1 Week onboard P&O ARVIA - We Were SHOCKED! Majorca & La Spezia (Mediterranean Cruise Vlog PART 4)

[Music] good morning from mayor wonderful face day a [Music] so we have now I would say got to know the ship a lot better we kind of know our way around I think he knows as well he kind of knows the way around yeah he does a lot quieter this morning I think a lot of people have gotten off maybe a little bit earlier so we're going to hopefully have a nice smooth breakfast experience the restaurant breakfasts have been really good really good and last tonight we didn't actually Vlog it but we had a meal at the glass house so we're on the piano Aria I don't think I've mentioned that yet I haven't really said good morning I just said welcome to straight straight in um and we went to The Glass House and it was by far the best meal we've had on the whole ship amazing tap pass like beautiful flavors and yeah 100% standout meal by quite a long way um so if you are going to be coming on board 100% recommend the Glass House you get like three tap pass dishes for £10 so it's quite reasonably priced and yeah it's nice to have something a bit different as well what's that darling toy shops Play We also shared the wine flight so it's like three nice special wines um we just shared it it's just a little Conti but it was really really nice yeah another day on the cruise on the arvia this another Cruise shipping dock that kod and I watched come in this morning as well which was cool the um an MSC ship looked small in comparison yeah I know we are massive this Aria ship is massive but umia eight times Aria Aria yeah Zenith restaurant first let's go morning [Music] morning now I know darling but we're going to order your food first and then we'll find Millie once we'll find Millie in a [Music] minute show me what is show Daddy yes mate that is our money I think Daddy needs to look after after it can daddy look after it yeah we pop it in there good boy K's made a really good friend on board Millie and he really wants to go and try and find her in the restaurant and I don't know how he just got access to our bag and all of our money but he did so there we go and that was the wise debit card that you saw it looks like we just set that shot up to go into this little section but we did not um but today's video is in partnership with wise so before we came on this trip we wanted to find a way to spend money abroad without being charged because if I was going to use my kind of regular debit card and stuff I basically would never do that because you get so many unknown charges with banks or extra transaction fees and things when you use your regular debit cards abroad but when you use the wise debit card there's none of that there's no fees so we've loaded some money onto that before coming on the trip and we can use that we can also use it with Apple pay which is really really handy so we can go around as if we were in the UK and spend our money so that what we're going to be doing today in meor so big thanks to wise for working with us on this video they if 30 minutes I don't know if that meant walk I don't know if it's a 30-minute shutle bus or if you don't do the shutle bus it's a 30-minute walk I wasn't sure oh I see I'd kind of be up for a 30 minute walk but anyway we're in the queue for the buses might as well get into the nice kind of town area and then have a little explore I take away your P drowning by yourself now you want to blame me like you have no options I ain't take your options not the problem man that's you've been Terror about 30 minutes shle bus ride I'm glad we got the shle bus and not walked cuz it was actually quite a long distance uh and it dropped you right near the cathedral which is pretty amazing I think it's one of the biggest um selling points uh what's it called spots like attractions yeah and there's like water in front of it I think that's like a little moat around it oh no it's just a little bit of water in front very busy very hot quite touristy and full of people from all different cruise ships I think and there's load of people with like signs up with numbers on tours and stuff and exhibit a quite a lot of history here I think as well but I think of course the first thing we're going to do is find a coffee shop because that's what we do in every city oh man I was hoping you'd say that I was like um loose where where are we heading exactly she's like uh just kind of to the cathedral I was like okay nice nice yeah I mean looks looks very nice very nice but um when's When's the uh when's the coffee when's the coffee shop so I'm glad that is the next stop this is so much nicer than I was expecting I didn't think it was on my list six destinations on our cruise this was not in my like top destinations for some reason um but if I turn around here sorry George are you the director of the Vlog I'm about to turn around and reveal this which is a really beautiful little like shopping street it's got the little black um what they called things um over it it just looks amazing it looks like um what's it like I don't know it reminds me of someone we've been bit like me yeah but also then mixed with like Singapore because you get these shutters they look like the Singapore tow houses looks exactly the same really beautiful some nice shops as well there's a nice little um like gymwear shop in here looks very nice um what's the coffee shop we called we're going to Nano coffee a nano coffee lab we found a specialty coffee shop that called themselves a lab which I think is a sign that it's going to be