The Sad Reason We Stopped Vlogging (Explaining EVERYTHING)

[Music] good morning coda are you ready for a fantastic day are you ready to explain where we've been and what's been going on coda code of the vlog started we're on mate we're on wow guys it is warm today let's get the ac going we had the ac fixed on this car because it wasn't working yes hello guys it's been a while it feels like it's been a while how long has it actually been five days or six days six days when we upload this or today i think if we upload this tomorrow it'll be safe okay so five days for us for juicy vlog terms that's like i was gonna i was gonna say yeah it feels like a really really long time since we picked up the camera since we spoke to you guys since we uploaded a video on this channel um nothing really six days i feel like a lot of vloggers probably upload once a week and if they uploaded after six days it'd be more regular than normal we're the weird ones here um so welcome back to another video we will explain in a second where we've been what's been happening it's been a very weird week for us uh for many reasons but um we're back so it's good to be back uh this morning quickly we were gonna go get the car washed and have a little chat with you guys we're actually gonna do it after now because we've got a meeting that if we did the car wash first we'd be late for classic cars if we do it after we're going to be a bit early so we thought let's for once in our lives be early doesn't that all very nearly did the car wash first very nearly yes uh but then we said no let's be good people here let's um let's be on time for something so we're heading to a quick meeting at a car garage actually um which we may have some news on soon um but i'm not gonna say anything yet we'll see how the meeting goes hello but let's get a bit of old friend it could be i don't know anything comment below let us know okay we just took the car wash now we're just going for one of these little drive-through ones you have options from three pound fifty up to thirteen pound fifty three pound fifties nuts you want you want a lot of this you want the wheel wash you want the body wash obviously you want this do you want a chassis wash maybe do you need triple foam questionable i'd like how far do you go i think we get the triple foam i think gloss wax gloss whack nine pounds yeah so we're going somewhere in the middle because we take the bmw to like someone that actually washes it properly like not a machiney one but because the paintwork on this is so old and destroyed anyway please thank you we just take it through one of these like um what do you call it like a traditional car wash uh well we take it to like a hand car wash the other cars but the paint on this is so um scratched anyway that we there's no point it doesn't matter if it gets a little bit scratched usually i wouldn't use these usually i wouldn't use these type of car washes for the the bmw because the paintwork is so good on that car and sometimes you can't get scratches with these automatic machines i'm sounding so boring yeah if you're a car person you know what i'm going on about paint work quality of your paint works everything yeah but we want to get the meat the meeting went very well yeah you probably can't hear me very well because the guy's currently already getting the call literally washing the car right now um but yeah it went really well so watch the space and it's sort of an idea for a future sort of collaboration and some more car content on the way so yeah and lovely people i don't know how we always meet such nice people i think so many nice people in the world brilliant brilliant thank you so much i actually get really nervous in car washes because it's all automatic especially at the end when that thing comes up and you think your car's going to hit it the dryer and but it senses the car but i always think what if the sensor's got a fault on it and it's gonna like go through the windscreen i don't know maybe it's just me i just get quite nervous [Music] [Music] bit loud we're gonna do a q a section but very loud this is the peak of our vlogging career this is it it's just going to be we're just going to do car wash vlogs from now on yeah [Music] is that gonna be a bit quieter okay it's a little bit quieter so it's not nothing the scary bits coming up the uh the heater at the ends that goes this close to your windscreen you keep repeating me i'm getting old getting old i'm getting old do you want to watch tv yes one of the cool features of the range rover is that you can actually watch television oh maybe we don't have any signal in there you're watching top gear on here oh no it says only for the passenger because it thinks we're driving can you see it hey yeah can you not nope show this actually so this screen has tv there for lucy but because i'm the driver it just goes onto the menu look how close that gets so that that is magic very close drying the car now these things are going to dry the windscreen this is the weirdest vlog we've done today so boring i'm really sorry we're like let's walk in the car we're thinking it's a good idea yeah that would be fun comment below if you do this too but i always jump out the car at the end of the car wash to see how clean it is wow wheels are good it was good so let's have a little look yeah baby we are looking clean [Music] very very clean yes okay i'm happy with that okay we are trying to film in the car we've connected the camera to a windscreen what do you call it holder it's going to overheat i don't know it's going to overheat oh george i can't look how shaky that is it's gonna be horrible to watch we'll just do this one behind we're really trying to come back with a good vlog today okay so we've pulled up for a second because that was way too shaky um yeah true ah peace people shouting over there so yeah we have what's been going on we have father's day that was so nice i'm actually wearing my um present which is my father's day gift you won't be able to see it from here but this is a personalized