Ah good morning everyone, welcome to a beautiful day on our cruise ship. We're currently sailing
around the coast of Spain to our next port. What a sunrise, what a beautiful start to the day.
We've had our cup of coffee and we are just enjoying these amazing views. Whoa there's water
falling from the sky, it's not rain. I think there's a hot tub above us and the water's like
leaking over the edge because it's a bit choppy. So today is a day at sea for us, we're going to
be bringing you along for our day again today. We've got some lovely plans, we're going to be
trying out some of the other cool things on the ship. We've got some lovely food plans,
we're going to be going swimming, they've even got a golf course on a cruise ship which is just wild.
So thanks so much for all the support on the cruise video so far, we really hope you're
enjoying them. We absolutely love making cruise videos because it means we get to go on a cruise
which is obviously amazing and we just love capturing these memories as well. We love
capturing moments to look back on especially with our sons. If you're new around here we've got a
two and a half year old son called Coda and he is honestly having the best time of his life.
He's absolutely loving this trip so far but yeah just getting these moments of him is just the
best. Already can't wait for when we're older to look back on them. I'm not trying to wish away
time but capturing these memories is just so so special. We've also got this we want to use today
which is the Insta360 GO 3S and we're going to be getting some of his POV today because it's got a
chest mount. It's a really really cool little camera, so tiny I mean look at it but compared
to the heavy thing I'm holding right now which is actually I'm straining to hold it like my bicep is
pumping right now this is just amazing. It's just so much easier to carry around on a day at sea.
Let's head back in the cabin we're going to go for some breakfast and we'll talk a bit more about this
in a sec. Yes so so nice waking up to that sunrise this morning, unbelievable. Trying to keep this
cabin tidy we've all like we've got loads of toys for Coda out and books and stuff. I know they come
and tidy the cabin, we do try and keep it as tidy as possible. Right what do we need guys for
breakfast? We're going swimming straight after. Swimming stuff, cameras. I'm thinking let's let Coda wear this.
Okay Coda would you like to wear a magic camera? It's ready. Do you want to try and wear the magic camera?
So this is how I got that hands-free coffee shot this morning. As Lucy said this little guy.
You want to wear it? Okay right so what you have to do. We've got to get it to top possessing first.
Hang on that's on like adult mode. We've got to adjust the height. Hang on darling. So you basically get a
hands-free POV. Thanks to Insta360 for sending us this for this trip by the way. Then it goes under
your t-shirt. Magic. Look. Do you want to put it on? You clip it on. Ready? You clip it on yourself. It's going to be your vlog.
Is that good? So once he gets over the fact that he can do that hopefully we get some very cool
POVs today. Yeah it's gonna be so cool. The whole reason we started this channel is to like make
memories of our lives and now we're gonna be able to like see his kind of point of view. Amazing.
And then at the same time you get this action pod where the camera goes in there. This screen
kind of flips up and I will be able to view what Coda is seeing on this screen. I can see your
yeah I can see your camera mate. So who's ready for breakfast? Are we ready? Yes. Ready for breakfast?
Yes we are. We can see Coda's point of view. Look you can see Lucy at the moment.
I'm glad it's an action camera. I'm really glad it's an action camera because he's gonna get a lot of movement
today on a two-year-old. That's amazing. He should have his own channel. Have his own little vlog.
Have his own little cruise vlog. Okay breakfast time. Today we are checking out
the keys for breakfast which we haven't eaten out yet. That's gonna be fun. Yeah.
That's what I mean. Lucy's on the technicalities. So yes a lot of these shots on the vlog today
are gonna be filmed with this amazing tiny camera. If you like the look of it. If you're making your
own videos. If you just want holiday memories. This has a feature even if you're not really a
vlogger or anything. This has a feature where you can just wear it for the day and it will film
as and when throughout the day little clips. And at the end AI will edit a video together for you.
So if you just want to capture like holiday memories or you don't have to think about it.