very good uh making good coffee so scientifically good so it should taste amazing um but yeah absolutely beautiful I can't really stop taking pictures wow look here that's just so stunning oh I want a you should get a photo with that little fat where there that's a really cool photo [Music] we're just having a quick look in Zara home Spanish version I don't know if it's different stuff but seems to be really nice we've got a tiny bit of room in our cases if we want to do a little bit of shopping on this trip just a little bit but we can't be buying like pillows and chairs you can have whatever you want you can take whatever you want off the ship we can just carry a Zara bag off it's literally fine yeah but I really like that armchair downstairs our Google Maps has taken us down this little side alley apparently the coffee shop is just around is that right yes just around the corner turn right at the end and then we are here wow this is cool this is like the old brick and the old kind of style this this is not like back alley and Worthing is it they're still gratic but definitely more historic and more artistic shall we say oh [Music] yeah so dirty yeah you look so dirty you were never coffee is good really really good I've lost Lucy so that's what I'm trying to do find her out how did I know i' find you in a bakery oh I actually get anything I just went an orange juice and I went to the toilet I just quickly mention that I used Apple pay with my wise debit card to pay for that coffee no transaction fees if you travel good amazing this card is so good because often like if you Ed to a normal bank account often it will have a like a a currency conversion rate as well as like a transaction fee this is nothing which is amazing I'm might look at this jewelry shop sorry you carry on George and if say you're going on a trip tonight or tomorrow and you're watching this and you're thinking oh I don't have time for the card to arrive don't fear because it works on Apple pay straight away if you set up your account um you can actually access it through your Apple pay immediately which is awesome wise is also a platform where you can transfer money between countries and different current CES as well we use it to make payments to the 100 things I also got which was very appealing I saw they had a sign for Alman shakes which I've never heard of so we're going to give this a go it looks very nutty oh my God that's amazing it tastes like kind of like kinder sort of um PR rochet kind of thing not too sweet really creamy really nutty and it's got like crunchy bits of nut in oh my God that's like the nicest milk I've ever had oh so nice and refreshing it's really humid it's exactly what I needed but I do need to find my child that's the next mission L she's just gone to the bathroom with Koda and she just handed me this she was running off she was like I've just bought this try it she hasn't even told me what it is but it's absolutely delicious whatever it is I don't she may have tried it on camera already I I don't know cuz Cod and I went for a little walk right up those steps help him stretch his legs but yeah this I could drink this every day I'm sure it's full of sugar but when we're traveling I do allow myself to try some delicious things I better save some for Lucy oh yeah how is it not good not good okay kod is not a fan nice really nice not that much going on okay maybe I should have got one with more going on there there was a cream one yeah maybe it's PR nice it's like fluffy not sweet that makes up for it that is delicious that is almond right [Music] the can I touch it oh sorry guys okay good evening everybody we've got our shirts on haven't we yeah and we're going to get some dinner at the epicurian this evening we're just waiting for Lucy waiting for mommy aren't we look at this outfit me up yes I'm wearing my new necklace that I bought today in mayorca oh did youy I didn't even see you buy that that's where I was in that jewelry shop it's very nice very aquatic now if you don't know theepic is have the piano's top top restaurant like their fine dining restaurant it's yeah it's the best of the best most cruises we do with piano we do try and get at least one meal in at the epicurian and tonight is that night so I've put a shirt on Lucy's wearing a beautiful dress both dressed in blue unintentionally matching Nest The Crows Nest yeah Crow Nest so it's next to the Crow's Nest which is a nice bar at the back of the ship so we could oh at the front ship we' been on this Cruise a week by the way guys this is like the week Mark we've been spending a whole week here George still hasn't got the front and back shorted I mean it doesn't really matter does it I mean I I should probably know my way around a little bit more than I do by now you want to sit next to the you want to need some chips for You singer no chips no you want spaghetti ring spaghetti ring yeah anything yeah and for dessert we vegetables vegetable yeah I will give you vegetable you like vegetable yeah nice how about your dessert you want strawberry jelly or chocolate brownies with vanilla ice cream chocolate brownies good yes with with one ice cream yeah I will get it right thank you thank you she likes Cod has ordered two smoothies and an orange juice this morning for himself I said oh it's okay you can just have one smoothie but they insisted on all three only for you no worries for you oh that's so [Music] cool it's really good but hasn't everyone just been so nice with her hair like he's had the best time ever cuz everyone's just so sweet