Advances to the playoffs as the 7th seed, Bay lines it up, too strong, offensive rebound, Collins, bounces for Bay, who slams it down! It's the same highlight over and over again for the Hawks. Hero shows defensively, Murray fends him off, shot clock is down to 3, Murray crosses, Murray, tough delivery! High off the window, DeJounte Murray, and the Hawks are cooking. Murray, the jumper, short, rebound, again the Hawks have it, Collins scores in the foul! Atlanta advances to the NBA playoffs. 116-105, the Hawks will be the 7th seed, they will meet the Boston Celtics in the first round, Miami is going to have to get it done on Friday night. Good stuff there, Chris, good reporting, that'll be something to watch for sure, Lowry coming off a 33-point game Tuesday. Here's DeRozan again, he's fouled, and the shooters bounce! On cue, DeMar DeRozan! Kick and roll over the top, Butler able to drive away, and now a big steal. Martin running with it, Butler takes it himself, and he gets away! Strews, set up by O'Hero and Martin on the floor, Butler take it on Caruso, it goes, Emily Buckets! Being 0-5 from 3 tonight, 6-17 overall, big struggle for him. Just 15 points, Jimmy Butler leaves it, now Strews! Strews has the screener for Butler, and forces switch. O'Hero, lost Caruso! Jimmy Butler, Levine on him, Butler spins, nothing there, Butler! It's just a great move, able to step through on Levine, and then take the contact from Vucevic, and finish. Great matchup, great defender, great playmaker. Butler gives it up, Max Strews for 3! And now he's trying to send the Bulls home, 12-1 run for the Heat. Levine goes quick, blocked by Adebayo! Great block here by Adebayo, and you gotta love what damn Adebayo has done tonight. Because it's been a rough night for him offensively. At the end of the year, those guys haven't played a game in quite a while. Look for Miami to have a great shot in game 1 in Milwaukee. That's it, the Miami Heat. They will advance, they will occupy the 8th seed as they come out of the play-in. And now they will take on the top seed, the Milwaukee Bucks. Onto the coombo, just right down, and drives into Love. And Yanis is hurt. And Yanis... I think he's holding them back. He is. Gets up very slowly, Lopez with it, he traveled. And Hero is holding on to his hand. He is in trouble, he's on his way back to the locker room. He ran right to the locker room. Rebound chased and saved by Lopez and intercepted by Robinson. Lowry to Butler, and Butler pulls up over Holiday. 39, shot clock at 9. Middleton with Butler sliding right into it. With Yanis there. It's a 2. 46 points for Jimmy Butler. He's gonna get an easy lay-in. This is the one they call a long 2 for Butler. So that's why you attack early here. Score is correct. Yanis with the ball. One seed is on the brink of elimination. And Jimmy Butler a 56 point performance in this game 4. Didn't take any of the fakes to finish it off with a defensive rebound. Textbook. He's inside again and one. Oh wow. These Miami Heat will not go away. Adebayo brings it up. Butler on the wing over Holiday. Got it. Jimmy Butler. Here we go. Hyland delivers. Here comes Vincent. But you can't do as fast. Over Matthews and good. Wow. Gabe Vincent. Big shot from Gabe. He's got 22, that's a post-season career high. Oh they turned it over. Lowry had it and he lost it. I think the foul's on Middleton. They called a foul on Lowry. I think that's the way it's supposed to be. The defender gets his hand on the ball and deflects it away. This is a legal defensive play by Kyle Lowry. The challenge is successful. Buck sees it on the line. Oh my god. And he lost it. Into the seats saved him. We're back to Drew Holiday. You okay Buck? Came right over at us. And right here Giannis didn't want to get fouled. So he hopitated it at Middleton with the play of the game. Which was a save. Has to be great. Over the top. To Butler. Over the line. What's going on is Jimmy Butler. And overtime. In game five. Jimmy Butler runs a little bit of a circle cut. Looks like he's going to go to the corner. Circles back and it's a lob play. But he couldn't keep it in bounds. It's back to Miami. Inside Zeller. With the flush. And that was all off the Jimmy Butler cut. Two point game. Butler steps in front. Middleton. Allen has it. Down the lane. He's out of time. The Bucks don't get off the shot. And the Miami Heat become the sixth in NBA history to win as an eighth seed in the first round. Trying to ice it and send him to the baseline. He gets to the middle. Whistle. Foul. And did he turn his ankle on that? Boy we hope not. But he's holding his lower right leg. And Butler. It appeared as if he turned it Doris. Saw that happen in real time. And this does not look good. For Miami. Here's Lowry. Seven on the shot clock. They gotta get to work. Off the Adebayo screen. Tough baseline. Got it! Come on. Kyle Lowry the veteran. And finished that even though it was a difficult shot