Just POV stuff. It does that. That's called interval mode. It just works really well. There's
gonna be a link below where if you purchase the camera you can get a free gift and the first 10
orders receive a special discount. So this one here. You see there's two sides. We've got the
purple and we've got the green. We want the green one to go on the front door. So can you put it on
the front for me. Let's go. I want to look at this. Are we on nine or that's six? I want to look at this.
I'm on eight and I did come through.
There, there.
Left, left, left.
Like this.
Hold it together.
Slippy, slippy.
Can I find the food?
I wanna find the food.
I want a great cake.
A what cake?
Great cake.
Right, you wait here.
High five.
A kiwi.
Exactly, yeah, yeah, it's quite good.
It's just right.
Is it just right?
It's just right.
So at the Keys, where George is getting us now, we've got three options.
There's a station for pancakes and waffles, then there's one for eggs, and then there's one for, we've got full English books.
And as well as cereals and fruit and stuff, it's actually a really good option.
It's a bit easier and less busy than the buffet, and a bit less informal than the restaurant.
So yeah, I'd definitely recommend it.
You still get your freshly made omelettes and stuff that you'd expect from the restaurant.
So we're all happy to be in here for breakfast today.
There's also a little toddler show on at 10, but that starts in five minutes.
Whether or not he's finished his eggs by then, I'm not sure.
If he has, we'll go and check that out.
Wow, I would say this is the first proper sunny day that we've had, wouldn't you say?
Yes, finally.
There's so many people lying down on these sunbeds, the sunlight pouring in.
Beautiful, really, really nice.
We're going to go in this hot tub here.
There's one over the back as well.
We're just going to jump in here.
Even though we could have gone in the normal pool today, we've been going in the hot tub,
because since Southampton, it's been kind of a little bit cold.
So we've been going in the hot tubs to keep warm.
But I mean, today, I don't think it matters.
Oh, cool. Are you wearing that?
This is waterproof, and we can actually take it in the pool and film some bits there as well.
Oh, nice.
You're helping us make the vlog today.
Cool, man.
Okay, we have come out.
Coda has fallen asleep in the buggy, which he never does anymore, ever.
So he's having a little sleep.
We are getting a little coffee at Costa here.
So they've got Costa Coffee on board.
And then Lucy and I are going to go and try and have a little couple's lunch,
which is great.
If we could eat the whole meal without having to get up and run after Coda
and keep him entertained and stuff, that's going to be really nice.
Then when he wakes up, we're going to go and play some mini golf,
which is going to be fun.
And basically just spend today seeing what the ship has to offer on a sea day.
Because this is P&O's largest ship.
It's massive. It's huge.
It is so long.
Lucy sent a photo to her nanny when we first got on,
and she replied saying,
wow, that ship literally looks like a building, like a block of flats.
And like from the outside, it does.
It's incredible.
When we were in port yesterday, it just looked massive.
Yeah, a little iced coffee on the way.
Then we'll head to, where are we going?
We're going to the buffet, right?
Oh, where are we going?
American Diner.
This is the other thing.
I never have any idea what we're actually doing or where we're going.
So I'm glad Lucy's with me.
K.O.D.A.
K.O.D.A. Koda. Nice to meet you.
My name is Jobar Koda.
Ah, Jobar.
We've been together.
We've been to the Philippines, haven't we?
We've been to the Philippines.
Where did we go in the Philippines?
Something.
Paran.
Oh, really?
Yeah.
And many places.
Many places.
We've been already in Coral.
But we've been in the Philippines but never been in Coral.
Oh, really?
Yeah.
Because the Philippines is divided into three islands.
Yeah.
And the Philippines is this Visayas part.
Oh, nice.
Whereabouts?
It's close from Iloilo.
Iloilo.
Oh, we love Iloilo, yeah.
We were there this morning.
Yeah, yeah.
And we went to Dinner Gang Festival for three years.
