Okay guys, so we've actually,
while Kim's out quick laughing from this clip,
we've actually bought some special gifts
up all the way to Manchester for Kim,
and I think she's gonna love them.
What did I say?
All the way from Manchester.
Oh, sorry, my bad.
All the way from Manchester.
No, I just did it wrong again, what's wrong with me?
Is mum brain an actual thing?
I think it is.
All the way from London to Manchester.
There we go, I got it, I got it in the end.
Okay, so I've just set up a little display
for when Kim gets back.
Koda's kind of part of the display.
Don't worry, we're not just leaving him on the table.
I'm here supervising.
He's not gonna roll off, he can't roll yet, so we're good.
So yeah, we've got a few different bits.
We've got the Boy Bawang Cornic chili cheese flavor.
She is loving, because she's pregnant,
she's loving the like crunchy things.
Like she keeps crunchy on ice
and she loves the crunchy texture.
So hopefully she'll love these.
We've got two flavors of the Piato, Piato, Piatos, Pietos.
I love them, but I never know how you pronounce them.
Sour cream and onion and the cheese.
I think cheese is her favorite.
Then we've got some Ding Dongs, some classic Ding Dongs.
I don't know why there's a little guy
on a mushroom at the front.
Does anyone know why he's on a mushroom?
Some Mang Thomas sauce, which is an essential.
And then her favorite.
This is the one I'm most excited to show her.
The Ube Jam, so good.
I think we're gonna have this for breakfast tomorrow.
That's my prediction.
So let's spin to once Kim is home
and we can give her these gifts.
Hello.
You okay?
Say hello.
Hello.
And freeze.
You're excited?
Hi Koda.
Hey.
Oh.
It's me.
You can turn around and look on the table.
Oh.
Oh my god.
Oh my god, that's amazing.
All for you.
Thank you so much.
Your favorite.
Do you know what?
I nearly actually placed an order online.
Really?
Yeah, I swear.
Like I really wanted Ube Jalean.
Perfect.
Like I promised you now.
And then I thought, oh, I'll get my piattos.
How did you know?
Wow.
This is amazing.
Are you excited?
This is my favorite.
Is it?
This is from Ube Baba, yeah.
Yeah, she absolutely, she always has this.
I can like smell garlic behind my brow while I'm doing this.
Oh, this is amazing.
We went to Earl's Core the other day.
And we went to Jollibee there
and to the Manila supermarket.
That, that, that, that.
You got my mom's too.
Yeah, so we thought as we were there.
Oh my god, perfect.
We have to get this out of the kitchen.
This is my favorite, this is absolutely my favorite.
Oh, I didn't know.
What have you got?
I love this.
Don't mind.
Thank you.
Yeah, try it.
He's never tried piattos before.
Really?
Wow.
They're yummy.
Just one, because we're going to have dinner soon.
Let me know what you think.
No.
What do you think?
It's good?
It's like, try and take it.
Yeah.
What do you think of the flavor?
Do you like it?
Let's see if his hand goes back in.
Yeah, yeah, that's a test.
Let's wait and see where his hand goes.
Yeah.
Yeah, he likes it.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
He's definitely my boy.
He's giving it one go.
It's so funny.
It's so quick, you didn't put it back.
Can mommy have one?
Give one to momma.
Come on.
He's like, no, sorry, they're actually mine now.
You can say thank you so much.
You're welcome.
Aw, thanks guys.
That's really cool.
Thank you.
It's really fun actually.
We felt like we were in the Philippines.
It's like, have you been to the store?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
It's just like, it's like you're in,
I don't know, 7-Eleven or it's like this.
It's like all the stuff that they have in there
is like proper, authentic stuff.
They even have desserts, right?
Did you see like cooked food?
Yeah, yeah.
Like in plastic bags.
Yeah, so good, so good.
It's really good.
It's like a mini Philippines.
Yeah, it really is.
They even have like a Filipino travel agent.
Did you see that?
Yes, we did see that.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And there was loads of,
there's like globe signs everywhere and stuff.
It's so funny.
So much to book our trips to the Philippines
at that travel agent, yeah.
Yeah.
Okay, so it's now the next day
and we're about to go for lunch with a friend of mine
who I don't think I've seen for like six years.
