We Really Did Leave the UK again! (not clickbait)

I don't even know what to say. Fingers crossed, fingers crossed this is take two. If you have no idea what we're talking about my co-host Lucy will explain. Brilliant, oh okay. Okay the star of the show, I'm the co-host really. Thank you, I'm doing my tiptoes because you've done this perfectly for your head but I'm like down here. Welcome back to another vlog, today is take two of our trip. We are traveling somewhere very exciting in a couple of hours from now and we did this exact morning. Hopefully. This time last week. Yes if you missed the vlog. The flight got cancelled. All the way to the airport, flight got cancelled because of this insane crazy storm which never happened. A bit of rain. A little bit of rain that cancelled the flight. Anyway we moved on from that, we had a nice week. I think we've gotten over it but I'm not sure. Yeah we were moaning in the vlog saying how annoyed we were. So take two, we've packed up the car, Koda's having a nap. We're trying to transfer him from the cot into the car, probably unsuccessfully, he will wake up and then drive to the airport. So take two, wish us luck, give the video a thumbs up for good luck. Yes please do. First flight since my birthday trip and this is kind of, it's somewhere very hot. We asked you guys to comment and get your guesses in. You will see in this video where we end up but I'm very much looking forward to it. I haven't been to this country for many many years, we've never been together. Probably never been. And a lot of you guys have got it right in the comments. So that was you, give yourself a little pack on the back. Okay we've made it into the airport which is actually a lot further than we got last time so so far so good. We are at the south terminal. This flight is delayed by four minutes currently. But is that a sign that it's about to get worse? No let's be positive. I always watch other people's travel vlogs and they're like all excited to go into the airport and say there's no delays and then so many times you watch the video and they're delayed, they're in a hotel overnight at the airport. Don't say it, just stop, don't put that out there. Stop the words coming out of your mouth and it won't happen. So we're all ready to go. We're actually packed fairly lightly. We've got one big suitcase, Coda's little nappy bag thing and then one rucksack and that is it. Oh and this is a little bag just for the passports and stuff to keep on my person. We've also got a piece of carry-on luggage which has got a very very handy laptop section that is just super smooth. The zips are lovely on these as well, they're really high quality. And yeah we have been very fussy with the luggage we've used over the years because of what we do and how much we travel. You need reliable pieces. Yeah we need very very high quality stuff and this ticks every box. Very very happy with these. Also one feature I like personally, when they first arrived I was like Lucy this is gonna be quite hard to identify on the conveyor belt of luggage when you pick up your bags. Should we have got a different colour? Should we not have got black? However look at this. Yellow wheels. Coda what's this? Wheel yeah look yellow little logos on the wheels. Yeah I didn't expect you to speak for that long while I was picking up that 24 kilogram piece of luggage. Yeah and as Lucy said the handle on the front genius. I don't know why every suitcase doesn't have that, it's so much better to carry. So thanks to Level 8 for sponsoring. That would be it, I think we're trying to part the country so let's go. Bag dropped, two hours till we fly. Yeah it's expensive at airports. We just picked up some expensive sushi. Yeah that's true. We wanted something healthy-ish to grab and go so we've got some, I don't know what that is, dragon roll I think. I've got some salmon and then like this kind of chicken and rice bowl thing they do as well. So 20 minutes until the board is announced. The board is announced? How do you say it? 20 minutes until the gate is announced. I don't know. 20 minutes until they tell us where we have to go. Yeah then we'll be on the flight. No more delays though. So far so good guys. All good. Finally we make it to Greece. We are in Greece guys. This is so exciting. If you guessed Greece, congratulations you win a shout out on the vlog coming now. Shout out to you. So we were supposed to be here a week ago and it's taken a whole week for us to get to Greece. Can you believe that? Quicker to get to Asia. So we have just checked into our hotel here. We're staying at the trip by Wyndham Corfu Dacia. So we're right in Dacia beach. I think I'm saying that right. And we're on this little trip working with the hotel. So we are here collaborating with this hotel. Very happy to be here. We're doing some cool YouTube and Instagram stuff for them and yeah we get to experience that. We get to experience how cold their ice is in Greece. We get to experience the hotel. So tomorrow we're going to check out the beach. We're going to check out some delicious Greek food. We're going to check out the next day. I think we're going into the old town. So we're going to vlog all of this. We've got some very fun plans while we're here. And they've surprised us. They brought these to our door. Koda's having his milk. We think he's getting to sleep. It's quite late. Right now it's quarter past 11 in the evening here but UK time it's quarter past nine which is about two and a half hours after Koda's bedtime. So he's done incredibly well today. He did open the taxi door on the