So earlier this week I visited the Danish eco-friendly skincare brand Meraki in their show lab.
I just want to say that this video is not sponsored or anything,
I'm just head over heels for their concept and I really want to share it with you all.
Meraki is a Danish eco-friendly skincare brand which focus on natural ingredients.
So the products are free from all sorts of things like parabens and color
and they contain only natural fragrance.
Not all of them but the ones that do have fragrance have natural fragrance.
Also I'm a huge fan of the all-around aesthetics and design of the products
which are super Scandinavian and minimal.
I mean you can just tell that these products have been made with love and consideration
and that's quite a statement I think.
As a person who has both experienced stress and anxiety I'm really drawn to the whole universe
and the overall message that Meraki was sharing with me and the rest of the group.
Especially the idea of no quick fix which basically means that good things take time.
I'm trying to do all sorts of things like regular mindfulness exercising
but also just treating myself with simple pleasures like clean sheets, a nice hot foot bath,
like we got to experience at the event or other things that slows down my mind.
Many of their products are multi-purpose products and that's one of the reasons why
I'm really inspired by their concept.
Because why buy a ton of different products for different purposes
when you can use just a few that covers all sorts.
Also the products that do contain some sort of natural fragrance seriously
smells like a day at the spa and it kind of has an immediate calming effect on you.
So after visiting Meraki I feel even more inspired to live minimalistic in other areas of my life.
I also just bought a book about zero waste and I seriously can't wait to read it because
there are just so many ways to reduce our consumption that I have yet to experience
and I really want to share this journey with you all.
On that note I'm already a huge fan of the Pure Oil from Meraki because again
it's a multi-purpose product for the entire family.
You can use it to remove makeup, on dry skin, as nail treatment, in your hair,
when you're taking a bath, you name it.
So bringing this type of product into my beauty collection has already eliminated
like four other products that I would have bought otherwise for all these purposes.
So I'm fully inspired to go through the rest of my skincare and beauty products
just to see where I can narrow down my consumption even more.
Anyway this was a different kind of video.
I really hope you guys enjoyed it.
So take care and I hope to see you all in the next one.
Bye guys!