We've been, yeah.
It's amazing.
We've been to the Philippines many times.
Yeah.
We love the Philippines.
Yeah.
We love the Philippines, really.
Yeah.
Cool.
In the Philippines, what kind of food would you like?
What food did you like?
Do you remember the bread?
The bread.
The bread he likes.
Oh, yeah.
Pandacoco.
And he likes all the food.
Mangoes.
Oh, really?
He likes the Filipino mangoes.
Mangoes.
And he tried lechon.
Lechon.
Lechon pork, grilled pork.
It's the famous one.
Her favorite, Sinigang.
Sinigang, yeah.
That's amazing.
Thank you.
Very good.
We keep breaking into Lion King.
Right, we're down one.
We'll ditch the buggy, and then we're going to go and play golf.
But just met a really nice guy there.
We've met so many nice staff here since we've been here.
If I take that, and that guy just there was from the Philippines, and Koda always says
kuya to anyone from the Philippines.
Well, not anyone.
Any male.
But he's a really nice guy.
He's a really nice guy.
And I think they were quite surprised that he knows it, and he was like, you speak Tagalog?
Yeah.
In this way.
Koda was like, I've been to Coron.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And the guy's like, I haven't been to Coron.
They're so nice.
There's a lot of people from different countries, actually, that work on this cruise ship.
It feels like there's a big percentage of Filipinos.
I don't know what the exact percentage will be, but it feels like, yeah, a huge amount
are from the Philippines, which always makes us feel at home.
Da da da da, da da da da, da da da da, da da da da.
Just took it the ducky bike in the room.
Okay, we're now on the very windy top, top deck.
Koda's first time playing golf.
Red one, your favorite color.
This is called your golf club.
Okay?
So you hold it like this, and then do you wanna watch this man do it first?
Do it.
And...
So we've attached it to Koda's captain's hat with the cap mount, so we can get Koda's
POV of his first game of golf.
Yeah.
Then we try and knock it in.
That's it.
We try again.
One more time.
Maybe we'll do it together.
Go on, guys.
Hole in one.
Two, three, bash.
Oh.
Not quite.
Come on, do it.
Yay.
I'm getting very creative now.
I've now attached the camera to the golf club.
Let's see how this looks.
Daddy, work on your aim.
You haven't even messed it up.
Yay, well done, mate.
Oh.
What a great day.
We've had such a good day.
We thought before kind of dinner time and stuff, we'd come back to the cabin, just reset.
If you've ever been on a cruise, let us know if you do that as well.
It's nice just to like come back, reset, maybe shower.
That just exploded.
There's some like pressure thing going on.
Like a ketchup.
Yeah, I opened a ketchup at lunch, and it went everywhere.
It exploded.
So the American Diner was really cool for lunch.
The golf was fun.
So many people up there sunbathing today.
Yeah, hundreds.
We're not sunbathing anymore.
In our old life, we used to be.
I mean, I'd like to be, but there's no sitting still with a toddler.
We're actually going to go and see Shaun the Sheep in a minute instead.
Which I don't know about you, I'd way rather see Shaun the Sheep than sunbathe.
Definitely.
Luz, I've just loaded some of these clips from the pool earlier.
She's basically going to take Coda out to see this kids show.
I'm going to get a little bit of work done, a little bit of editing, some emails and stuff,
just to make sure that I'm kind of up to date with stuff as we go along.
Oh, Coda, look, cool.
That's so good, you're jumping to mummy.
Jump to daddy.
That's you, that's your camera.
That's so good.
Is there any of him as well?
That's your vlog.
Here he is.
Here you go, mate, look.
It's really good underwater, isn't it?
You've got your eyes open.
You've got your eyes open in the water.
It's really clear.
Coda, you've got your eyes open in the water.
That's amazing.
Wow, that's so cute.
Oh, this is so special, having this.
Right, are we ready to see Shaun the Sheep?
Oh, look at that.
