Today I'm going to show you the fragrances for which I get the most compliments and for which I give the most compliments.
If you're already here, welcome to this video. I'm Leni, on this channel it's called Parfum.
Today we're doing an evergreen, and it's about compliments.
Compliments are not everyone's goal, but a lot of people are happy when they get compliments for their scent.
Compliments are not as often given as you might think, because usually you don't just get approached by strangers.
Even if you have a great scent, on the one hand maybe because you don't even smell it because it doesn't project that much,
on the other hand maybe because you're too shy to talk to someone,
that means in real life relatively little happens.
That's why I'm always in favor of giving compliments, and I always do.
If I think someone smells good, they always get a compliment from me, simply because I think it's beautiful.
And I think you should do that too.
Whenever you think a person smells good, tell them, you can really only win.
People are happy, you might find out what a great scent it is.
And today I'm going to show you the ones for which I personally receive a lot of compliments and for which I also give a lot of compliments.
Men's and women's fragrances are included, unisex fragrances, the whole spectrum.
I'll start with my latest one, you've seen it a lot lately.
This is such an easy grab and that's why I wear it often and that's why you often get the chance to create compliments.
It's the Soleil Neige Parfum from Tom Ford.
And that's such a great no-brainer summer scent, but not so much on the obvious track,
but it's very subtle somehow.
So on the one hand it has such an incredibly beautiful citrusy bergamot,
but then it also has a really great flower combination, so white flowers.
It's somehow also clean.
At the same time, it's also somehow totally creamy and has such a totally smooth, morse base.
It's somehow ... everything somehow, yes.
And he's in a good mood, he's elegant at the same time, he has the summer vibe,
he still fits into every setting.
And although he seems relatively subtle on the skin,
people notice him.
So I wouldn't have thought that he would produce as much as he does,
but I've been mentioned him several times now.
And the people are really ...
So he is described as super pleasant.
It's just ... people want to smell this kind of DNA.
It's nothing particularly sexy or anything,
but it's just ... people just want to be around you.
And that's how I actually want it.
The perfume is relatively expensive.
Take a look at it without perfume.
It's not less beautiful either.
And yes, I really am ...
I wouldn't have thought that I would fall so much in love with this scent.
It came a little bit from behind somehow.
I didn't see that coming, because it's not a breaker scent.
And when you smell it like that, you think, oh yes, it's very nice.
But it's somehow not an explosion.
But the way it works, how it performs, how it affects the environment, is top-notch.
The one you can't help but react to when you wear it
is the Silky Woods from Goldfield & Banks.
Oh, that's a really, really great ...
I would say ...
semi-leather ...
Gourmand.
A smoky leather Gourmand.
In other words, you have this beautiful leather note with a little tobacco as a base.
Then you have Ilani Lamont Saffran.
These two notes together give the scent a radiance.
Similar to the bottle.
You can really orientate yourself on the bottle design.
That says a lot about how the scent works.
And it's a kind of ... yes, it's a kind of golden radiance.
It's totally positive.
It's somehow in a good mood without being trivial and somehow cheap.
But it's totally ...
I wouldn't necessarily say noble.
Because with noble I always associate a certain distance.
And it's inviting and warm.
But it's somehow high quality.
It's accessible.
It's approachable.
And then you have these great Gourmand tones with this Oud Vanille combination.
And the Oud is not too strong.
The Oud is just strong enough to give this Vanille a bit of dirtiness.
And I just think that in combination with the incense that is still hovering around
gives it a really great sexy radiance.
And because it also projects well, it just creates reactions.
This is such a catnip scent.
This is one that you don't necessarily want in your environment.
But you want to go to it.
You want to get as close as possible to the person who wears Silky Woods.
And I find it neither feminine nor masculine.
It's really one of those classic, right in the middle scents for me.
For men and women.
And one of the most beautiful scents I own.
And especially when you're single.
But not necessarily when you're going away or on a date.
But when you're single, to wear it as a signature.
I think that's a very promising combination.
And then one that is still one of my top 10 compliments
is still the Filk by Archinesia.
