Preparing to LEAVE OUR COUNTRY (Travelling Again!)

[Music] [Music] so [Music] oh good morning guys ah now the day can begin beautiful so one of the coolest things that lucy and i get to do i'm actually going to speak a little bit quietly lucy's kind of getting ready for the day one of the coolest things we get to do with this youtube channel is we feel so lucky and grateful to be able to work with so many amazing brands can you hear coda in the background i've been doing emails lately for the duty vlog i came across an email that came in from a company called lathan they do these amazing looking hair dryers that's koda can you hear him and lucy actually has no idea about this but i went ahead and arranged this to be sent out to us which is it's called swift but the packaging is super nice it actually reminded me of uh packaging from some other brand that i'm not gonna mention um but very very nice packaging this is it so it arrived i managed to sneak this into the flat without lucy knowing and i thought because lucy right now uses her hairdryer that she had in her old bedroom at home in her mom's house since i've known her the same hair dryer in the bedroom right now is that so a huge thank you quickly to lathan for your hair dryer yeah um i used it yesterday where is it though no oh yeah i was just filming a little bit just welcoming everybody to the vlog welcome to another video do you know we're filming today yeah we're filming today do you want to find your hairdryer yeah all right okay dad funny you should say that because i have a gift for you and that is why the camera's rolling a camera there there's no other cameras as just this one you've bought maybe a hairdryer yes i have cool wow that looks so cool it's really like modern yeah it's like a dyson what do you think it's not dyson it is open it now yeah go for it honestly i've had my old hair dryer for 10 years i know i can't tell you how much i'm i was just saying that is it 10 years that's so cool yeah it's so old okay oh my god this looks amazing can i see it yeah open open it i'll get some scissors wow actually managed yeah i was about to say it is known on this channel that i very rarely managed to get things past lucy i did it this time it has that wow it has that nice packaging feel doesn't it yeah really nice oh it's light as well honestly next time i would hair dryer this is like 3000 years in the future it looks so modern cool okay it feels really nice it's like almost pearlescent it's a really nice material the buttons are nice as well all nice nice buttons perfect you timed that really well you waited until my hair washed i know you filmed it that's what i quickly i was scrambling around this back this camera wasn't even charged yeah like if she's in the shower i need to grab a bathroom but i don't wash my hair every day and you've timed it so that it's a day i'm washing my hair okay that was a flu i did not plan that well no that wasn't i didn't know you didn't wash your hair every day okay should i do it out here i'll try it out here so that you guys can see i don't know i'll try for you i'll try it your hair's dry no i'll do your hair you're not drying my hair why not are you serious yes it's actually so nice i can't believe you're drawing one so it's got it's very simple it's like a t-shaped design i can't even show you hang on is that okay are you you're like my hair your hair stylist for the day it's not gonna go i don't know i can't even let me do this i'm not really going i was actually joking um so okay it's got just two buttons a simple two speeds and then mind your face and then and then three heat levels as well just to demonstrate that okay okay i'm gonna go full power it's supposed to be really like quick drying what are you doing um it's got over current protection and overheating protection as well it's fast drying hair dryer as well i did i did read up on this dude yeah it's a good one all right you better carry on yourself [Music] it's i've just realized it's really hot when you feel it here but my hair's not hot at all how do they do that that's crazy it's really lightweight as well so it's not like 18 sometimes with a hair dryer with hair products and hair straighteners your arm starts to ache after a while off in the air but it's super lightweight [Music] it's really really good and i can actually hear you and you can hear me while i'm drying my hair which never happens yeah we're normally shouting each other when you're drying your hair wow it does look soft yeah it feels soft i'm not going to feel it last time loose did a hair and she said feel like my hairs i started going like that started scrunching it she's like no you stopped scrunching my hair anyway are you yes you're pleased yeah very please thank you okay good managed to give lucy a gift she actually likes not anything we literally had this conversation yesterday about uh we've got quite a lot of family members coming up for birthday presents and things like that and i struggle it's