You join me on my second... Is that lid on? Yeah. On my second cup of coffee of the day.
Welcome back to a new video. Hope you guys are all doing well. Hope you're having a good festive
old time right now. As our Christmas song said, Christmas is here.
And it really is here, except it's not here in our apartment just yet, because if you just look
around with me quickly, you may notice the absence of a Christmas tree. And that is because without
repeating myself over and over in vlogs lately talking about the renovations, we have been very
busy renovating. We have been very busy trying to balance both. We've been trying to obviously keep
the channel going and make some fun vlogs and do all the stuff that we need to do for our main job,
which is YouTube. And on the other hand, renovate a property. So it's been a balancing act lately,
but we're pretty much there. It does mean though, we haven't really had time to put up a Christmas
tree. Why does it never get bought? Why do I always feel like a flat white every day?
You crave certain foods here and there. I don't always feel like fish and chips or pasta,
but every day I want a coffee. It is a habit, but it's not just a habit for me. I genuinely
enjoy and want my coffee every single day. I guess that's the same for a lot of coffee
drinkers out there. But anyway, yes, today we are going to be decorating the apartment. Finally,
we need to go and get the Christmas tree. It's in storage at the moment. It's our old Christmas
tree from years ago in the UK. So we need to go and get that out, check the lights work,
we actually have some decorations. So that is part of today's plan. We also very exciting
and the blog coming soon focused on this. Our new car is arriving very, very soon, which means I
need to return my dad's car, which he's kindly let us borrow for months now. So I want to go and
get that washed before we return it, get it all spruced up inside and out, fill up with a tank of
fuel and just get it in a nice condition to give it back to him. But yeah, new car coming very soon,
very excited about that. Just jumping in here, I want to show you guys something very, very cool.
With what we do, one of the cool things about our job is that we often get to try out cool products
from cool companies. And today we are working with a company called Honor and they have sent
us their brand new smartphone to try out. Smartphone, who says smartphone anymore? It
is a smartphone, but they've sent us this, their new phone, the Honor 50. I've got it here. We've
been trying it out for the last couple of days and they have sponsored today's vlog. I'm going to
quickly, look how thin that is. I'm going to quickly talk to you about some of these features
because this is an awesome phone. If you're looking for an upgrade, if you're looking for a
new phone, a very capable phone, then let me quickly tell you about some of these features.
I would say one of the coolest features about this phone is a thing called dual mode video
recording. What that means is you can use two of the cameras at the same time into one video
without any editing afterwards. If Lucy and I wanted to film like a quick little section where
we're both in the shot, this could be cool for our vlogs. We can do that very easily. We can record
with the front camera and the back camera at the same time. You can also record with two of the
back cameras at the same time, for example, to get a wide shot and then a close-up shot. If some of
you guys are like me, a little bit nerdy with the stats and the spec and stuff, this has a 120 Hertz
display, meaning when you're scrolling through menus and opening apps and things, it is super
buttery smooth. The rear camera is 108 megapixels, so you're getting a lot of detail in. And another
one of my top favourite features of this phone is the charging. This thing charges to 80% in 20
minutes. So if you are like me, sometimes you wake up, you haven't charged your phone overnight and
you need to leave the house, you need to go out, you can put this phone on charge whilst you're in
the shower or something and you will have 80% charge in 20 minutes. It'll get to 100% in 45
minutes. So really, really super quick charging. The phone itself is really, really nice design.
It's very thin. It's light. The cameras look very cool on the back and it's got these smooth
rounded edges. So really modern, really sleek design. So make sure you check out the link below.
We'll put the product details in the description of this video if you're interested in this phone.
It comes in a really nice box. You get that experience when you first open it. It comes with
charging cables, et cetera, et cetera. So I hope that will interest some of you guys. I always like
trying out new tech and this is a very, very capable phone indeed. Enjoy the rest of the vlog.