necklace with coda's name and date at birth on so it's very special lucy arranged that for me and then yeah we had ended up basically coda got quite poorly bless him and it's the first time that we've had a sick baby on our hands he had a really high temperature he wasn't really feeding and we were so worried that we just said let's just go to hospital and just see what they think just to get peace of mind um and the hospital he's fine by the way he's absolutely he's like he's with us he's good he's back to normal he's got a normal temperature again he's way more himself i mean to be fair he was himself he was laughing and smiling throughout the whole thing it was just his temperature and the fact that he wasn't keeping any milk down um so now yeah he's much better and i'm glad he went to hospital we didn't stay over but i was there with him for like seven or eight hours and it just takes time and we phoned up first and the doctor said yeah just take him in the doctor will see him obviously very worrying because it's the first time he's been sick we were also not feeling too good maybe we had what he had yeah um and for some reason it was like a total washout week which for us is so unusual and so far away from how we usually live life we're usually doing so much stuff all the time including working including vlogging and we just we still did a bit of stuff but really really no filming no filming no instagram stories it was really weird we just wanted to just be there for him and just he needed more cuddles and more attention uh he really needed us he always needs us but it was like an extra needs us as in we just wanted to give him our full undivided attention all day every day and i think that's probably helped his recovery we had no sleep he had no sleep so we were almost like he was newborn again and we were totally drained um so yeah we just didn't pick up the camera or do do a lot for a whole week which we i think over like four years we've uh built up time off because we never really take time off with it and it wasn't really time off no it wasn't like pleasurable time off so anyway what's been going on um life update we are still moving house yes that's a question people have been asking we are just waiting it's a lengthy process because someone further along in the chain we found a place we're waiting for someone two down to buy a house basically yeah sorry you always explain things really long and it's just like i'll explain it you have to wait everyone has to have found a place to move everyone needs to move at the same time how is it how is anyone gonna move house if you're always waiting for someone else unless like there's no there's no change the people we're buying from they found the house they want to buy but the people that they're buying the house from from haven't found one but surely until they do that but then if the people that then those people are trying to buy haven't found a house it's insane so we don't know england is nuts and also by that apparently once you um the chain's complete you all move on the same day yeah how is that going to happen how is that going to work all the keys have to be passed on like this that is all your stuff in one day it's ridiculous i don't get that but anyway that'll be fun when we do it i'm so excited to have a garage i'm so excited to have a garden it's a shame that we're not going to be in there for summer probably a bigger house with two floors three floors um yeah so very excited that's still coming on philippines trip thank you so much for the feedback on the last vlog you guys are so excited to see us back in the philippines yeah that's that was the last one like two weeks ago we filmed that it's mad um so yeah huge thank you all the comments all the support on that let me check this is still recording because this camera tends to overheat it is you sure yeah and i'm really sorry if we're not in frame because we can't see what's being filmed currently but we assume we're kind of in french we're the worst vloggers in the world what else is going on we'll end this section and we'll carry on filming for the rest of today we're gonna make some nice food haven't eaten yet today but we've had a meeting we've had the car washed we're also starting today monday the best day to start something uh we've had a weird rubbish week to be honest but also last night wasn't great so i don't think it's a good day to start something so i'm exhausted are you gonna tell them what we ate last night we ate mcdonald's last night and it's the last time we're ever having mcdonald's yeah it was terrible we really didn't enjoy it no not because of that no because your food was cold and it meant that you moaned the entire time instead of getting new food no then eventually i did decide to go get any food but by the time i went to get the new food i was to fill up from the old bad food that i only ate half the new food and then i'd eaten a bit too much and felt sick so just don't do what we do don't do what george does nothing in these vlogs is recommendation on how to live your life if you have a problem with something change it or don't moan about it don't moan about it and not do something to change it that's what moan about it and then change it at the last minute when it's bit too late yeah and annoy me more yeah that did happen so what else have we been doing um that's it recovering not much moving house we're still planning the trip we're doing some smaller trips before the philippines trip because that's going to be a little bit later on this year um we want to drive to france maybe we're thinking of driving to france in this range rover which could be very brave of us to do yeah these cars are renowned to like break down and have problems but we've been positive because we're gonna have so much space the air con is fixed yeah you can put so much of our gear in the boot it's huge this car um we want to do a little road trip we thought france could be cool it's so close to england you go on the underground tunnel from the uk to france it takes 30 