Recent images do show that her sprawling Hidden Hills mansion, already a fixture of celeb architecture, is in the midst of a dramatic overhaul that includes adding a massive new wing. In 2021, a lawsuit filed by a neighbor revealed that Kim had proposed the addition of an underground vault, subterranean parking, an attached subterranean wellness center, and a detached guard house. According to documents, the neighbor filed an emergency motion to blow construction. The court denied it. Work on the property appeared to slow during her divorce proceedings, but by mid 2024, Kim reportedly moved herself and her kids out temporarily just to allow construction to continue. Initially rumored to accommodate just a single new room. However, the latest images confirm the project is much larger than expected. I'm fully remodeling, and it's not easy to do this with four kids." She said, "I have one time in my life when I can do this." Footage from the show revealed rooms lined with labeled cardboard boxes and floors covered in protective wrap. When Chris Jenner stopped by, she was shocked by the clutter and labeled Kim a hoarder.
