Guess What We're Doing....😬

we are about to do something [Music] oh my gosh are you kidding me what's up guys how's it going today hope you're doing well I hope you've been well we are about to do something um we're putting some netting up here to keep the dogs in and we'll put the sheep in here too there's all there's all kinds of things happening with this and so I'm not gonna reveal it all yet but I'm just letting you know we're about to do that and then we have something we got to build but anyways this netting is um from Premiere one it's the permanent and it's 150 feet each section we have three of them we'll have 450 feet total to be able to work with and we're gonna set it up out here in the front of kind of well off to the side slash front of our house it will be electrified a lot of people didn't understand what this was in one of the videos we posted recently people are saying that's not going to protect you from anything because they I guess they just assumed it's just netting it's electric netting and so it has a very powerful shock running through it so any animals that come up to it to get in or try to get out they won't try very long let's just say that I've touched it and it it doesn't feel good at all at all so we're gonna get started on that right now let's go [Music] foreign [Music] our kids don't know but we're getting a dairy cow and we're building a stanchion because we need somewhere in a bunker I'm so excited John is lining some things up I drew up these plans based on a fusion of two different things that I saw that I really liked we are hopeful that this is going to be the ideal situation for us because it will be portable since we do rotational grazing we need to be able to move it from pasture to pasture but it should provide all the things that our MooMoo needs and our sheep and we're really excited we got to knock it out in two days though because she'll be here in three days two sleds built so we gotta figure out the angle at which we want to cut we're about figuring out some angles about to do some math get stuck in anything exciting [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] always charge your batteries first folks [Music] whoa this stuff is so hard to get through foreign [Music] [Music] foreign I was like so proud of us we're doing it we're doing it all right ready to lift again foreign [Music] [Music] married oh you're not [Music] whoops if we want to make it cow ready it would probably be wise to go ahead and put yeah put one up higher it probably makes sense to go ahead and do that and then brace the actual rest but I'd say that's pretty good for a day tomorrow we can get the rest of the enchilada what's up friends day two building a stand Shin I look rougher today rhymes with mansion it's a stanchion Mansion essentially we're gonna coin that for this the stanchion Mansion let's get to it actually I'm feeling I don't want to say proud I am feeling pretty proud of this so far well you said it you said you weren't going to say it but then you said I don't really want to but oh which you have to no but honestly just like working on this with you has been fun my mom made out take care of the kids so you guys last night like I'm so thankful for it last night well she had the kids most of the day handled it great then we went inside at like six they'd already eaten dinner it was already cleaned up and we there was food waiting for us and we just ate and then watched a movie with them it was just hot cocoa hot chocolate it was really nice it was great to not because normally to get a project done like this like when we cleaned out the woods we basically tried to get the kids outside as much as possible they do help the kids are great when we're doing stuff but it's kind of a free-for-all like there's nobody really reminding them to pick up after themselves and they do and okay they're just kids they're kids so you can't expect kids to govern themselves well because they're children it doesn't work so it was just a nice change to like be able to work really hard all day outside and then go in and have stuff taken care of anyway today is the last day we have to work on this so we have to finish it so we need to get our butts to move because it's now already 10 30. [Music] hey tonight yeah oh my gosh are you kidding me how cut one off the back I realize what will save our whole life what I know how to fix this oh my God oh my God I do you're fired because this is your plans no it's not because there's a 12 foot boards and that's a 12 foot thing and you put on the end of the board it says inside of the board I did do that for everything else fit we were on the home stretch wait so where is it hanging off the end now it's yeah it's over the edge oh my gosh it's an easy fix I got it we'll just we're just gonna cut those ones on the end and then put the end board smack dab against these and it'll brace it at the top anyway because this backboard will go the whole way across this this and that it kind of solves two problems we had at the same time it's a beautiful thing so you're not going to have any overhang not in the back we don't have the problems we had and um we're almost there folks listen if there's one we're almost there I know this is not conventional but I'm not this is this is no good way to do this okay [Music] oh hello like why does this cute happening with this hat with every hat I wear it just keeps slowly emerging from my head nana I think is done we got a lot done most of it's done last thing we gotta do is just put bracing on it which we need more boards for but right now it's fine it's it's staying up really well just a little shaky so once we get that taken care of this thing will basically be done well guys it's happening we're gonna go today kids don't know about it we're getting it set up right now it will be here in just a little while later this evening rather but only you know maybe like four hours from now so we're finishing up getting this uh set up for it and um yeah that's what we're doing let's get it done [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] there we go finally got that okay you guys 10 23 the last like guesstimate was 10 30 ish so she should be here any minute we've got everything set up outside and now we're just waiting on her but I am actually getting all of our milking supplies ready I realized I should probably run them through the dishwasher so they're sterile and clean and good to go first thing in the morning because she left so early to get here she's gonna have to be milked at like probably by 6 00 am so we gotta have everything ready to go that way we can just wake up and get out there and not have to worry about washing things I'm loading up the dishwasher all the jars we have stainless steel Lids I've got my funnels and filters and all the things and there you go you answer that answer it right now and my friends couldn't die hello uh this is Jonathan but yes this is Danielle yeah no worries uh it's all good okay oh no all right thanks so much like 40 minutes this car truck broke down oh no but the guy who he can take a nap and bring her in the morning wow 40 more minutes okay well that's good because we have other things to actually get done it's an all-nighter long all nighter might as well just stay up till five and milk her John said you can he knows that I might [Music] as we stare [Music]