not that i'm not thoughtful but lucy's super thoughtful and i struggled to think of good gift ideas but lucy always comes up with these good ideas so i'm quite quite pleased that i pulled this one off obviously with the help of latham we can also we've got some trips coming up we can also take it away yes because i i want to use it as well i'm actually going to try out koda it has been blowing raspberries even though my hair is super short i do still sometimes use a hair dryer so i'm gonna try later if you don't mind you're gonna give me your old 10 year old hair yeah you can have that that's yours okay thanks try my best to keep calm this morning uh there's chaos going on absolute chaos our entire place is just mental uh koda's having a great time on the floor surrounded by about four million toys and having a lovely time smiling and kicking the chair you're very happy today aren't you george is getting some work done but stood in the kitchen for some reason life hack stand up desk yes but i'm trying to stand up desk is the new normal for me but yeah that's great maybe when i'm not trying to cook a meal um in the tiny kitchen it's not tiny but it's not massive and that's my one bit of worktop i have and he's decided to work on there with all like our camera gear out on the side cables and wires everywhere and there's just chaos everywhere because we're getting ready and packed for our trip so welcome back to another video thanks for clicking on the vlog today and we hope you're well i can't believe how much this guy's smiling at me it's so nice to look down and see such a happy baby oh yeah it's also bed washing day um i've washed loads of codes coders clothes the washing machine hasn't stopped since about seven o'clock this morning and yeah feeling a bit mad but happy like stressed but excited that kind of thing if you know what i mean yeah you happy on you yes you make even stressful things good because you're so happy all the time yeah you are so obviously we've said before going on trips with a baby makes things more difficult in terms of like what you need to pack there's obviously a lot more to take with us you're so distracting yeah it's so hard to vlog with him staring at me with his puppy dog eyes all i want to do is play with you no so but obviously being abroad adds another factor because it's like passports it's covered things like stuff that you need driving abroad is another level and the things you need like there's loads of requirements and things you need to buy but anyway breakfast is on the go we've got some protein bagels today with some sausage and eggs it's a little bit of a nice breakfast this morning because because why not because it's a wednesday i have a question for you comment below your ultimate favorite breakfast out of any breakfast in the world it could be in a restaurant you could say like i don't know a mcdonald's mcmuffin or something or you could say my mum's chicken i don't wanna say chicken chicken carrot casserole that's not breakfast your mum's bacon sandwich or a specific cereal you love or what's your ultimate go-to breakfast if you could have any breakfast in the world today right now what would you what would you choose let me know in the comments i think for me hmm i think for me it'd be like when i make a really good fry up like with halloumi and avocado and toast with eggs and bacon and like loads of different things like a whole big plate or maybe like one of them amazing breakfasts we used to get in barley because barley do unbelievably good breakfasts okay anyway enough chatting and the food's probably burning and so i'm going to put the camera down and finish off cooking and i'll show you the final result in a second and here is the finished result just going to put the hats on and put a little bit of ketchup in there but okay coders into his outfit for the day otd his little polar bear socks on some trousers that were in the sale in morrison's for three pounds um his little tilly darley t-shirt which was sent over from the guys over in manila and then this little beer that's from h m so looking cute hey we're gonna go outside this guy i feel like he is restricted by his own body i feel like all he wants to do is walk and climb and crawl and grab things but obviously he doesn't know how to yet so he's like constantly frustrated he's always like oh like trying to get up and do things he does not sit still anymore so he's like slapping himself back down there he really doesn't stay still for long do you you're a very active baby hey you liked a baby so for some reason unknown to myself um and probably you guys we thought it was a good idea to vlog the car wash again you'll be pleased tonight what did i say unknown under the think english language i think you're supposed to say unbelievable yeah you're right that's what i meant to say strange quirk in the english language yes um and we're getting a three pound fifty wash today i think it's all we need because it was washed last week and