I take you to all the best places, don't I? A car wash. We are at the hand car wash this time,
giving it a proper full inside and out clean before handing this car back. It's an exciting day out
for you, isn't it? It is, yeah. I said to Lucy, got a really exciting plan today. We're gonna get your coat
on, get your shoes on, taking you out, get in the car. Here we are. Here we are.
You know when you get those phone calls and it's not a phone call that you wanted,
but you then realise that it's a little bit of a first world problem. Well, that just happened
and our new car has been delayed by four days. I look really red and I've just washed my face and
I think I went a little bit too rough. I've got red cheeks. Oh, I'm just annoyed that the car's been
delayed. Yeah, so our new car is now not coming for another four days, which is fine. Perspective,
bigger picture, still a little bit annoying when you've waited in all day and you're very, very,
very excited about a new car, but nevermind. So anyway, at least I managed to get my dad's car
sorted to give back to him. So we had it all cleaned up. Then I went to get fuel. That was
another thing. Maybe that's why I'm red in the face as well. Do you know how much fuel costs at
the moment in the UK? This has been one of our biggest surprises, I suppose, of moving back here
when we first went to fill up fuel. It's so expensive. It's £1.50 per litre. When we were
last in the UK, it was about a pound a litre, even under a pound, 96 or seven pence per litre
a few years ago when we were here. So now it's like another half on top and that car has a big
petrol tank. I obviously wanted to give it back to my dad with a full tank. So it costs over £100
for a full tank of petrol, which is, or diesel, which is crazy. I think the most I ever used to
put in a car was about £80, £70 or £80. So over £100 for one tank of fuel. Very, very expensive.
Very expensive. But anyway, let me show you what we got in the shop because this evening my sister
and Mike, Emily and Mike, you guys know Emily and Mike, are coming over for a film night. Let me
move some stuff so you can actually see me. So this is the first time that they're coming over
for a film night. So we picked up some snacks. We got some sweet and salty popcorn, some Doritos,
cheesy flavoured Doritos, dairy milk dame bar, which looks pretty nice, a dairy milk fruit and nut,
some candy kittens wild strawberry flavour, some candy kittens very cherry flavour,
some, this is a lot loose. We got a lot of stuff. Some galaxy minstrels, they're delicious,
and some sweets from the natural confectory company. No artificial colours, no artificial
flavourings. Sour squirms. Oh and these. Some more chips here. Chipotle and lime flavour. Should
be nice hopefully. So they are going to be here in about an hour and a half. Still need to edit
a vlog, tidy this place up a little bit. We're going to get, I think we're getting some noodles
this evening and then we're just going to chill, enjoy this place, get a movie on. Comment below
a movie recommendation right now. Whatever you're doing, stop what you're doing other than watching
this video and comment one movie recommendation. We're loving watching movies at the moment on the
new TV so we need some inspiration for some movies. Okay, just suddenly realised, we suddenly realised
what the time was and George had to finish and edit before Emily and Mike got here because it's
going live tomorrow morning and we won't have time this evening or tomorrow morning to do it.
So George was doing that and I suddenly thought, oh we're meant to put the Christmas tree up today,
it's already getting way into December so we need to get it up. I've just rushed it so quickly,
I was trying to vlog a little bit but I was in such a rush but I think considering how quickly
it was, I'm going to turn the camera around in a second and you can see it but I think,
just straightening a bow, that's better. I think, I think I've done a pretty good job here so, wait,
let me turn the TV off a sec because that looks a bit rubbish. This is our Christmas tree this year,
what do you guys think? So I've got the presents all wrapped underneath it already
and it's just really nice, it's got a nice, ah the star's gone wonky at the top, that's no good.
