DEMANDING A NEW FRIDGE

now I'm hyped and I'm pumped I'm gonna go do a workout right now let's go I'm calling GE and I'm demanding a new fridge good morning guys got a nice latte here to drink I decided this morning to try my second batch of beans to roast my first batch didn't turn out so good if you saw the video yesterday or last video it didn't turn out too good I found out that it wasn't roasting long enough I just assumed that this thing knew what it was doing when I was roasting the beans nay I had to figure it out myself I gotta tell this thing what to do so I just didn't know I didn't look enough into it yet to see how long it should take and then I kind of did a little more digging found some like recipes if you will that people are using with this machine and I think I'm on something good here this is in the cool down process it's almost done I'm gonna show you what we're working with once I pull this thing out [Music] so has the smoke alarm gone off a few times this morning yeah it has but you know what Welcome to The Roastery everybody this is your new life get used to it so remember the first crack I was talking about yesterday there's a first crack it's essentially when the moisture inside the bean is actually being cooked or whatever and it's it makes it like it starts making the the bean itself make a popping sound so that did not happen yesterday I did not hear it at all and I was like well maybe I just missed it but I knew that you couldn't just miss it like it's out it's very distinct and so today we got it it just took a little longer to get there than I knew so um oh we're done here all right let's check it out [Music] [Applause] thank you look at all that check that out that's all the lake a little um I don't even know what the word is this catches all of the like little debris from the beans and it says way more than yesterday did so that's also promising let's see what we got oh yeah check this out guys these beans actually look roasted today so that in and of itself is a great sign I shouldn't have made a coffee this morning because now I want to make a coffee with these freshly roasted how amazing would that be I don't know why I feel like it's going to smell different opening the lid because this is all like mesh wire so it's not gonna smell any different but I just want to make a latte right now that's what I'm going to do maybe I'll make things with this and see what she thinks it's pretty dark [Music] see that now this is a little bit of a problem I don't think Danielle's gonna be real happy about this so I guess I better clean it up this thing makes a little bit of a mess all the chaff that's what it's called chaff when you open it up it just flies all over the place I don't know I need to find somewhere else to do this because there's a smoke alarm right here and it goes off every time multiple times it's not that Smoky but it's just going right to it and so this is like a mess smoke alarms going off anyways I probably need to find somewhere else to do this it's time for breakfast let's go [Music] breakfast is served Mr Gray [Music] okay I'm back down here because Danielle asked me to make her a coffee I told her about my beans that I just roasted and she specifically asked me to not make her a coffee with the beans I just roasted in case it didn't taste good but I think I'm gonna do it anyways whoa okay okay hold on now these may be roasted too long I uh I put my beans in this old bag I had I don't know they smell like they might be they're much darker than the other beans are let me show you the difference definitely a dark roast so these are mine much darker and these are the other ones they may have been roasted a little too long it's a science guys it's something that you just gotta figure out and I'm figuring it out but we're gonna try it hopefully it doesn't taste burnt [Music] all right here goes nothing [Music] all right all right well at least it looks nice I'm gonna have to see if she does she see if she likes it that's a cute setup you got there you're not supposed to look at that it looks different well I mean it looks different it's the same it looks blonde is it because it's bitter like it's not horrible oh yeah you got it okay so it's not just me I thought yeah are you being really picky okay so it's not the best it's not the worst I've actually had worse coffee I think it's just a little over roasted you saw how dark it was compared to the other ones so I'm figuring it out guys it's my second one it's better than my first not as good as I want it to be but it's gonna be better not bitter so I'm getting there the fact that she'll drink it when it tastes like that tells me it's not the worst thing in the world because she would absolutely be like yeah I can't drink this this is disgusting she wouldn't just lie to me so we're on the right track remember this fridge the one that broke about a month after we moved in here it's only maybe eight months old and remember that we had a technician come repair it fixed it didn't fix it and still had a broken fridge had another technician come and say I can fix this but it's going to break again and again and again and again you need a new unit from GE the problem is that they may not want to replace it well today's the day I'm calling GE and I'm demanding a new fridge now the thing is I don't like doing this kind of thing I don't like making phone calls and having to even though I'm completely in the right I don't like confrontational phone calls and hopefully this one won't be but if they say anything that's like sorry we're not sending you a new fridge it could get ugly and I don't like when I have to get ugly I feel bad about it afterwards I'm just praying and hoping that this is well received and they are in complete agreement with me we can hope it also stinks because this is literally like the only place that we can make a phone call at our house and so I'll have to be out here the entire time which is why I haven't even done it yet because I can't just call like inside and wait and be on hold I have to do it all right here which luckily it's a nice day out so I can't complain and you guys are here to be my moral support I appreciate this guys I really do thanks for being here [Music] okay so she put me on hold he's going to go call them to verify their notes she said she doesn't have their notes which is what he said they would say but she's calling them to um get their notes from them and hopefully she'll be like okay yeah sounds good okay so she said she sees the notes sees where he says replace the fridge but he'd already ordered parts so she's checking to see what exactly she needs to do um but it seems like she's saying that they're going to try to replace it or do something I don't know awesome yeah thank you so much all right good news maybe so she said she's gonna put in a request to do a um oh what does she call it a uh exception exemption exception request something like one of those one of those words where I guess basically she has to get it approved to be replaced but she did put in all the notes she said that there's the black tar Gunk all through the system and so so it should be two to three days before we hear back from them in my email I have to send over the um proof of delivery or purchase or whatever to let them know because they didn't have that on record so I'm sending that over here she's gonna send me an email and I'm gonna send that to her otherwise she was really helpful very understanding didn't question anything you know or not in a way that like felt like she was trying to push back or resist what we were saying she basically was like yeah I see it looks I understand um yeah let's see what we can do to get you a new refrigerator so she's putting in the request and hopefully praying that they will say yep do that replace it I'll let you guys know here soon enough she'll be here back in a couple days now I'm hyped and I'm pumped I'm gonna go do a workout right now let's go foreign so this is like our homeschool playroom coffee bar whatever room I use this setup it's called Tempo it's uh essentially see that little gray thing back there looks really pretty and cute that holds all my weights and it comes with this thing right here where you can hook your iPhone onto this or any they have you know you you select which device you use and they send you one accordingly what you do is you hook this up through HDMI port to the TV and what it does is you can pick and and the app let me show you so the app here you can select different workouts different classes today I'm doing a chest workout so I'm gonna pick this one I can save them these are my favorites so I'm gonna pick this time [Music] all right workouts done feeling good feeling strong it was tough it's been I haven't worked out since we left for our trip so it's been over a week since I've worked out and there's a little struggle getting back into it but it felt good picking it back up I was doing the 75 hard if y'all remember and I stopped doing the two two workouts a day so I kind of stopped the program but the one thing it did help me I did it for like 20 something days it really did help me to at least create the habit of getting up early and working out I didn't today our vacation trip completely threw me off but I'm ready to get back into it pick it back up um oh we got a buddy yeah I don't think you can pick that one up bud my boy's trying to be strong you seeing dad work out so you gonna work out too oh cool did you get up from your nap all right now to spend some time with these kids hang out with them for a little bit and if you guys are interested in this setup it's called tempo