road on the way here. Yeah let's not talk about that. Let's not talk about that. If our parents are watching then your mum is not going to like hearing that if she's watching this vlog. He was secure but the door was not. Yeah it was safe but the door did open. The taxi driver was like can we not? Anyway. Really sorry sir. Anyway pink or white? I'm gonna have the white. So I'm gonna crack open this. So guys juicy vlog. Back out on the road. Eurotour. It's not a Eurotour. We're just coming to Greece and then going back home to England. Cheers. So we are we are going to pick up the camera tomorrow morning. So we will see you then. Cheers. So just a very sneak peek off of the balcony. I don't know who else is on their balcony right now and it's quite late so I'm not going to shout but that is the pool. That is the moon. There's palm trees and there's little cricket noises. It's super tropical and I haven't been to Greece. I thought that was like a giant lizard on the ceiling but it's actually my shadow. Apparently I look like a lizard. I haven't been to Greece since I was... I came here when my parents were still together and they got divorced when I was like 10. So I was like 8 maybe? 8 or 9. I'm actually so excited to be here and Greek food is one of my favourites and they're about to bring up some food for us now so very excited for that. Okay scrap that. We are not putting the camera down yet because they just bought some dinner in for us. We actually missed the regular restaurant dinner because our flight landed so late and they said oh we'll bring a few bits up to you and we were expecting I don't know like some I don't know some bread maybe a bit of salad I don't know. This is like they bought us like a fine dining meal. This is insane. They said they'll bring out some cold plates and I thought firstly they're just going to bring our dinner cold but they've actually prepared all of this for us. So this is Greek gyros. These are like vegetarian patties. Beetroot puree potatoes. This is sea bass. This is like a tart with eggplant salad and I think he said I think they're anchovies as well. A nice fresh salad there. An orange pie. Another dessert with almonds. How excited. We are basically in Greece for the food let's be honest and the weather and the people are so friendly here as well. George why have you never seen this? What is it? That is so cool. England could never be this cool. Extra virgin olive oil in a little bottle. Oh nice nice. That is so cool. I'm literally always drizzling my food with extra virgin olive oil. That's your thing. I need these in my bag. I need like a handbag full of these and just like get on the stuff all the time. Breakfast lunch and dinner. Yeah. By the way if the camera is a little bit flickery I think it's just because of these cool lights that we have in the hotel room and the camera. I'm gonna have to change a few settings. It doesn't quite know what to do with them. That's our problem. You guys don't need to worry about that. It's vlogger issues. So we're gonna tuck into this. Have a little glass of sparkling wine. Coda's asleep. We can finally relax and we will see you in a moment. Okay so I've got Coda's breakfast. On the go we've got loads of fruit. A little pancake, some eggs, some buttered toast and some porridge. Got some more. The mores are out. What do we want? This one. Oh and some cheese. It's lots of cheeses. I'll go and I'll get George to quickly show you the buffet in a second but it's a really nice choice and our coffees are here so the day can truly begin. Would you like a little shirt? That is what we need guys after a very long travel day yesterday. I don't think you can say that George. You can't say that. We had an hour longer than usual but compared to like when we go to Asia and where's the furthest we've been? Philippines I guess. Japan maybe. But not in one go. Japan's the furthest away from here. Yeah any flight now under six seven hours feels like nothing so here we are waking up in Greece in paradise. Got my black coffee on the go. Everyone is so nice here like I've had so many conversations. The staff are super friendly. They all helped out. Again Coda in his high chair. We've got so many options for breakfast. I've gone a little bit crazy The good thing is there's a gym at this hotel so we're going to both get in the gym but I've got some potatoes. I've got a lot of different egg things. I've got a special omelette. There's a lot in there. Mushrooms, peppers, spinach, scrambled egg, bacon, eggs, toast. They've also got things like there's an authentic greek spinach pie up there. There's some like little greek sweets. I'm going to try one after. It looks it kind of looks like I don't know yeah it looked like massive jelly babies is what it looked like. So we're going to enjoy our breakfast here. We decided to stay indoors because it's a little bit warm outside. We could have sat outdoors but after breakfast we're going to go for a little walk around. We're going to get in a pool today. The sun is shining. In England you get some with sun when you sit inside it's a bit hot. Yeah I know that's the funny thing. Usually everyone in England around June, July, August escapes the cold English summer because we only usually get 22 degrees, 23, 25 at a push so usually we're trying to escape the UK to get some heat, get some sun. However in the UK lately we've been having weather of 29, 30 degrees. It's been pretty hot so it kind of just feels the same here so it's a bit weird but anyway going to finish up the breakfast, have some coffee. Very nice that's a strong black coffee.
