The LNL210 Kit from LockNLube features eight quick-connect adapters, allowing access to hard-to-reach grease fittings.
The kit includes:
Simple 90° Adapter—This unit features a smaller barrel size, allowing access into a smaller port above the Zerk fitting. Push-On 90° Adapter: This adapter provides access to the fitting from the side when there is limited clearance above the top of the fitting, but the side is accessible. The opening on the side allows the adapter to be slid down on the fitting until it seats. Then, grease can be pumped in.
90° Grease Coupler Adapter - When there is some clearance above the fitting but it can’t be approached straight-on, this adapter works well and has a knurled adjustment ring to help grip the fitting.
Narrow Needle Regular - used to depress the ball in a Zerk fitting and inject grease - medium length.
Narrow Needle XL: This is used to depress the ball in a Zerk fitting and inject grease. It is longer to allow better reach to hard-to-reach fittings.
Grease Injector Needle - used to grease sealed bearings, the needle is sharp and narrow, allowing you to dispense grease into a sealed bearing without leaving a large hole in the boot.
Recessed (Cup) Extension—for hard-to-reach narrow spaces, the recess on the end of the extension matches the curvature of the top of the grease fitting. This allows you to approach the fitting from an angle and still get grease into it while pushing hard against it while pumping grease.
Seal-Off Adapter: This adapter applies grease where there is no grease fitting. Chainsaw tips sometimes have only an access port, and this adapter allows you to pump grease into the tip sprocket.
The kit has a ripstop case that can be rolled up and secured to keep the tools clean. Case grommets allow you to hang the kit and easily access the tools.
Each tool features a Zerk fitting on the back for easy connection and release from LockNLube (as well as traditional) grease couplers. The tools have a one-year warranty against all defects.
Like other LockNLube tools, these are well-made and offer good value for the kit price (at the time of our filming) of $75. You can receive free shipping by signing up for their email list.
We also reviewed LockNLube’s LNL153 heavy-duty pistol grip grease gun with hose swivel, 10,000 PSI grease coupler, 20” (51cm) hose, and storage nib to keep the hose controlled and give a place to hang the gun. Check it out here:
Dear Farmer J from deer farmerj.com.
When it comes to keeping equipment
maintained around your yardscape or your
shop or just the grounds there, you're
going to run into fittings that are
really tough to reach to get grease into
them. Well, Lock and Lube has come up
with a great set I'm going to tell you
all about. Stick around.

Hey, Dirt Farmer J here from dirt
farmerj.com.
Part of good ownership of grounds and
maintenance and home is just keeping
things maintained. And if you've got
even a moderate amount of power
equipment, whether they're lawnmowers,
compact tractors, a trailer, even your
vehicles, all of them at some point or
other are going to benefit by regular
maintenance of putting grease in the
fittings there. Well, unfortunately,
some of those grease fittings are hard
to reach. They may be shrouded. that may
be close to something else where you
can't get a standard grease gun uh
coupling onto it or it may be way deep
down in a recess where you can't quite
reach it. Lock and Lube who makes a
really great grease gun that you can
actually check out where we did a review
there by checking out the link above and
we'll have it in the description below.
But they've also come out with their LNL
210 quick connect uh greasing accessory
kit. eight different pieces for all
sorts of situations. I'm going to walk
you through this very quickly, what each
one of these do and why they may be of
benefit to you. All right, let's walk
through the kit here. First of all, it
comes in this rip stop pouch, nylon
pouch that makes it a really nice tool
roll. That way, everything has its own
pocket. I've taken them out here, but
there's eight different tools, eight
different pockets. It all rolls up. Or
if you're the kind that likes to display
it, it actually has some nice grommeting
here that you could put on a pegboard or
hold it in some other way. Either by the
tool site or in your workshop so you
know where all these accessories are.