I'm still into it, even after two years now.
It's the most beautiful summer scent I own.
This is a fig, iris, sandalwood scent.
It is wonderful.
So nice and fresh.
Fruity.
Not too sweet.
Totally maritime.
You immediately think of Mallorca.
And the DNA itself is fresh.
And the fresh DNA usually doesn't last that long.
And usually they don't radiate that far either.
But I don't know what to tell you.
I also get compliments with it after 8 hours.
It somehow binds to my skin.
It stays.
And people smell it.
And are so blown away by it.
Even after a very long time.
That's why I can't confirm at all that it has a bad durability.
And not even a bad projection.
But it does something for you.
Out of an 8, it makes you a 10.
It gives you a certain esprit.
Or how do the Gen Z say?
It gives you aura points.
It's an aura upgrade for you.
More for the women.
It's a very feminine scent.
But I think because of this elegant freshness.
And at the same time this wink of the eye.
The fig, the fineness of the iris and the sandalwood.
It's such a noble combination.
All this together makes this scent a perfect summer scent for every day.
Could also be a signature.
It was my most worn scent the year before last.
Then I have the 1888 by Casamorati.
And this is a special case.
This is a similar to Black Tie by Celine.
When I have people in my studio.
And show them this scent.
They are all in love with it.
Especially the women.
So this is a hot tip for you men.
Look at this 1888.
This is a very strong, intense, but still very polite, unorthodox amber scent.
This is an amber scent with aromatics.
With coriander.
With a beautiful garden nail.
Ylang Ylang and Neroli is also indicated.
I have to say, I can't get Ylang Ylang out of there.
But this one has a special, never-smelled, relatively unsweetened, but still aromatically playful amber DNA.
It's very, very magical.
I dropped a pussy.
That's the only thing that annoys me about these Casamorati flacons.
You always have to be so careful, even when spraying.
Where is the pussy? Is it flying down again?
But this scent is one that I would never give back from my collection.
This is the ultimate compliment giver.
I promise you.
And I think women could wear it too.
Even if I see it more in men.
But it is so special in its DNA.
And that's why it's not a blind buy.
I would really advise you to test it.
Because the more you can fall in love with it, the more it can't be your own direction.
So don't let my description distract you too much.
What it is, it is ultra special.
It stands out.
It has such a blatant performance that people can't get around it.
Theoretically, two sprays are enough for it.
You can go up to six sprays, but two sprays would be enough.
And I love it and all the women who come to my studio love it too.
I'm so glad I have it.
Then a scent with a similar effect to the 1888.
I don't know.
It's actually for women.
It's called Woman.
It has Woman in the name.
I think men would get away with it.
There are also men's pendants.
My husband wears that.
I'm talking about the Sunshine Woman from Amouage.
And the Sunshine Woman is actually one of my favorite scents this year again.
I'm just addicted to this dirty summer scent.
That doesn't sound nice.
But what I mean is, it has such an alcoholic note.
It has such a black johannis berry liqueur together with light tobacco.
A stinger and a very noticeable lavander.
It smells like dried apricots.
It's the ultimate summer vibe.
But just a little bit of the feeling like you're sitting at a beach bar.
I don't know, five tables away.
Someone is smoking a cigarette.
You have a little bit of the smoke in the air.
And that's what makes this scent so great.
Otherwise it would be way too lovely and way too plain and way too common.
But the fact that it's a little bit alcoholic and a little bit smoky
and then blends into this great vanilla hard with this lavander
and these aromatic notes like the stinger and also a very nice patchouli
makes this scent so complex, happy, but at the same time somehow deep.
In the sense of interesting, exciting.
A woman you want to get to know.
It's just great.
And it lasts all day.
It also has a murder performance.
It lasts 12 hours plus.
It still shines after 12 hours.
I love it so much.
And now I'm already here with the refill
on the level of the Amouage writing.
I bought it myself.
And I used up all of it myself.
You have to admit that.
And that's 100ml, right?
Yes, that's 100ml.
And it's really ... I don't know.
Maybe it'll last another year or so.