There you go, that's better. So we've got a nice silver glittery star and then a ton of
different decorations, these little skis here, some bows, some stars. This was from our first
flat, our first Christmas in our home, George and Lucy 2016. There's some nice memories here,
a little bear here as well, it's really cute, very special. Reindeers, little guitar,
baby's first Christmas, you might remember we picked that up the other day and we said although
he's not here yet, he still exists so technically it's Bump's first Christmas. We've got some
little cinnamon sticks and stuff but I'm really happy with it and we've also got this little
decorative table ornament here as well. I think that looks really nice when you walk in,
not too big, not too small, it actually fits really nicely in here, the ceiling height's
pretty much perfect for it, there's maybe about a foot above it so I think that's really nice.
Very warm now though, being in a flat we rarely actually have our heating on but the flat above
us and below us kind of give us all this heat so we've actually got the windows open and my jumper's
off so they're going to be here in a few minutes. George is in the shower getting ready literally
six minutes from now and then I think the plan is to walk down into town, pick up the noodles
and bring them back here, be nice getting some fresh air and a bit of exercise in before choosing
a movie and having a Christmassy movie night. I don't know if we're watching a Christmas film
or if we just call it a Christmas movie night because it's nearly Christmas and we're watching
a movie but I don't know. Yeah all good, very productive day, frustrating about the car but
it's all good, it doesn't really matter that much, just very very excited as I'm sure you
can imagine and so was I but Monday, Monday it is. I'm just going to see this perspective.
Hello! Hello, good evening. I'm trying all the views. Yeah welcome, this is the first time
Emily and Mike are seeing the place finished so Lucy's going to give a little bit of a tour.
Thank you mate, that's a real marble that is. I know I can tell. No it's not, it's really not.
I like that little uh. Yeah it looks like it's floating doesn't it? Yeah. If you can't see the
shelf, Zach did those for us. Yeah thank you. Oh my hair, sorry I'm finding you on vlogging,
I would have made an effort. It's all right, no one minds. I'm joking, I mean you look lovely.
No one minds, not yet you look alright. You need to see the snacks we got in a minute.
It's nice isn't it? Nice bit of spruce. Yes, yeah. Guess how much this lamp is? Norwegian
spruce. If you know the answer don't say. Oh. Well unless you're guessing it. £8.99. £2,000.
Pesos. Yeah what currency are we using? Pesos. £30. How much is it? £6. £6, was it?
Ikea but feel it, feel it gently. Very thin.
That's really good. A cone you put around your pet's neck. Yeah it's got, it's got the look though.
I love how it looks, I think it's well over £6. Yeah very neat. They couldn't even afford
a basement. Oi. Oh I'm in the bathroom. Gotta be careful with your money you know.
Bathroom. Feel free to have a shower if you fancy it. The last time you filmed me in a bathroom I
let's insert that clip here shall we? Are we ready? We're now going to go to Evan White's
room. This is all ours by the way. This whole thing is ours. We'll get going to the gym,
we'll work out in the house. Come in. Oh lovely desk area. Wow edit spot. Editing my menu. Oh
your room's huge. So nice. Look at this place. And the balcony actually connects which is great
it's like two separate rooms but you can still hang out together. This is a lovely bathroom area
and I don't know if you've laid any on the floor. Oh very nice. We're gonna need some pixel blur.
There's a lovely shower in here anyway. Enjoy your shower.
And I think. On that note. That concludes the Juicy Club room tour. And that is what
happened in Bali. Luckily I had a giant flannel to cover it all up. A giant flannel okay.
A little baby room. Oh yeah Mike Cousins is in the wardrobe.
They're like all his jackets. All my jackets? All your jackets are in there.
Oh no I think I might have done actually. There's a lot of stuff in there.
Oh you did? Did you see it last time? Oh okay yeah yeah. Yeah. I love like the little denim
jacket and stuff. We're just discussing who's going to fall asleep first when we watch a film
later. I reckon George first, me second, Mike third. Julian fourth. Emily calls our baby Julian.
That is not the name. We also, you also said. This is so funny. We had loads of comments in
and then there's a time stamp and I say Andy. And everyone's like you're calling your baby
Andy. You've let him sleep. I was like no we're not. It's not the baby's name. It's not Andy.