with him I'm not what are you um [Music] just say like dark so you can probably see by the colors around it's a very gloomy day today it was meant to be thunderstorm so I'm not complaining at all it's literally just like a bit cooler it's still warm I'm still in a dress and it's quite muggy still but first impressions it's really beautiful we've just walked along the kind of kind of Boardwalk area and the ship's just behind us over here um and there's the harbor with loads of boats there like quite a busy main road behind me here there's a little park and then everywhere you look there's just mountains in the distance um and also in front of me here just past these trees there's other mountains and they've got little houses dotted all along them so it just looks really beautiful amazing trees as well okay it started raining but we found this statue of a horse and it's really cool cuz you can see through the buildings over here and there's those little purple flowers everywhere it's really cool so we just found that Amazing Deli so it's a Sunday here not much is open as you can see lots of shop Windows shut um the deli was open loads of meats cheese is basically all my favorite food cold meats bread pasta we've got a jar of pesto and a few bags of pasta to have at home um because obviously being on a cruise there's no weight restrictions there's no luggage restrictions so we can carry on as much pasta as we want to but it's so nice here it's quite busy I'm sure there's a lot of tourists here but there seems to be a lot of locals as well um I really like it I love Italy I don't know where we don't come more often it's so close to where we live and everywhere you look down these little alleys you just got these amazing views of these hillsides with houses all over them and um really beautiful really nice place and as you just saw again we used our wise debit card to make that purchase so it's just so nice not having to get cash out everywhere just having that like International car that we can just t anywhere but if there's places that don't take card and only take cash you can use the wise debit card on the ATM as well you can withdraw cash won't be charged anything other than like the ATM fee that you might have yeah like anywhere with anywhere and any with anywhere on any card but yeah no transaction so you can safely get cash out if you need to get cash out when you travel which is always good always good well this is busy opened up here I love these little like classic European balconies overlooking these busy streets so cool they've always got like hanging over the edge [Applause] [Music] [Music] nice did you have a shout to you I said can you get a cost on yeah amazing okay so this is cool we're now in an apartment building I'm a cat which we never thought we'd be inom I'm a cat you're a cat the Rain Street is just out here some some ladies very kindly open the door they were like just wait inside so right I don't know what's just happened we made a run for it I've never been more soaked in my life and we now sat outside in the rain go thank [Music] you you're smelling itella and [Music] this is chocolate one so for Nutella and pistachio they're both ridiculous I love P cold yes it is very which one's your favorite the chocolate one it's amazing perfect texture as well but I'm so cold right now ice creams not it when you're freezing what time you do back on the ship by the way about half an hour ago there's my surname nearly I'm dagostino that's Sago would be like stino all right nice and dry showered refreshed for dinner nice little hot tub sesh but only about 30 minutes before dinner back to the cabin to shower freshen up Etc we are now off for dinner at the main dining the Meridian yeah okay we got to get it right cuz too the main dining restaurant the MDR as we have learned Cruise enthusiasts and regulars like to call it I thought I made up no I've heard MDR a few times I thought that was my one no sadly not 545 booking all right nice actually got a second dinner plan this evening and we'll tell you about that in a minute so we are about to sail away now we' got a little view out the window that you can't really see but um tomorrow's stop is marsill in France so we are Spain Italy France quite quick fire which is cool one of the really cool things about cruising you can have tiny little mini city breaks like today was like had almost like a whole little city break in half a day and we're going to do the same tomorrow and the next day all in different places one thing we love about about cruising the puzzles on the floor the puzzles on the floor can you pick up the puzzles on the floor all right oh yeah it is isn't it yeah the the food in this restaurant has been kind of I don't know we've had some good some average I would say we haven't actually had bad food that starter the deep fried I mean if it starts with deep fried I do have a bit of a weakness for that but it was deep fried pork cheek wasn't it with potato braas it's like pulled pork inside really really delicious starter we've got sunny conditions tomorrow the captain just told everyone and everyone cheered from their tables ping look ddy got fa color color yeah that's your favorite color isn't it mate would you like to try some that's my favorite color it yeah do you want some with a spoon you have your ice cream you sit down then d we got a little spoon for you we ask for a spoon what's that you know what it is you ordered it we've ordered two desserts to share j's got a tonk of bean mousse I've got a rice pudding with almonds