That's so cute.
That's so nice.
That could be a thumbnail for a video.
Yeah.
Right, you guys go and see Shaun the Sheep.
That's quite hard to say, Shaun the Sheep.
And then we'll catch up in a little while.
Oh, he's gone, he's at the door.
He's turned the lights off.
I think that's my time to leave.
Oh yes, your time to leave.
Catch you guys in a bit.
All right, this evening, it is our first formal night on this cruise.
So we're going to put our best clothes on, our suits.
Lucy, I'm sure, has a lovely dress.
What are you wearing tonight?
A dress.
A dress, I knew it.
What on earth?
We showed this, but we didn't actually talk about it.
Oh, what, your long stick?
Yeah, that's how we got those really cool shots at the top deck.
Yeah.
See, there's a lot of behind the scenes in this vlogging business, guys.
We wanted to show you some of this today.
It is so quiet when I'm in here on my own.
No, Lucy and Goda.
Are we a really loud family?
I hope not.
I hope people aren't looking at us like, oh, those three again.
I don't think we are, but I only notice it when I'm then on my own and it goes quiet.
Anyway, it is nearly time for us to get ready for our formal night.
I've just been getting some stuff done on the laptop.
We've got the Wi-Fi package on the cruise.
We didn't go for like the super expensive one.
I mean, it is quite expensive anyway,
but we went for the one where it's one device and it's not their fastest package.
We're not planning on like uploading vlogs and stuff whilst we're actually away.
We can do all that and the bulk of the editing and stuff when we get home and I'll sit down in our home office.
My complete set up and our really fast internet and whatever and get all the vlogs sorted then.
We prepared before we came some vlogs to go out whilst we were away.
So that's kind of cool.
We don't really need the super fast internet.
We just kind of got it this time to check emails and just keep on top of stuff as we go.
But I did want to quickly try out the AI auto editing that you can do with the Go 3S.
I think this is cool because a lot of people who want to get into making videos and stuff,
I think the editing can put them off because it takes, it's a skill to learn.
It takes a lot of time.
But if you're just making like little holiday memories and videos and I don't know,
you can get so creative with this thing.
Casey Neistat made a video with this. It was awesome.
The creativity is kind of endless with how you can mount it anywhere.
And the picture's really good.
I've just been checking back the footage as you saw.
It's 4K, it's crisp.
The audio is really nice.
So I've got all the footage here in the camera that we've taken today all coming through.
So I'm just going to select a few clips and just see what it comes up with.
We'll do a little bit of golf.
Six clips.
So I've just selected them.
I'm going next.
And then it will analyze all the footage.
100% already.
Done.
Adding transitions and effects.
This is epic.
This is really cool.
It's put music to it and everything.
That's so cool.
It's just taken like key moments from the day and it's automatically made me a little video.
So I could like share that.
I could literally post that to my Instagram story and say full vlog coming soon.
So it lets you change the music.
You can also change the ratio so you can make it like portrait if you wanted to as well,
if you wanted to post it somewhere else.
So I can then export that.
That is then exporting out.
This would actually work really well for that interval mode that I spoke about earlier
because I could have just had this on.
Say we were at a port or even just on the cruise day,
but it'd probably be better when we're out like yesterday when we were in Spain.
Leave it on.
It records as and when it wants to.
Come back.
Load the footage into the auto editor.
It would just create you a nice video of the day.
No concentrating on the filming.
You just live in the moment.
And the same with the editing.
It's done for you.
That is now exported.
Has left us with a cool little video of our little golf afternoon.
Let's put some of us eating lunch in.
That's when Koda was playing around with it.
And chatting to Kuya at the end.
Ah, really cool.
Lucy and I have also been, well and Koda,
but have also been recognised a lot on this trip,
which has been super nice.
Just going to take a few minutes for myself out on the balcony.
Yeah, a lot of people have recognised us from the channel,
which is always lovely because we love meeting viewers in real life.