And then I'll build a new one.
Amouage Sunshine is one of the best creations by Amouage ever for women.
And Amouage is a very niche brand.
I think it's the least niche.
And it just stands out.
And what's really special about it
is this positive, happy vibe
with this smoked sexiness.
I think we've only had niche fragrances so far.
Now let's do one of the cheaper ones.
This is a designer.
I've had it for years.
And very often when I wear it, I get a kind of positive feedback.
It's Mont Guerlain from Guerlain.
It's one of the most beautiful fragrances out there.
Designer niche, back and forth.
It's a great vanilla, lavender scent.
Very lovely.
Very relaxing.
Very aromatic.
Somehow inviting.
Beautiful.
This scent is beautiful.
It's not primarily sweet.
It's not primarily sexy.
But it's beautiful.
It's the woman you marry.
And the woman you imagine at home.
It has a great motherly quality.
And my children love it too.
They love it when I wear it.
It's especially good for children.
So I think maybe it's the lavender
that subconsciously relaxes the children.
I don't know.
The vanilla is also something that children like a lot.
There are also a few floral notes in it.
But basically, lavender, vanilla is what you get.
It's very simple in itself.
It's made really well.
The quality is great.
This is the intense version.
I already have the normal version.
It's just as beautiful.
I can recommend it to any woman
who doesn't want to spend 200 euros on a scent.
But who likes a scent
with which she is always well dressed.
And which will cause reactions in the environment.
It's like that.
And you have to think about it.
Probably only 10% of all people
who think your scent is great
will say it to your face.
So I always think about
the dark number of compliments.
The dark compliments that you don't get
because people are too shy.
This is a safe bank.
Now comes one
where the compliment history
is not that big.
Because it's just one
that is not carried by so many people.
But I have already given a compliment for them.
I caught someone at the fair in Milan
with
Tragedy of Lord George.
And I didn't recognize him right away.
I just recognized
that this is an incredibly great,
great, great,
exciting, unusual scent.
And of course
I subconsciously recognized him again.
But when he said the track Lord George
I thought, wow.
I also wear it myself.
It's primarily a gentleman's scent.
And what makes it so special
is its unusual combination
of ingredients.
And here you have
a soap brandy
tonka story.
So tonka, soap,
brandy.
It's somehow
the best of all worlds.
You really have this soapiness
of the soap.
It's not really soap in it.
There are probably some emotional notes that seem very soapy.
Or maybe a jasmine that seems very soapy.
Who knows. The notes you see are not always complete.
Then you have this brandy note
that is subtle.
So not everyone who smells it for the first time
will say, okay, there is something alcoholic in it.
And then you have this tonka bed.
This gentle, great tonka bed
that gives depth
together with an amber chord or something.
And that gives
one of the noblest gentlemen's scents
that exists.
It's like a
rich man's scent.
It's like a rich man's scent.
The story of Pel Helgens to Lord George
is that he is the patriarch
in this whole story.
I think young men could also wear it.
At first glance, you think
ah, vintage.
But the young men would also look
incredibly good in it.
It's for old and young.
It's also for some women who dare to wear
a little more masculine scents.
And it's also ...
We once had a babysitter
who was on the eco-trail.
So totally alternative.
She couldn't do anything with perfume.
But one time I came up
and I was wearing Lord George.
And then she said,
Leni, I don't know what it is.
Normally I'm not interested in perfume.
But you have to tell me what you're wearing
because I want to have it.
So he speaks to people on a completely
different level and he also looks
very unperfumy.
And I think that's why he might have addressed her like that.
She was really enchanted
by him. He's worth every cent.
This Portraits Collection is
partly not really good
The Lord George is one of the better ones.
And because of its effect,
I think it's worth every cent.
The next one is for people who want to go undercover.
Who don't necessarily want to pay a price
that they wear a perfume and people
just think you have the best smell of your own
in the world. When I think about it,
even this one and the next one, both apply to them.
And this is
the Hello Papier from Duplique.
It's a wonderful molecule scent
that goes great with your skin.
It has something Japanese.