When I used to work at BMW,
some of you guys might not know,
that was my previous job before we did this full time.
And I did an apprenticeship,
so I did like a year long course.
And there's the same like group of 10 of us,
I think to begin with,
and it went down to about five by the end of it.
The girl that we're meeting was one of them people
and I haven't seen her in years
and she lives in this area.
So I was like, we're here again,
let's definitely meet up.
So it's gonna be really nice,
but I really haven't seen her in years.
So I'm looking forward to that.
We're going to the media,
no, media city it's called,
which is where loads of television stuff's filmed
and there's a few nice restaurants.
And I think there's like a nice bit of like a lake
or a river, I don't know what it is.
So looking forward to that.
Also, Kim and I this morning went out
and got our nails done again.
I went for this kind of mint green colour
on my fingers and my toes,
because you guys know I'm obsessed with everything green.
So we're gonna head there now.
I think we're gonna go to either the Botanist
or the Alchemist, one of the isths for lunch.
But yeah, looking forward to it.
And then Tom's doing a bit of work this afternoon.
I think we're gonna head back together this evening.
But as always having the best time up here in Manchester,
we can really see ourselves like moving here, I swear.
Like if it wasn't for family being down South,
we way prefer everything else about this area
to where we live.
Okay, cool, we've just parked up
and we are now in Media City.
I can see ITV, BBC.
A couple of years ago, maybe in the last,
could even be five to 10 years, I'm not exactly sure,
but a lot of the UK's media, TV studios, et cetera,
all moved up to Salford up here.
And this is Media City, apartment buildings,
got the river here.
And then over there, I can see the TV studios.
But of course, if there's all those things going on,
people need places to eat.
So there's like a ton of restaurants here.
I don't know what that guy said.
I think he said he loves the channel
and he's gonna subscribe, pretty sure.
Cheers, mate.
He's giving me a thumbs up.
And yeah, there's a load of food options.
We've chosen one and we are meeting Lucy's friend
who she has not seen for years, I think she mentioned.
So yeah, here we are again in a brand new place,
exploring, doing all the things we love to do.
So this seems to be like the food area
right near the studios, actually.
There's a lift.
A lift there, hopefully.
So we are going to this place just up here,
The Botanist, which I think we've been to once before.
Did we go here in Newcastle?
Yes.
Cool.
This is so nice.
Luckily, we have the weather for it as well
because I think we're gonna be sitting outdoors.
Thank you.
Amazing, thanks so much.
Thank you.
Can I have a cup of coffee,
would you like me to pour it for you?
Yes, please.
Yeah.
I'll just do a little bit to help you dry your chair.
Oh, cool.
Thank you.
Okay, we've got some chicken kebabs here with garlic oil
that was just poured from the top.
And do you want to just spot a plate of broccoli?
It smells amazing.
Is that what you're having?
Yeah, we've decided to order some broccoli
to make us feel a little bit better about fries
and things like that.
And here's my friend.
We're trying to remember if she's been in the vlogs before,
but I'm not sure.
I can't remember.
And I've never seen her come before,
so I was trying to say what was my name.
I couldn't say Elizabeth when I was, well, two years old,
so I used to come up with Divot.
I said your name and I was like, hang on.
I was like, why is she calling me that?
And I didn't remember, I was like, yeah.
Yeah, after five years, I think we worked out.
Amazing, amazing.
Right, enjoy.
That lunch was really, really nice.
Really good food in there.
And now we're just having a little wander around
next to the, what do you call this, canal, I guess.
And so much cool stuff here.
So stuff you recognize.
BBC buildings, BBC Sport is based here.
Another ITV building just over there.
And just behind me here, for any football or soccer fans,
Old Trafford, Manchester United Stadium.
So very cool, lots to see here.
So we're having a funny moment here
because we're seeing all these things
that we know from our childhoods.
Blue Peter, which could be filmed there, BBC Sport.
Over here, it says Coronation Street.
So the whole set, we think, of Coronation Street
is behind those walls, which is crazy to think,
because when you watch it on TV, it looks so real.
But yeah, that's so cool, Lucy, I think it actually is.
So I don't know if anyone can relate.