That is quite wavy today.
Amazing.
Look at this.
There was one guy who came up to me.
He was like, where do I know you from?
I was like, I recognise you.
And I was like, don't know.
I have no idea.
And then we were kind of joking around.
I said, we are on YouTube.
Could be that.
He was like, YouTube?
Is it YouTube?
And then he got his wife and said, come over.
Where do I know this guy from?
And she was like, I have been following them for years.
They are on YouTube.
And this lady had been, I don't know where they are from.
They had like a northern accent, I want to say.
So somewhere up in the UK, I don't know.
And she said she had been following us since before Koda was born.
So that's like three years plus now.
And she was really surprised to see us on the ship.
And to see Lucy with her short hair.
Because the last time she saw one of the vlogs,
I think Lucy hadn't cut her hair because she's just recently gone really short.
Yeah, it's just amazing having like a community on YouTube,
watching these videos.
If you haven't, if you're thinking of starting a channel,
they said they had a channel as well.
If you're thinking of starting a channel, just do it.
Pick up your camera.
Take that first step just to make a video.
Whatever you're up to.
Whatever you're passionate about.
Whatever you're interested in.
I just think back to like if we hadn't have gone for it.
If we hadn't have thought start the channel and start making videos.
Even if they were like bad at first or cringy or whatever.
If we hadn't have done that, I would not be sitting here right now.
Just watching these waves go by.
And having people come up to us who love the videos.
And are like thanking us for giving them stuff to watch.
It's just so, so cool.
Part five.
Formal night this evening.
I haven't worn a tie for probably since the last cruise.
Or my sister's wedding.
I never have any reason to dress formally.
Scrub up well.
I mean maybe I should wear this more day to day.
So we're going for, oh, I don't know if the tie is long enough.
I have to walk around like that.
Walk into the restaurant like that.
Oh, it's swinging around as well.
Do I have to do that again?
It's took me ages.
Yeah, I think I do.
That's annoying.
Okay, I'm now ready to go as well.
I've gone for this like silky number tonight.
Off the shoulders.
Whole necklace.
Feeling a little sun-kissed from the sun today.
We are a bit late for our reservation.
So it's formal night.
I'm not sure if George told you.
But it's basically on the cruise where you dress up a little bit more.
And there's more of like a dress code in the restaurant.
So I've got heels on.
We'll see how long they last.
Very hungry.
Very much looking forward to the food.
Ah, that's good.
648 nights on board.
That's over four and a half years travelling with P&O Cruises.
Our most travelled guest is Mr Graham Wells.
Four and a half years travelling.
Yeah, in total.
Four and a half years.
Such a beautiful day.
Just been to the gym.
Hence the gym gear.
And I just wanted to quickly end this video here.
We had a lovely evening yesterday at formal night.
And then we went to a theatre show.
Which Koda enjoyed.
I mean he only watched about ten minutes of it.
And then we left.
And then we went to a little disco.
But we are all having the best, best time.
I just wanted to end this video quickly on the balcony.
Before we start our next day today.
Which is another day at sea.
And then tomorrow we've got another destination to show you.
Which we're very excited for.
But it's been so nice today with the Insta360 Go 3S.
Having it with us all day.
A real essential for making these travel videos.
And it's definitely going to be a big part of our kit in the future.
As parents, being hands free.
So we can actually be in the moment with our son.
And not worry about getting cameras out.
And filming stuff on the phone.
Doing whatever.
We can just let the recording happen.
Sort of in the background.
Whilst we're living in the moment.
It's just so, so nice.
But like we said earlier.
There is going to be a link below.
If you want to check out this camera for yourselves.
Where you can get a special gift.
And 5% off.
So highly, highly recommend checking it out.
If it's something that you might be interested in.
But for now, goodbye from me.
On our cruise ship balcony.
And we'll see you very soon.
In our next video of this cruise.
Which will be around a few days from now.
Goodbye.
