been running around town, haven't we?
Wow.
I didn't think that. Who are they for?
Yeah. Oh,
sweetheart. They are beautiful. And
they're lovely color, aren't they? Yeah.
Red. Smell them. Red and green. That's
like me and you. Smell them. Love you.
Thank you.
I got a bag. Yeah.
What's this?
Take them to mommy.
[Music]
Oh, one on there.
These are for later. What's that one,
darling? I can't quite see it. Let me
show
you. Oh, wow. Is that baked?
So good to be home. The first night
actually was fine. He slept really well
and we actually had to wake him for
feeds. You'll see in the next video that
it didn't quite stay like that. So watch
his space cuz I think we may have spoken
to you soon when we said he's a great
sleeper. Why did we say that when he was
2 days old? I don't know. Um but yeah,
so good to be home and such a different
experience in the hospital and the birth
and everything versus Kodas. um which
took me a long time to get my head
around, but this time I'm already
feeling a lot more positive and a lot
more confident about it, the decisions
we made, how it all went. Um and
obviously great not having to stay in
the hospital for like nearly a week like
last time. So yeah, all good stuff. We
are going to end this video here. We've
got loads of really nice vlogs to come.
We're going to be announcing his name in
the next video. We're going to be we're
going to be showing you the first time
that Koda met his little brother. And
we've just got so many nice videos
coming up. We've got some trips planned
as a family of four and it's just a
really special time. So, if you are
watching these videos, thank you so much
for joining us and we hope you enjoy the
the content we've got to come going
forwards the next part of this year.
Yeah, it's just really cool that you're
still here watching us as our family
grows. Here he is. Here's the boy. So,
tiny. Bless him. And for us, we've
actually just announced on Instagram and
YouTube the birth of our son. So, we're
currently like going crazy replying to
DMs and messages and comments and stuff.
So, if you've left any comments of
congratulations um or welcome our little
one into the world, then thank you so
much. We really appreciate that. And um
yeah, we'll see you very soon in the
next video. So, thanks for watching.
Give it a thumbs up if you enjoyed it.
Subscribe if you're new. And goodbye
from us in our little newborn bubble. I
look really tired. I've just seen how
tired I look in this
clip. It's
temporary. This shoe shall pass. What's
that from? This shoe shall pass. It's
not what I said. This shoe shall fit.
Don't know. Okay. Thanks for watching
and I'll see you very soon in the next
GC vlog. Goodbye.