Let me know in the comments if you can,
but I feel like people talk about the birth
and the pregnancy being the most difficult parts
of having a baby, but not enough people
talk about the feeding part
and how difficult it can be to feed a baby.
Obviously, this is not the same for everyone.
Everyone has very different experiences.
But when there's things that can help you along the way,
things that can make that a tiny, tiny bit easier,
then I'm all here for it.
Today's video sponsor is Bamax.
I'm just gonna open the product right here,
get straight into it this morning,
and show you guys something very, very cool,
which I think quite a few of you could find quite useful.
So it comes in this beautiful packaging.
It's a portable breast pump.
I know a load of you guys watching are pregnant
or have had babies or might have babies in the future.
So inside the box, we have the actual product right here,
as well as some accessories.
It also comes with a ton of milk storage bags,
which you can whack in the freezer.
So you can see here, it's got a little screen
to show you how long in minutes you have been pumping
for the little battery button there.
And then the plus and minus here,
there's nine different expression modes,
depending on what works best for you.
Obviously, you can increase it as you go along,
maybe start on the lower setting and build your way up.
It comes with a bottle,
as well as some teats for the bottle as well.
So you can literally finish pumping,
take it off, add the teat to it,
and you are good to go with a bottle of breast milk.
So there's five different massage settings
and nine different pumping settings.
And you can see here, as we go through them,
you might be able to hear it.
They sound slightly different,
and you can see which one works best for you.
And also something that's great
is that you can actually attach these storage bags
to the pump when you're using it.
So it's really handy.
When you're done, you can just take the storage bag off
and it comes with a little lid.
So you can just store it in your fridge or your freezer.
And you can see the little measurements
just down here in the middle, how much you've done.
You've got your name, the date, and your time.
So it's all really handy,
and it makes everything a bit easier
when it comes to pumping.
So once you're all finished,
you can just screw the lid on just like this.
And there you go.
Easy as that.
It's super easy to charge.
You can just plug it in here.
It comes with a little USB cable.
It can actually be used at less than 40 decibels,
which is as quiet as a whisper.
So it's super, super quiet.
But I think the best thing is that it's just portable.
In the hospital, I remember I was using one
that you had to plug into a wall,
but it's so handy that you can just take this out
and about, pop it in your handbag,
or take this nice little case with you out and about
if you need to pump at work or on the go
or whatever you might be doing in the day.
I think it's a really, really handy little extra
having this bag that comes with it.
And the anti-backflow closed system
also keeps the milk fresh.
So I'm gonna leave a link to the product below
if you guys are interested in checking it out.
Thank you again to Bamax for sponsoring today's video.
And let's get on with the rest of the vlog.
All right, guys.
This vlog has now taken a turn into the future.
On this trip, we wanted to kind of capture the trip,
but not in our usual way of filming individual vlogs.
Our method this time was just to film,
pick up the camera when we're doing something,
and then put it together at the end.
So wherever we are in the day or the vlog, welcome back.
We are now, it is another day,
and we are currently driving to the northern quarter,
which is part of Manchester
that we really, really liked before.
Probably our favorite part, I would say.
And there was a food spot, one of the highly rated food,
Lucy, am I going right or straight?
Highest rated food spots in the whole of Manchester
that we didn't have time to check out last time,
but right now we do.
So we are driving there.
We're meeting Kim and Tom there.
They headed out earlier this morning.
So we are about to arrive
and show you guys some more amazing, amazing food.
We haven't eaten today yet, and it's 2 p.m.
So we're so ready for this,
and we're excited to be back in this area
because it's awesome.
We're also going to find a cool coffee shop afterwards,
try a new place.
Wow, these wings, what are they?
Yeah, wings.
Oh, you got some extra wings.
We've arrived at the food spot.
I don't know if you'll be able to hear me
because it's very, very loud,
but we've got a table here with everyone,
and these guys' food, their food has arrived.
Is it good?
I've only had a chip so far, but the chip is fantastic.
Fantastic chip, good review so far.
Sticky chicken.
Yeah, it looks amazing.
Is it good?
Very sticky.
Yeah?
Is it too sticky?
Good.
Is this the right amount of sticky?
Just the right amount of sticky.
Well, no, it is actually good.