the only reason we're getting washed is because of these lovely things on the window from the birds all right just wash please a card please if you are for one pound thank thank you thank you thank you what do you mean get up sold every single time someone obviously something what chemicals you just said some chemicals chemicals are already in there you just completely off and you're like we get foam yes now he wouldn't have done that otherwise i always get up sold no i don't i don't fall for these things he said for one pound more like it could be better yeah quite an interesting angle no it's not why didn't you react i did if you see my face i was freaking out a little bit so yeah this is part of our preparation for going on a big trip in this car we're taking this range rover out of the country in a few days so thought we'd get it cleaned up i also bought a new phone charger for the car oh yes here 12 volt supposed to be a little bit more powerful hopefully so because we think we can use it really we can use navigation where we're going hopefully hopefully we have an internet signal um so yeah a little road trip coming up okay we are going through now we just sit back relax and let a machine wash our car with the extra chemical with the one pound with what with the one pound chemicals see it was going to make such a big difference still only four pound fifty come on even if that guy takes that one pound true i'm fine with that got my coffee so i put the tvs on we can watch um tv in the range rover whilst we're having the car washed and i can control the screens in the back lucy's got a screen it's like first class back there isn't it loose yeah it's getting a bit loud again we did this last time i did say we're gonna do more car wash vlogs [Music] [Music] [Music] coder now goes in the carrier facing forwards and he absolutely loves it hello hello are you ready yeah that's a nice smile good boy perfect coda let's see ya is that better these hybrids literally literally nearly got run over by a tesla that is so quiet that's scary that was so silent wasn't it nearly got run over by an electric car four pound car wash review not bad there's a few splodges of bird poo still on the car loose move out the way because i'm actually going to flick this poo at you we're not at you but i'm going to flick it so don't touch it i just want to oh summer fingers really badly it's on my fingers really badly that's disgusting holding your hand up like it's bleeding it makes me feel sick i thought it was dry oh nice new defender in black that's very cool not too sure on the wheels but other than that it's very cool haven't even told you where we are or what we're doing we wanted to come out for a bit of an afternoon walk this afternoon but it looks like potentially it's gonna rain so we've instead decided to come out to a garden center um close by oh they've got a fresh fruit market nice uh this is by an area where we like to walk so we thought worst case if it does rain come here we decided to come in first then we can do a walk after if we want wow this is nice you don't get this all the time this is like this is why we like coming out to the country sometimes a little bit more countryside because you get stuff like this fresh fruit this reminds me of um market market in bgc yeah eggs cherries maybe we get some blueberries have we we've come to this on the wrong time because we we're in our fridge yeah we went food shopping yesterday if we'd known this was here though we can come back for this another time we also thought it'd be interesting to have a little look around here today because when we eventually move house we're going to have a garden for the very first time so they do things here like garden furniture sets so you start getting a bit excited stop getting a little bit of inspiration for that coda meet the monkey [Music] first time you've seen a monkey no he's got a toy monkey ah he's got a toy monkey is that a chimp having a look at the outdoor cooking something we're both really keen to do is have like an outdoor cooking area with pizza oven barbecue how nice would that be imagine having everyone around cooking they're very cool that's a different brand that's actually a little bit cheaper the one i've seen is green egg something the egg green egg or something um and it's like an outdoor that 799 still a lot of money don't get us wrong yeah red's quite cool when coda's a little bit older there's so much stuff here that we can show him like these old tractors that they've got on display big cow and some other animals over there imagine when we can take him to the zoo what's that is that a cow [Music] and over here they've got a food hall and coffee shop so i'm thinking we get a little bit lunch here maybe maybe a snack i'm a little bit hungry yeah yeah same they were very filling but maybe lovely maybe a little snack this is actually really cool this is um a bit like a farm shop vibes i would say they sell wood food shop vibes yeah i did not