CLEANING OUR DESTROYED HOUSE BEFORE MY WIFE GETS HOME FROM HER TRIP!

so I'm running out of time I ain't got time for it so hopefully this is not the start of a bathroom break every hour well I just got some bad news [Music] it's too it's so much fun I just woke up it is our last morning we are getting ready to head out I decided to break up the drive today gonna actually go halfway and stay with our sweet friends who just moved to Nashville earlier this year so we're gonna go is here why I didn't get to Vlog uh that's this you're looking at her say hey he has been the biggest handful officially in Paris I'm gonna get ready we gotta get out of this hotel room I will catch up with you in a few minutes put you in on all the dates all right we are all packed up right girls that's for sure we've got our food snacks baby girls we are gonna swing by this coffee shop and I'm gonna grab coffee I will get you something to drink but not coffee oh I love coffee we only get on our birthdays which is right that's not even a thing Tyler it's like it maybe happened one time and it happened twice and it takes like a year for that to happen Okay anyway we'll probably get you guys a drink but probably tea or something [Music] and then we have an eight hour drive to Nashville and then we're gonna spend the night with some friends or have dinner I think we're gonna meet for dinner yeah I'm excited it should be a good day I'm like a little feeling a little bit better about sleeping in a little later and not um not driving the full 14 hours all right we are stopped at Wild Child coffee thought it would be sweet to have a little mini coffee date before we go what do you think Lainey you want a coffee date a tea date you want a London Fog one of my favorite drinks in the world one of the cutest coffee shops I've ever been in my husband [Music] [Music] man I just didn't even realize the house was getting crazy like this Danielle's coming home today should be home in about five five and a half hours and she can't come home to this so Danielle was supposed to come home yesterday but ended up staying overnight with our friends in Nashville so yesterday I had the kids cleaning up their bedrooms some of the bathrooms the downstairs basement area and they did a pretty good job those areas are a little messy now because they've played in them some today but very much easy to clean up within a few minutes so I sent them to their rooms now just to have a little quiet time their coloring drawing whenever playing hopefully maybe falling asleep at some point because they're acting a little crazy so I figured it might be best just for me to have some time by myself to clean up the kitchen basically this whole area and then I'd love to get this closet taken care of it's not horrible just some of their dirty clothes that they've thrown on the floor possibly some of my own dirty clothes but I'd love to get the laundry put away and have this whole house looking nice and I got five hours to do it I think I can do it and I'm talking about I want to wipe the counters sweep and possibly mop these floors and I would really love to do a little deep clean in these bathrooms I'm gonna set a timer for five hours Starts Now the problem is I'm at like uh where do I start place there's not like anything that's sticking out to me right now that makes me want to just go okay wanna do that first I won't do anything I don't like cleaning that's why it's a mess I'm gonna start a living room I don't like to clean the kitchen I hate doing dishes they're the worst I'll do like anything else all white counters I'll sleep floors I'll even do some laundry the dishes hail so I'm not gonna start here I'm gonna start they say Danielle says swallow the Frog do the thing you don't want to do first I think in this situation I'm gonna wait a little bit on the thing I don't want to do the most and that's these dishes thank you foreign foreign [Music] [Music] so I just remembered that it's Friday and we have our Sabbath dinner tonight while I don't have to make challah bread I feel like it might be nice for them to come home and have that especially I know Danielle is not feeling peaceful or rested so what a great way to usher in the Sabbath day of rest for them with a yummy meal and uh challah bread but that's going to put me back a little bit of time so I need to get on it I'm already down I've only got like four hours left recording this whole thing is gonna make it take a little bit longer too so I'm gonna do that right now and just blaze through we just gotta we gotta pick it up I'm going a little too slow like I'm gonna I was gonna record making this but I'm not even gonna record making this like just no it's getting made okay so I'm running out of time I ain't got time for it I also forgot that I ran a load of clothes earlier I need to throw them in the dryer it kind of stink still it's gonna be okay it's okay okay I also made a cake I figured I was like oh it's Shabbat we do a dinner and a dessert and I have no dessert so then I thought hey you know what Danielle really loves cake I'm gonna make a cake we had a box mix of like King Arthur gluten-free cake that we had up there for a little while so that's in the oven baking I'm also down to three hours took way too long I'm running out of time people this isn't good anyways I'm gonna clean up in here and then I'm gonna work on the kitchen last [Music] well I just got some bad news ah kind of good news and bad news I guess all wrapped into one so Danielle is now not going to be home until eight which gives me like an hour and a half longer than I thought I had which is great because I was losing time but oh that just means that they won't be back until late and I don't know if doing the dinner at eight when they first get home no time like we would have to do it right away otherwise it's just getting too late and I'll have to feed the girls before she gets here I don't know I would keep the girls up but I just have a feeling that the people that are traveling Elena Tyler especially Israel are going to be kind of grumpy and exhausted and not going to want to deal with it at that point so I don't know we'll see [Music] all right this is looking good so far I'm keeping those out because I'm gonna get the Tanika or tinko everything is once I'm done and do a little quick mop of the floor this is good too all right so we're back on track because she's running late so let's get it done foreign this is stuff still from our uh camping trip that was just brought in from the camper left here and then oh it's about that time dishes time luckily there's not that many dishes in here everything else is pretty clear I need some stuff over there that I'm using for dinner tonight everything's pretty much done in here so I'm going to get these dishes done and then I probably got to start dinner before I can move on to doing some of the other stuff foreign [Applause] [Music] just texted me she just entered North Carolina from Tennessee so she's still another a couple hours out it's going to be exciting whenever you're kind of ready to be home to be back in your state for her it is raining so that's unfortunate Everyone likes to drive in the rain especially on a long trip like that you know I really miss her I miss her and the kids Israel even though I know it's gonna be a handful when he gets back it's been uh it's been loud around here but it's not been loud enough so all right looking a lot better even if it looked just this good when she got home she would really appreciate that I'm trying to go above and beyond I just don't know if I'm gonna have time to do all the things I wanted to do because I didn't really factor in making dinner and making cake and whatever so um I'm gonna try to straighten up the laundry area and our closet so I'm gonna go do that while dinner's cooking and then we'll just see how much time I have left after that but I don't know we got if I gotta feed the kids and then probably get them to bed I guess before she gets home I don't know we'll see how we're feeling as the night goes on all right dinner's in the oven challah Bread's in the oven cakes made in the fridge frosted and everything okay so now it's 7 15. it's about done so we need to get these kids fed I don't know we'll see how the night goes I'm not gonna like force bedtime but if it's like all right well it's bedtime and Mom's not home yet so we'll go ahead and do it so we'll see [Music] I'm ready for her to be back [Music] you come see me okay I see I see was that a long triple now you have opal now I know how was it my legs feel so weird for sitting in the car for so long would you do it again [Laughter] [Applause] I missed you guys just in time dinner's done I forgot to put sugar in the challah bread so it just tastes like bread that's okay though and it's kind of crazy you kind of ready to eat thank you why are you crying oh and to give her a hug give her a hug give her a kiss he