minutes never done that there any time no experience for us yes they're cutting grass here i'm just itching my nose my hay fever's kicking up we're parked right next to some grass and we want to do we've got a few more trips planned as well we're gonna go and see kim and tom again soon okay the camera's about to overheat so we will see you in a while okay we're back home we've had a load of people asking for coder updates and it probably is about time we did an update because i don't feel like we've shown him on the vlog too much lately and we haven't vlogged for a whole week so here he is he's doing a lot of cool stuff coda hello hello he's so strong [Music] hello where's mommy hello so he's having a lot of fun on his play mats playing with all his toys and getting really strong as you just saw in those other clips holding his head up and doing tummy time and stuff he can more or less sit up on his own as well can't you saying hello i'm tired that is the sign of a nap time but yeah he's doing so well bless him did not expect the camera to go there that works very well on his play gem little tripod yeah he's doing so well we are loving parenthood he is over five months now we just celebrated his five-month birthday it's crazy isn't it yeah time really flies anyone who's had babies will know because we got told this before he was born like make the most of every moment because the time flies and before you know they're not a newborn anymore and he hasn't been a newborn for a few months now technically on paper have you yeah but he's like the happiest baby so smiley hello kate did you smile so hard to get him smile on camera because as soon as he sees the camera he's like what is that and he's really interested in it isn't he yeah so weird he knows the camera's there yeah he knows the camera's there and then he's smiling really grilling at me right now what else is he doing he is yeah he is we can't leave him oh what was that you okay still got a little cough as you can hear yeah he's becoming so much more advanced he's really interacting he's wanting to play with toys now he's yeah he needs something to do all the time basically which means but it also is great because it means that like he can be oh it also means that he can be like i don't know if we need to get something done we can give him a toy and he'll like entertain himself he's a bit more independent these days unlike when he's a newborn and it was like we literally had to just be with him hold him and he'd need us now if we like i don't know i need to have a shower in the mornings um say i'm doing my makeup in the morning um he's like on the bed with the toy he's very happy instead of i have to be really quick i can take my time a bit more now yeah for example if i give him this his hands will come up straight away and he'll want to take it and play with it and a few weeks ago he wasn't doing that they boarded that one how about this one this one's got your name on it it's actually handy out in public isn't it with that because someone the amount of comments we get oh that's an unusual name where'd you get that from oh that kind of thing um in that voice having that like name bad almost we're like oh yeah there you go that's his name and instead of having to like spell it out to people because um yeah we always get a lot of comments on his name don't we most people love it most people are really nice but we get a lot of people that are kind of they like the more traditional names yeah it's crazy how many people have an opinion when you don't ask for it well that's life that's cool but yeah there is your code update for everyone asking he's doing so well and he's yeah he's generally really happy baby obviously we don't film when he's screaming and crying and doing all those baby things um because we've seen some comments saying he's the perfect baby he never cries he is perfect in our eyes obviously um but of course he cries because he has his moments we were up how long did it take us to try and get him to sleep last night four hours um sometimes he goes down straight away sometimes we were up we're up for four hours trying to get him to sleep three hours later and he just doesn't want doesn't want to sleep um but he's learning aren't you any other parents going through the same thing if you've just had a baby congratulations there's bound to be some people watching the vlog right now i've literally just had a baby it's a wild ride but it's the best one yeah it is it's a nap it's like i always say it's the most extreme thing ever it's the most amazing happiest wonderful thing we've ever had happen to us in our lives it's also the hardest so it's like the most extreme thing on both angles [Music] it has been a while since we had chef lucy on the vlogs what do we have we have some ducks um mashed up ish potatoes wow some broccoli and then a balsamic-y um sauce that i need to put in oh did you not do the red wine just i don't know what i'm talking about no it's a um [Music] oh is this the reduced it doesn't say oh batman glaze yeah wow okay delish delish thank you very much yeah pour it on man oh you don't like it when i call you mandy delicious hmm okay guys well we're going to end this vlog here because yeah because um that's what we do now it's about end videos 7 p.m we're gonna hello smiling at me we're gonna eat our dinner and we're then gonna get koda to bed and honestly our evenings are so different to how they used to be now we no longer make evening plans we'd make no evening plans because we're really trying to focus on coda's sleeping habits and routines yeah and yeah so there's not much more for us to film today we're going to enjoy this dinner that lucy's puts up and get the boy to bed and then get ourselves to bed i actually might go to the gym yeah me too lucy might also go to the gym obviously separately yeah we used to go to the gym together those days for now are over that's so weird isn't it that we can't work out together anymore unless someone looks after i know yeah well when he's a little bit older we can have