mean food chocolate i meant farm shop vibes they sell local produce chutney gooseberry and elderflower jam i know everything what do you mean i don't know what do you mean everything's in pennies look things are like atp you never think so you think no you don't one pound 49 for a cake mix yeah nice yup if you saw our cotswolds vlogs a few months ago we went to dale's foot farm shop and bought some products from there which we loved and we've been kind of looking for that similar thing more locally which doesn't really exist but this is kind of getting there actually a little bit oh they've got cheese section of butchers sausage rolls alice's chocolate and patisserie chloe's coffee bar and ice cream over there as well okay guys we're home and i'm very upset very very upset the amount of fuel we just put in the range rover for our trip 180 pounds 180 pounds speechless speechless okay i'll calm down after the fuel uh fuel scenario making last coffee of the day going for an iced coffee so i have my espresso beautiful i'm gonna have some oat milk as well i'll make a little bit of an iced oat milk flat white type thing oh i need to go to my secret smash of oatly if you're ever in our flat and you need oat milk bottom left of coda's wardrobe huge stash of it cartons and cartons right this is slightly too late to have a coffee it is it's nearly 6 p.m just a little bit in there that'll do however i've still got a lot to do lisa and i both do still a lot to do today the day's run away we're up at like 6 a.m with coda 5 actually 5 30 maybe um and then we do have coffee and stuff but then we get the day going and there's always so much to do i'm sure a ton of you can relate so i still want to go to the gym today lucy's going to cook us some dinner now we're going to get coded to bed i need to edit this vlog we then need to prepare some more stuff for our trip make sure we've got all our documents make sure we've got everything we need to carry with us then a little bit more emaily admin work to do than bedtime so that's why the 6pm coffee is coming in today comment below your coffee habits i'd actually be really interested sounds boring but to me it's not boring at all are you uh two a day a five a day or one a day do you drink no coffee have you never had coffee in your life do you just enjoy the taste do you rely on it for energy what's your go-to coffee order do you have sugar do you have syrups do you just chicken peanuts green beans delicious gonna enjoy this so much [Music] is taking 100 [Music] of my mental energy and my motivation to go to the gym right now [Applause] 9 15 pm let's go i actually wanted to go to the gym much earlier than this today but it was one of those evenings finished my editing finished my work about an hour ago and then koda usually goes to bed at about 6 30 at the moment i would say um he's still awake for some reason he just didn't want to go to sleep tonight he i don't know he just wanted me or lucy he wasn't crying he was just kind of stirring and tossing and turning when we'd walk into the room and peer over his cot he had this huge smile on his face bless him um she just wanted to be with us for a few more hours i think at least he went for a walk and now i'm finally like i i don't even know after the workout i'm hoping i'll say to you that i made the right decision but i don't even know right now if going to the gym is the right thing to do or if i should just go to sleep but i'm i still just about think that a workout is the right thing to do today i'm supposed to be on my schedule i'm supposed to be lifting weights today so i'm on my way we'll get it done oh okay guys we did it we did it are we more tired than before yes we are do we regret the workout never never look at this sky beautiful um um what more can i say what a day what a vlog feels like the old days a little bit um feels like pick the camera up to show exactly what we're doing which sounds silly because that's exactly what a vlog is but i don't know if you guys notice you must do maybe you don't do all our videos feel similar in style and the way they flow because we definitely have different feelings sometimes when we're filming vlogs like a day like today is what i would call like a good old-fashioned daily classic vlog um then some of the days feel like we're filming for short amounts of time because the video is more specific about one thing or we just want to come on and kind of talk about a topic or a question that's been asked or cover off something that we think you guys might be interested in or rather than like showing a full day but i feel like today you've seen our breakfast lunch dinner everything from the morning up until 10 15 p.m right now i'm probably rambling on but yeah that was good you really really regret a workout and i'm very fortunate that if i want to i can get some extra sleep tomorrow maybe in the morning a little bit harder with coda um but i can hopefully find although tomorrow's busy as well but i can hopefully find