It's Julian. Andy's a lovely name. It is a lovely name. I've got a good friend called Andy. It'll
be like um Toy Story. Andy. Oh yeah yeah. Don't get her to pronounce that dairy milk. Which one?
Gone. What is this? Or am I judging the play of you? Is it Dame? Dame. Is it? What do you think
it is? I thought it was Dime. I thought it was Dime. Definitely Dime. Right. Dame. Dame. Fair
enough. Duchess. No. That's both ladies. So we got that. This I'm going to give a nine out of ten.
Oh wow okay cool. Another nine out of ten. Fruit and nut good so far. Minestrals. Yep. I'm gonna
go eight out of ten. Okay. Yep. Sour squirms. Yeah they're good. Have you had them before? I
don't think I have. Okay they're very good. Are they nice? They're like natural. Oh two out of ten.
These we've never had but we saw them in Waitrose and Thought. Oh that's another one I've struggled
to say. Chipotle. What lime? Oh chipotle. Chipotle. I think it's chipotle right? And lime.
I say chipotle. Chipotle. I'm looking forward to the two chipote.
Yep. You're going to edit this bit out aren't you? Yeah this is going to be a long long long edit.
And sweet and sour popcorn. Individually wrapped. Very cozy. Yeah individually wrapped popcorn and
we got these but Lucy started them. Tangy cheese. To be fair. Ten out of ten. Really? See I prefer
the Cool Original. Nah. Although Cool Original. Are they cheesy or are they not cheesy? I always,
I actually know the answer. I didn't think they were but they actually are aren't they? They've
got cheese powder in them. Yeah. They don't taste of cheese. No they don't. We're talking there's
a smoke covering your face. So there is this crazy light show off the pier this evening.
That's so cool. I don't know the purpose of that. It's filling up the whole sky.
Do you think planes get interrupted by that? Look it's really going high in the sky.
That's crazy. Wow. So there is some carol singers. Listen to that down at this restaurant.
Look at that.
We have just ordered our noodles. We are very hungry. Very excited for this. It's been a while.
This is our favourite little noodle place called Mr Toys Flying Wok. One of our favourites when
we lived here years ago and since moving back we've been coming here a few times.
Haven't we? We'll show you what we've got in a minute. We've ordered a lot of food.
That's one of my strengths today. She has the goods. Let's go.
That was well weird. He like cramped and I was like this. Really? Weird. You need some food.
Okay I need to apologise because we have done the thing that we hate most about when we watch
other people's vlogs which is when they say they're going to get all this nice food and
then they don't show the food. We've eaten most of our food. We do have some left over. Emily and
Mike are crunching away eating popcorn in the background and this is I'm afraid what is left
over of our food. It doesn't look very nice anymore. Can I eat some of it? Yeah you can.
So we got some noodles. It really doesn't look very nice anymore. Do you want a few different
things? Yeah we're having some candy now, some confectionery. We've got some fried rice and some
more noodles and some chicken but we are on to the sweet stuff and we are watching a Christmas film
called Love Hard. Verdict so far? Yeah it's all right. It's not the best film ever is it? It's
made us laugh. It has made us laugh yeah. It's got some slightly strange messages. Yeah it's not
2021 is it? A little bit interesting but anyway. Promotes lying about yourself to find love.
That's what I did with Lucy. Okay Emily and Mike just left. Really nice evening and we are going
to go to bed now. It's 11pm. We have just shown them a few episodes of a show we're watching
right now called People Just Do Nothing. Lucy and I are finding it hilarious. If you like
mockumentaries, the office UK version. British London gritty kind of thing. Give it a go BBC iPlayer.
People Just Do Nothing. It's very very funny. Anyway we're gonna head to bed now. Thank you so
much for spending the day with us watching the vlog. Hope you're enjoying these vlogmas
videos. I know it hasn't been that festive yet but now we have the tree up so thanks for watching.
