Is She Having a Calf?!

remember what's up guys um how are you today first of all how are you hope you're doing well we're doing good here we're on cow watch still calf watch should be any day I mean it could be today like I mean it's like I'm surprised it went last night I'm about to go out and feed the dogs and the cow and um just go check on her but before I did I wanted to share a book with you guys that I've been reading it's called Atomic Habits by James Clear and if you've read it let me know what you thought about it I'm two chapters into it now it's been really good so far I'm really and especially this last chapter I'm not even really like that into it yet like deep into the book but the thing that's it's covering is like so pivotal things I just didn't think about and could really if you like have some bad habits or you want to make some new habits that are good habits already so pivotal it's been really good I think you should check it out if you're someone who needs to build good consistent habits like myself anyways part of that what I'm trying to do is get up early again I kind of slacked off for a couple months um and also like feed the animals first and get things done so that I have the full day to focus on the family focus on getting work done just whatever else we need to get done instead of like dragging getting up late feeding the kids and feeding the animals later than I wanted to and it's like you know almost half the day's already gone so anyways that's what I'm doing right now to implement some of this stuff so I'm gonna go get after it in Israel he's working on becoming a person who doesn't climb in the fridge he's already figured out this lock here figured that one out in like a day and then we got this which has been working it's just a little like you know it's a little um Clippy whatever they're called clips you know snap it in this one has like a little lock on it so you can't open it when it's pushed over you can't unclip it that's working so far good morning good morning we got those off Amazon let me know if you need the link to that because we will absolutely send it to you because it was so simple and so helpful because those other ones they might work for like a baby baby but they don't work for Israel he's almost too so somehow this garage gets wrecked like every other day you clean it and then kids come in here and build go in Dre are you kidding me bro [Music] yeah look at this kid he just climbed up into the sink to take a sink bath why are you so insane making the absolute best gluten-free pancakes this morning and this flower is the Bob's Red Mill one to one gluten-free flour and if anything I don't know if you saw our Azure video where we did the Azure haul but like if you don't get anything else get the stinking gluten-free flour if you buy that stuff it is significantly cheaper when you buy it in bulk like that it's crazy the price difference thank you yeah you want something here all right I need to tell you about this recipe because we had friends come to visit I'm not gonna name their names um they had just visited some other friends before us those friends said we got the best pancake recipe we're gonna make them for you it's the best pancake recipe ever they said the pancakes were good I made them my pancakes I didn't know about that story beforehand by the way they literally offered this information um unsolicited I didn't say my pancakes are the best I just made them they literally said we've never had better pancakesness we just went to friends and they claimed they had the best pancake recipe that was a lie this is the best pancake recipe I'm just saying it's true you know it's true tell the truth I sometimes people are just really nice no they didn't have to say anything about their friends they could have said all these pancakes are great they didn't have to they didn't have to say our friends said that they had the best pancake recipe sorry no you guys this is the best pancake they didn't have to say that we didn't have to say that I can't I see anything at all okay you want to talk to me tell them how you can't see anything yeah I mean just popping my butt in this chair that my mom bought so my allergies have been like at all time hi this the last how long like a month probably I'm sure that it's because I'm pregnant when you're pregnant your immune system is suppressed to carry the baby and so I feel like that's playing into it but it's been most like my eyes itching and so I've had to where I normally have like the 30 day contacts and don't have to take them out a lot I'm having to like take them out a lot let me get my eyelids a break so I can't actually see anything without them I'm very like I'm very nearsighted uh so everything's a blur so I'm just like sitting here hanging out because if I get up and walk around a lot it's like a little bit dizzying to not be able to see last night I started like coughing and could not stop and like so much just stuff out of nowhere was coming up I'm like I feel like I'm drowning in whatever uh so I don't know what's going on but I think like I woke up really stuffy I think it always happens after like a storm did it rain last night I don't know I don't know but all of a sudden it's like sinus pressure like crazy I'm stuffy I'm coughing up stuff and I'm just ready to be like so we're cold to the worst I could handle getting sick in the winter because it's expected but I never get sick in the winter and I don't feel sick I'm just like stuffy and I can't see anything so it's kind of like I'm gonna just chill here for a few minutes how to Pancake therapy I'm just kidding they're really good yeah they are they're Banana Pancakes so if you don't like banana you don't put banana in it yeah the recipe doesn't even have bananas I added the banana I like the banana I do too that's depth to the flavor situation there's three here thank you and our dishwasher still doesn't work and that's okay we've gotten used to washing dishes by hand our kids have been helping wash dishes by hand we're getting a good system going here so it's it's getting to a point where it's like I don't even think we missed the dishwasher anymore I was teaching some some lights it's teaching life skills and it's teaching us to be a little more disciplined because it's an atomic habit and it's an atomic habit see is it not teaching you right now I'm about to do these dishes there's only a few in here but we're just knocking them out right away get them done so there's nothing to clean so there's not big plates piling up breakfast is over pancakes are good kids ate them and bailed they bailed they should be doing the dishes but I'm gonna do them right now because they've been doing a really good job of keeping up with them we have one of them usually in the morning wash um another one puts them away uh that were maybe out from the night before they got washed then a different child will wash them in the evening we try to kind of keep up with it through the day there you go Elena watched them twice yesterday on Tyler Washington three times I don't know how we had that many dishes to do but we did little bits at a time we do a little bit of time it's like simple it doesn't feel overwhelming so that's what we are working towards and what I feel like we've gotten down fairly decently so [Music] okay guys it could be go time it could be go time for the cow all these lights are on down here why is it always this and I'm like totally that dead but it makes sense to be that dead like why do we have all these lights on in the house turn the lights off come on anyways it might be go time for Little Miss Eden outside who we've been waiting to have her calf for days oh man look at this the kids cleaned out the front patio and look how many shoes are out here there's a lot of them there's a lot of people in this house let's go check some cow pins um look