It has rice steam and sesame notes
together with
great synthetic wood notes.
There's moss in it,
a little mimosa.
It's really nice.
And
he enchanted me.
I got it in Paris.
And it's more feminine, I'd say.
People jump on it.
You just think the person smells good.
You don't even realize that your perfume is behind it.
As I said, this is the undercover scent
for people who want to collect compliments
for their great smell of their own.
Then I have here, I think,
my most compliment scent ever.
The Musquee Lapeau from Pierre Guillaume.
Here the Eau de Toilette, here the Extrait.
Both are equally good.
The Extrait is a little better,
but there's not really a big difference.
You have to be careful with this one.
It's a little bit easy to tip.
In that sense, I don't mind
that this one has a flacon.
Because here, when it tips,
it smells like Maggi.
Luckily for me, it hasn't tipped yet.
But for example,
it has tipped twice with my girlfriend.
Two different flacons have been tipped.
And the great thing about this one
is that it's also a skin scent.
A salty,
sexy skin scent
from the proximity.
It doesn't project very far.
It's an intimate scent.
Actually also super suitable for dates,
if you think about it.
It has a rosemary in it.
The rosemary adds
an incredibly fine aroma
in addition to the synthetic wood notes.
Ambroxan is good in it.
However, it doesn't stand out
as much as, for example, Sauvage.
You don't notice the Ambroxan per se.
You just notice, aha,
there's kind of a sea breeze
in the scent.
There are also notes like
Lange Lange Zähler,
of which you don't notice much.
You notice the aldehyde quite well.
All in all, it's a skin scent
where you just think,
oh man, why does the person smell so good?
It makes you addicted a bit.
It's very, very, very,
very attractive.
It's also perfect for the summer.
You can wear it all year round,
but in the summer, of course,
it shines so brightly
because the fragrances unfold a little better
The best season for it is spring to summer.
So it actually fits wonderfully.
I don't think you have a chance
to get any compliments.
However, people have to get close to you.
So that's more of an undercover scent.
And last but not least,
one for which I have already received many compliments
and for which I have already given compliments
to other people who have worn it.
It's TARDIS by KANA.
And that's when I have to describe
a perfect lady's scent
that most people probably like,
but is still not
totally
a plain designer,
is not boring,
then TARDIS would probably come out.
It's such a wonderful, great,
such a woody, sweet,
a little flowery gourmand.
Also with a good portion of almonds.
A little flower play is also in the background,
but it's basically an almond flower,
a heliotrope, a vanilla flower
and at the bottom a beautiful
tonka bean with morsels.
Wow!
This is one of the most feminine,
greatest fragrances,
which is also similar
to the Montgarrelat,
which also has a motherly quality,
which has something very warm,
inviting,
embracing.
And I'm such a fan of TARDIS.
I personally always quote
our TV evenings with Julius.
And I think it's an incredibly beautiful
cuddly scent.
But I also wear it during the day.
I wear it relatively often.
Somehow it always works,
it also fits into all situations.
It has the perfect mix of nonchalance,
elegance,
seriousness,
but not too serious either.
So it's actually
a Swiss pocket knife.
It's really never out of place.
Also in terms of scent,
it fits in the summer,
but you can also wear it
well in winter.
The flower already has something autumnal,
the flowers then give something very spring-like again.
So wherever you want to push it,
you can push it.
It always fits.
That's why it's my favorite now.
I never really put
these caps on again.
Women, if you don't know the TARDIS yet,
you really have to take a look at it.
There are also in smaller sizes.
Kana also has sample sets.
You have to smell it, it's great.
So that was your task now.
Feel free to write it in the comments
for which you get the most compliments
or even a compliment.
Some people never get compliments.
Especially very, very good-looking people
often get the least compliments.
In this respect,
write your best horse in the stable
in the comments.
If you can't think of anything,
write your favorite emoji.
That helps me with the engagement
and the YouTube gods.
If you want to see more from me,
subscribe to the channel
if you haven't already.
I look forward to seeing you in the next video.
I wish you a wonderful day.
Take care, bye.
