Life Update! We've Been Gone for Too Long

hey it's the boo what are you doing say good morning thank you it was on the Ed wow big mess boy right there look at this yummy breakfast don't you rip off that bacon are you eating it yeah he oh you like it off say that's beef bacon right there baby say beef bacon baby I more beef bacon did you eat your B what are you doing you didn't you deconstructed your sandwich I don't want to add in it I'm talking about woo careful it's hot you can't stand the heat oh get up kitchen okay does Tyler like the [Music] the nice thing about this is that we actually made the waffles two days ago John made Belgian waffles for breakfast so made up the waffle batter for dinner it was dinner made the waffle batter kept the leftovers in this bowl in the fridge and it's amazing cuz then for breakfast I don't have to worry about the waffles or making the batter but this is like one of our favorite breakfast because it covers sweet Savory like everything right all of it all in one get protein you get carbs oh no that's right Cohen's going to have to share some of this there's protein in the eggs but there's also um we put protein powder like Snicker doodle protein powder in the uh waffle batter so it's like just loaded with all the good proteiny stuff well not on oh baby that's mine yeah I give you a smaller waffle cuz you got all that bacon all about that bacon about that bacon this woman could start should start a restaurant I don't remember eating it you're welcome all right our breakfast is over um the girls the older girls are doing their chores which include cleaning up breakfast they clean up the dining room and the kitchen which is such a blessing to me after making a meal sometimes like usually the last you want to do is clean it up so it's really nice to have girls that are old enough to chip in and help out so they do that I came out to check on the animals um this is our calf his name is brisket he is a steer calf a jersey steer calf and then we have Ivy nope and we have Ivy and Juniper they are Nubian goats that we will hopefully be breeding this fall for babies in the spring and then they will be milk goats um and then Canyon he's our good old boy that's the daddy to all our puppies he is super sweet um he is a livestock Guardian dog that's why he is out here that's why he's with the goats they are actually so bonded to him that if if we take him out of the fence for a walk or just to hang out um they will cry they will cry and cry and actually 2 days ago when we were moving our fencing we rotate this netting around our property so that they get fresh grass every day we were moving it he jumped out and then the goats followed and he went all the way up the street down the road um to a friend's house and the goats followed him the whole way there so oh here's honey bear she's the mama dog to all of her puppies and she is currently in our backyard um there's all her babies they're separated from her separated her from her because they're we and I'm going to walk around and show you guys them cuz they've gotten so big and so cute and they are pretty much ready to go to their new homes um livestock Guardian dogs I think is better for them to be with their parents till 10 to 12 weeks is they just get um just some extra time to learn manners to kind of see their parents interacting so our plan is to move the puppies in with the goats so they get some exposure to livestock uh before they go to their new homes it also takes them a lot longer to fully mature it's usually about 2 years old for great pyes so that little bit of extra time they're essentially still like babies hi buddies hi buddies you want me to come in there don't touch the fence hi buy hi oh my goodness hi oh you're making me a mess hold on don't chew my dress oh my goodness it's like puppy overload in here what do you think anyway it's going to be sad to see them go um but it's been so sweet to like just get to see the kids L on on all the puppies and experience that all right you guys doing school everyone in here working on math math math you're waiting for me [Music] [Applause] moving right along to moving fencing for the animals we have uh this electric movable fencing this net so it allows us to take our animals and move them them to Fresh grass every day without them ere eting over grazing a certain area and then we can go all the way and circle back to the beginning and it's given the grass in the first Paddock time to grow back so it allows us to keep them and give them a lot more forage than if we if we just had a big open fence they would go and eat what they wanted leave certain things that are still nutritious but there may be picky and then they don't eat where they poop so they would waste a lot of the forage but when you make them go in a smaller area at the time they eat a lot more of what's good for them and it gives it time to all recover it also cuts down on parasites which nobody wants we want to have some shade for the animals that are going to be in this section here as you can see this is a nice shaded area but it was overgrown with thorns and thickets and thistles and bristles and brussles and muscles we're going to finish up this part right here and then we can set the fence up and let the animals come and eat there you're hoping to have a brush hog to come through and just knock it all down but that wasn't a possibility right now so instead we're using our second best Toro 60 volt us that I feel like more than anything else on our property this one or the other well both like the hedge trimmers yeah we use that we do a lot by hand around here and it is harder and it takes longer but sweating is good for you it helps you detox and it's building care character right mm he rememberers that keep going [Music] Dad okay so this was all you couldn't even get back there before like from here all around all grown up and over and now you can see through [Music] it Dad will you please move that tire for me I can't out here Ty oh that reminds me of my new song called out here out now on all streaming platforms go check it out here's a little bit of it Road yeah go check it out Link's in the