The first thing I need to point out on
all of these accessories is they all
have a zer fitting right in the back
here that allows a grease coupler. And
if you're using lock and lubes grease
coupler, the kind that's got grippers
around it, it'll lock on and hold up to
10,000 PSI, but now it'll hold on to
each one of these. So each of these
accessories all have a zer type fitting
on the back. Now, let's start over on
your left and work across to your right.
As we look over here, these three right
here all address the issue of where uh
either the Xer is turned in 90° to you
or there's something close to the top of
the Xer where you can't get a standard
inline connection and you've got to come
from the side. So, let's look at each
one of these. The first one right here
is a shrouded down in the bottom is the
area where you connect your other grease
gun to. And then you turn 90° if there's
a reasonable amount of space here. And
then this nurled ring allows you to
loosen up, get around the zer fitting,
and then tighten down. You only need
about a half to no more than a full
turn. Don't unscrew that. If you do, all
the parts are going to fly out of it and
then you got a mess. So just a slight
turn till you can get around it.
Sometimes it'll hold right by itself or
you can tighten back up. Now you can
pump in grease from the side into the
fitting. So, that's solution number one.
Solution number two, uh, is just a
straight on. Again, you have a zer type
fitting right here.
And this goes just straight on. Uh, so
that if you needed to come from the side
now, you can come up here and get over
to the fitting. So, that gives you
another 90°.
This is a really interesting one. If you
have no clearance and this is really up
against something tight right here, you
could simply take this, slide this in
until it bottoms out and clicks. And now
inject grease in the top and that's
going to flow into the zer fitting. Now
that covers our 90° approaches, but
let's suppose that you need to just
reach to the zer fitting and it's
recessed or hard to get to. There's
objects around. It's in a collar made in
a PTO on a tractor, something like this.
where you have two short uh needle type
fillers that again you would put on the
back edge on this xer your grease
coupling to your grease gun. And this
one's the short one. And what you would
do, let's suppose this is the xer on
your machine. It just gets pointed right
there and then depresses into the little
ball bearing in the xer and then you're
going to pump grease into it. If you
need more reach, then you can go from
the regular to the extended length one.
And you can see you get that far back in
again. The point just simply gets put
into the zer fitting right there at the
ball bearing. Push. You can feel it
give. Pump it full and then extract and
you're ready to go. Now, our next one's
an interesting one, and that is what if
there is no xer fitting? A common place
this happens is let's say the sprocket
at the nose of a chainsaw. There may be
a little hole right there, but there's
not a nib there that would probably that
would get in the way of cutting. So,
this kind of fitting right here where it
the grease comes right out. There's just
a tapered rubberized really tough tip on
it. You put that in the hole, pump it
full of grease, and uh you're done with
that. Now, here's a really interesting
one. You run into a sealed bearing uh
that's got a boot around it, but you
know that it could benefit with grease.
It's dried out even though it was
supposed to be where you never supposed
to grease it. Well, this right here,
you'll notice, actually has a cover on
it because that right there is a very
sharp needle that you would puncture the
boot, uh, pump it full of grease after
you connect it right here, extract it.
It leaves a very small hole that's not
going to allow a lot of contaminants or
the grease to come back out. And then
again, you want to cover that and put it
away. You do not want to leave that out
without the cover on it. Here's our last
one here. And this one's an interesting
one. You at the end here, you can see a
dimple that matches the shape of a zer.
So, you would simply put it over. And
what's the advantage of this? Why not
use the other ones? Well, because of the
dish shape and the dish somewhat of the
xer, it allows you to come at a slight
angle like that at different angles to
pump that fitting full of grease. uh and
a reasonable reach to do so. So, between
these eight solutions, it's likely that
you'll be able to get grease where it
needs to go. I think Lock and Lube has
done a great job with this set of tools.
They really know their stuff, and the
quality is very nice. If you'd like to
check out the grease gun, their
signature grease gun that has our
patented grease coupler and swivel,
check out this video where we did a
review on that tool. Take a look and see
if the lock and lube grease gun is a
great solution for you. We think you're
going to like what you see. Hey, thanks
for joining me today. It's time to go
maintain some equipment.