inside. One point game. Nicks in front. Randle. Backing in. Off the double team. Jumper. Hart. Splash! Kicks it out. Quickly. Short on the three. Got his own miss. Puts it back up and in. Great hustle by Lowry. And contact under the basket. Tempers Flair. Which we expected at some point in this series. Security gets on the floor. Eric Spoelstra out there as well. Peeling his player Cody Martin away from Hardenstein. Now Tom Thibodeau has walked down court. See also that Zeller was in that. Grimes trying to fight through that Martin screen. Butler. Kick. Martin. Drive. And slam! Caleb Martin! This is not a replay over and over again. It's the same story. Butler! Gets to the rim! 1.12 to go. Butler traps. Finds Vinson. Vinson on the attack. And a bio! Brunson to inbound. Gets it to Randle. Gets it right back. Brunson. Bounces underneath. And Harden lays it in. It's a two point game. Do not want to give up a three at any cost. Brunson. Spinning. Brunson. Vinson. Leaning. Shoveling into traffic. He turns it over. Brunson turns it over. And Butler is fouled. Struis gets it ahead. Here is Vinson. And that is it. The Miami Heat have done it yet again. They are headed back to the Eastern Conference Finals. By five threes, that just doesn't happen to the Celtics. Adebayo matching his way into Horford. Shot clock at three. Butler with Brogdon on him. It's a long three. And good! Jimmy freaking Butler puts it in. And that will be number three. Shot clock running down. And it's the Butler who did it. Wow. Touches every inch of that rim. Williams defends Butler. The gyration and the two in the foul. And they're having words. Look at this. Oh yeah. Eye to eye. The shot made by Williams. And look at the words already. Williams and Jimmy Butler are smiling about it. And then here's the contact at the ensuing play. And let's go head to head, guys. Thank you. And the New York Knicks in the second round. Butler will take it into the defense of Grant Williams. Shot clock at four. Here he accelerates and finds two. Uh-oh. And gave him the too small sign. Adebayo screened. Williams the defensive assignment. This is what he wants. Inside for the lead. He got it. That's what he wants. Grant Williams on him. Shot clock at three. Butler will chisel. And missing. Adebayo. It's Gabe Vinson. Setting up two-point shot. Not Jimmy Butler. Not Bam Adebayo. But Gabe Vinson. Are you kidding me? It's Butler. On the contact in the potential and one. Great job against the zone, though. Getting the ball to Tatum right there at the rail. And then a great defensive play. Right there in the lane. On the baseline. Brown off that baseline. Good feed by Horford. That affects everything. Tatum. He'll put up a three. Got it. And he knew there was no way that Vinson was going to be able to contest that shot. It has never happened, as we've mentioned multiple times. A team coming back down three games to none. In an NBA playoff series. We can't stress enough. Four of the last five times Boston's been in Miami's building. They have won, coach. Four-point game less than a minute to go. Hatchets his way inside. They will defend Tatum. Shot clock at four. Tatum. Inside. Lost it. Got it. Rejected by Adebayo. Backed away Robinson on the drive by Smart. Butler has scored two of the last 12 points for Miami. To unpack here on this play by Jimmy Butler. Certainly there's contact in the foul by Al Horford. It was called a two on the floor. But look at the feet of Butler. Clearly, in my opinion, he's behind the three-point line. This should be three free throws. Butler is also behind the three-point line at the time of the foul. Four to play. Tatum. White will inbound. It's off the smoke for the seventh game. As it sounded, fight was on. It'll be reviewed. I don't think he got that in in time. Great effort by Derek White. And didn't I say you have to protect the offensive rebounder. Oh, he got rid of it. That's a Celtic win, and we're going to game seven. The Celtics are going to win. And there's a game seven back in Boston. Really on the floors. Good basket. The play is under review. It's a drive by Martin. Horford was in the way. Shot clock at six. Twisting, turning, shooting. Got it. I think Jason Tatum's switch on it. Jimmy Butler's got to understand what's going on and go after Jason Tatum on that switch. Or get it to the guy who's been the most consistent scorer in this series, Caleb Martin. Butler with Tatum defending. Outside. Martin makes the fake Williams bit for three. Martin drives right at Tatum. Two to fire. Away and down it goes. Players need to make adjustments as much as coaches do. And Jimmy Butler did. Turnover. Butler at the other end. Defense to offense. Transition. Timeout. The Boston Celtics in the lead for Miami grows. Only after they have won three straight games to start this series. So, as a game seven, they stand eye to eye with history and they did not blink. The Heat are going to the NBA Finals.
