The WORST Part of Being Back in the UK

Right guys, just had my booking appointment. I met my midwife for the first time as well. She's a very nice lady. I think we're going to get on well. Here she is. That was a great wave. And if you guys don't know why we're laughing, this is my sister, who is going to be Lucy's midwife. That's why we're laughing. We're laughing because it's the second time we've filmed this and the first time we did a really awkward wave and said, no, do it again. And then I just did it again. Yeah. So I've had some bloods taken. I've had, um, some other things taken, which we don't need to go into detail about. Um, and just loads of questions basically. Emily's been very nosy, but it's all part of the job. Um, and it all looks good, doesn't it? Yeah. Heartbeat scan. Exactly. All really good. Doppler. So this was like, this would have been the one that we would have had if we were in the UK earlier. Around eight weeks. So, um, yeah, a little bit, the order's a little bit skew-ith, but all good. All good. And now we're going to get some lunch together, which is good news. We feel really lucky and grateful to have my sister on board because, um, any questions Lucy's had during the whole time, just been able to ask. So we're going to go out for a little bit of lunch now with possibly thinking pizza. We were thinking of going for a full roast dinner, but a little bit heavy for lunch. Oh, nice. Um, and there's so many new restaurants and things in our hometown, which Lucy and I need to kind of explore and get our heads round because there's loads going on here. So we are going to have a wander down to town, bring you guys along and see what we can pick up for lunch. Yeah. These are two engaged ladies. Two single ladies. All the single ladies. We're just a bit awkward when we all get together. We're like, yeah, in a funny way. Yeah. There was a picture of me and Lucy, like having a couple of beers and chilling out in Bali and it was just us two. The boys were on the other side and we saw the picture and we were like, all right. And she's like two single ladies. But technically until you're married, when you write the forms, we are all single still. It's not too late. No, it's not. It's a bit late for us now. Come on then. You can do it. Yes. Two more. I'll have a little bit of pepper, please. Yes, please. Thank you. How do I do it? Is it running already? Oh, it is. So we've come out for pizzas. Emily and I have gone pretty boring, but I always like a margarita. These are really good. These are sour though. This is a new restaurant. Is it new here? It's been here a good few years. Oh, okay. Was it? Okay. It's not a new restaurant, but we've never been here. Lucy's got the quattro formaggi. Looks really good. And we can sit outside. It was raining this morning. We were saying it's like we're in Rome. It's lovely. And the temperature is just right. We just walked down to the beach, which is 30 seconds for us. It is evening time. It's a little bit cold because we were looking out the window and, oh, it's all right. We'll go this way. And we saw the most stunning sky. Yes, we caught it. Okay. Flip the camera around in a second and show you this sky because it is stunning. Have a look at that. It's really nice there as well. Yeah. The tide is all the way out. So the sea is way back. People are walking along. People are sitting down, chilling. Lucy is freezing. How far do you want to go? Not too far. It is so nice. Wow. Look at the lighting. We've been missing the sunsets and the skies and stuff, haven't we? I think this is our height difference. Pretty much is. Not going to get Lucy walking on this wall when she's pregnant. But yeah, it's nice to come down here. We've been so, so busy. You mentioned both of us in the shot. Okay, I'll come down. It's fine. There's new parents behind us with a buggy. Every time we see... Let me come down. Then we can vlog together. Every time we see buggies and stuff, we're looking out like, what is that model? Should we get that one? What's that one? We've been super busy with everything going on. It's nice to take 5, 10, 20 minutes to walk down here in the evening. It doesn't take long. We need to do it every day. Yeah, we're 20 minutes away. Seconds. Yes, 20 seconds away from this, which is just insanely nice, insanely stunning. There's a new restaurant here that we want to try. I think I mentioned this. Did you? I'm getting confused of what I've mentioned in vlogs and what I haven't mentioned. But there's a new restaurant. We're going to come for breakfast, I think. Bayside Social. Kinney Cup. One MasterChef fun fact. He did. So the owner of this restaurant won MasterChef and he's from our town. This isn't the restaurant he opened when he won. There's already another one called Pitch and Worthy. Yeah, this is the new one. I want to also say a huge thank you to you guys for all the recent comments on all the recent vlogs. We've been reading through a ton of comments and liking them, replying to as many as we can. And we've been getting such nice messages. Lucy, are you serious? Do you want me to do it? Why are you saying I'm serious? Because every time we walk out, that same shoelace becomes undone. And Lucy refuses to do a double knot. Double knots mean it's more effort when you take them off again. Always double knot. Bending over for me is difficult because I've got a huge stomach in the way now. So do I. You've never had a problem with that, but it's new to me. Yeah, huge thank you to everyone who's been watching and commenting. We've been reading them all and replying to loads of nice messages. All the move back to the UK. It's been a lot, hasn't it? Are we going as far as stressful? Yes, we are. Okay, we're going as far as stressful. Recently it has been a little bit stressful. It's a swimming pool here and the smell of chlorine is just the nicest smell. I just want to show you this sky again. Let's try and focus. Wow. Just wow. Anyway, we are going to... Yeah, I can smell that. We are going to end off this vlog here. My arm is starting to ache. And we're just going to enjoy a little walk along here.
