Family Day Out in Alabang!

to it now yeah I know it's right over there somewhere I can't remember where oh yeah I can see the signs so so different to UK roads this was possibly a bad idea today good morning guys welcome back to another video we hope you're doing well we've just for the first time driven onto slex and as you can probably see behind me we are no longer driving we are in standstill traffic uh we wanted to do this on a weekday because we thought the place we're going would be less busy we didn't consider the weekday traffic might be a bad idea but today we are heading to one of our favorite places in Manila I would say but it's in a different area it is in Manila right is it still Metro Manila why do we not know why have I forgotten everything since we've last been here I was saying I was thinking about this earlier with the amount of oh you want my sleeve you can have my sleeve that's fine it's got a little hand coming in he wants everything that I've got even my clothes since being here there's so much that we need to get used to again and so much we need to adjust to even things like how we speak not how we speak but what we say because would you like this one wow your days are singing oh you got hiccups for example I asked to use a toilet the other day and I said CR again and I haven't [Music] biggest smile on his face [Applause] [Music] yeah I said CR and I thought I would never say CR in England and it's just funny that you get back east of things quite quickly so I don't know if you saw that but there was a plane no a plane there was a digger on the road blocking the entire Road and that's what the traffic was it was just for the airport Lane and we're back we're going we're good [Music] foreign [Music] anything today no breakfast yet so I mean it is 2PM but we're still a little bit on the UK time zone thing so we're adjusting slowly but our first stop hat to be looking at this way our first stop hat to be Bungalow Cafe and Bakery one of our favorite places used to come here with my canelli all the time they do incredible food incredible pastries oh usually when we're here though in the past we've been I mean Lucy and I always felt pretty healthy so we usually get one small thing or I think this time because we're only going to be here I don't know how many times we're gonna come here so I think we might just go a little bit crazy and get loads [Music] so we have settled in we've got our usual table which is awesome this is where yeah we sit here so many times yeah this is where not this is our table we actually told them outside remember then we came for lunch after at Bungalow when we told Mike canelli that we were having Coda who is having a little nap in his buggy by the way thank you um seemed to be some new menu options as well so Lucy is struggling thanks so much Lucy struggles Lucy struggles ordering places where she knows what she has and wants where the menu doesn't change let alone if there's new things to decide I'm on the Instagram trying to find what looks best yeah for me it's easy I'm gonna get the burger and a chocolate berry smoothie Bowl so sweet and savory and then I think we're gonna have to go and erase the uh cake counter counter on our way out as well we've got a little coffee on the way so life in Alabang is good so far and the drive wasn't too bad honestly last night I was thinking about this drive here this morning because the roads are so different from the UK I got back into it I think I did well I think we did good but driving on EDSA again for the first time in over a year it's just you need to have ordering look at this [Music] that is what we need guys that is what we need whilst we wait for our Burger I just burnt my hands trying to film something for Instagram I did a cheese pull and it was amazing wow this is very good I've got a grilled cheese sandwich it looks delicious it's really really good let's see that I'm not sure how many cheeses there are but look oh wow sorry if you're hungry watching this and here it is the Burger has arrived oh potato bun 100 beef patty cheddar cheese remove the tomatoes yes I still remove the tomatoes guys let's try [Music] thank you wow absolutely delicious oh dear look behind me here comes the Thunder again there's this huge crash of Thunder um I'm sure Lightning's on the way I'm sure rain's back on the way um I'll Focus there you go it's become really humid and sticky again in the air and I think it's about to absolutely tip it down what how are we that quick you disappeared in the view that maybe that's so much um so now we're just gonna walk around the Milito area of Cornelius of Alabang um loads of nice little shops here we don't need any more food and we've got a lot to take home with us yeah the guys actually gave us some extra Cakes and Pastries and things thank you so much to the team at our Bungalow we didn't need to order our own plus get them so much of them yeah so now we're going to take a walk along here and then probably get soaked because it's gonna turn it down I think absolutely I actually don't mind the hair the warm rain I like I enjoy it because it would be down slightly guys who remembers no I'm not having it now but who remembers we came here and tried the sweet ecstasy burger after a lot of you guys said it was one of the best burgers in the Philippines and it was I'm like half tempted to get one and just try and eat it in the car I don't know cool and there's a baker J pop-up here which is awesome we um we came to Baker J on the first couple of days it opened the main one um a few years ago now doesn't feel like that long ago oh does it not yeah I think it does super hot today here yeah Lucia just said it needs to rain so it actually clears the air a little bit Chris oh my God this is weird wait oh my God this is really weird what so that frame there for the Christmas tree being built last time we were here we sat on that bench we told Mike and Nelly we're pregnant it was being built for last year's festivities oh that is so true so now it's we're here again it's being built it's already been up for the whole burner then it's come down again and now it's being put up again it's mad so we like missed most of it happy boy he doesn't mind the mosquito net at all oh we are both soaked luckily we kept Coda dry but just let's see what did I say to you George I literally said I was about to lift coder out the backyard said I think it's about to absolutely come down yeah but like instantly and it did we were about 30 seconds too late of staying dry I'm dripping my back it feels like I've been swimming but huge shout out to this kind gentleman here who actually held the umbrella for part of it as well for George from yes we got a thing okay we're gonna head back now you love the rain have a cozy rainy afternoon often and I think eating some of these things do you like the rain wow amazing do you like the rain tomorrow I've never seen the rain thanks you're welcome oh it's cold now from the AC [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] guys we are back now and wow just stepped down the balcony I actually haven't spent much time out here um since we arrived to be honest um because we don't allow Coda out here for obvious reasons so usually both of us are inside but um oh nice to step out here see the view of the mall which just never gets old never never never gets old and watch some planes come in as you just saw from that little clip you can get some really nice shots here I've got the uh zoom lens on so we can get some nice close-ups which is a lot of fun the drive home from Alabang was very very very rainy but really nice to go over there today so nice to see the guys at Bungalow that was awesome really enjoyed that and I think the plan now is to get some editing done with daily vlogging again which we are not used to at all um so it is yeah we're trying to manage the extra hours in the day that we need to accomplish that we
