Hey it's Hourstriker and today we're going to take a look at the Tudor Black Bay 68. This is a quick
overview and a full review can be found on our website at hourstriker.com slash reviews.
There's a link in the description down below. This watch is crafted out of stainless steel
and has a case diameter of 42 millimeters. With the overhang of the bezel it is 42.5 millimeters.
It's 51.5 millimeters lug to lug and you can see on my 7.25 inch wrist. It has a lug width of
22 millimeters. Case thickness is 13.8 millimeters and it weighs 174 grams
on the stainless steel bracelet. You have a dome sapphire crystal with an reflective coating on it.
Underneath is the sunbrush Tudor blue dial. The hour markers are applied and you basically have
a triangle at 12, 3, 6, and 9 are rectangles and then you have the rest of the hour markers are
circles. You have the usage of the Tudor snowflake hand for the hour and then all of the
hour markers and hands glow green in low light. You have Tudor branding at 12 along with 200
meters and master chronometer and Swiss made at 6. Go ahead and take it off and I'll show you
more of the watch including the bezel and the back of the case. Tudor uses a matte black ceramic
bezel on this watch. It's unidirectional 60 clicks to do a full rotation. The only loomed
point on this bezel is at 12 o'clock. That little circle there glows green to match the hour
markers and the hands. You can see the case is brushed on top and on the side is polished.
On the right hand side you have a screw-down crown with the Tudor logo on it. With the screw-down
crown you get 200 meters of water resistance. When you unscrew the crown you can manually wind
the movement in the resting position. Since there is no date on this watch there's only
one crown position which allows you to set the time. You flip the watch around. It's a very
straightforward case back. Only engravings are about the manufacturer caliber movement and also
you have the case and serial numbers engraved on here as well. The bracelet tapers down to 16
millimeters at the T-flip clasp. This clasp uses a flip lock to lock the clasp in place. Once it's
unlocked you can then open it up and this watch has micro adjustments. It's basically pulled down
on the bracelet. You can slide it out up to seven millimeters. You can also see this is a three
link bracelet. The top of this is brushed just like the case and the sides are polished as well
just like the sides of the case. This movement behind the screw-down case back is a manufacturer
made. The model number is MT5601-U. It's Swiss made, automatic, runs at four hertz, has 70 hours of
power reserve. On our time grapher it showed an accuracy of zero seconds per day which is pretty
much perfect. The functions are hours, minutes, and seconds. The Black Blade 68 retails for $4,850.
I just want to go ahead and thank Tudor for sending us this watch. If you want to see more videos just
