POSTPARTUM CLOTHING HAUL AFTER BABY #7
I love American Eagle and I decided to grab a few things for me to wear after having baby #7. What do you think of what I got for this American Eagle haul.
What's up you guys? Recently we got a haul of baby clothes and shared with you.
At the same time I ordered myself some winter clothes. So I just got these in and I want to
show you guys what I got. Sweater weather is my most favorite weather so I wanted to
refresh my wardrobe a little bit. Some of the things I had from last year are like
stained, don't fit, have holes in it. So I placed an amazing order with one of my favorite stores
to shop from. Okay first these pants are new. I love them. They're comfy. American Eagle
is like the store that I would have thought was just for teenagers and that I shouldn't shop at
now that I'm a mom of seven. But they have the best jeans. They're comfy, they fit great, and
they don't wear out. Like I've bought jeans from Target or wherever and they don't last. So I have
loved my American Eagle jeans. I just needed a size bigger because you know that postpartum bod
is not what it used to be. That's okay. Also this t-shirt is from Aerie also. They have like oversized,
comfortable, my favorite shirts ever. Like right now I'm living in big shirts because it's really
easy to nurse in. You can just tuck baby right up under your shirt. You don't need a nursing cover.
They're also just like super cozy. I'm gonna preface this because I know all y'all are gonna
say the same thing. You bought 12 of the same exact sweater. They're all different. They all do
look alike. But I like what I like and I know what I like and I'm okay with it. Let's start with this
white t-shirt. Doesn't look like much but this is a closet staple. It's gonna be real cozy, lightweight,
something you can wear with everything. Something you can wear in the summer with shorts or in the
winter under a sweater. So I love it. I probably own a lot of this. Alright, this sweater. The color
looked different online. I love it. I don't hate it. It is a- it might be like a little doo-doo brown
but I actually really like it. It's so cozy. If you have never shopped at Aerie, you are missing
out. They have, again, the softest, comfiest, like I could just live in this and I would be fine.
Now here's the part where things get a little familiar but I love these all for different
reasons. This one is from American Eagle Outfitters. They are like partner stores with Aerie so you can
shop from both at the same time, throw things from both stores in your cart, check out at once. It's
great. This is so thick and cozy and it feels like a blanket. It's a cropped waist so it's like-
sits higher which is nice with the high-rise pants. The seams are like inside out. It's kind of got
this like drop sleeve situation which I really like. It's different than what I normally buy.
I normally buy like oversized, like baggy, longer. It's got like cream and like a gray coloration.
It's not one solid- do you see that? It's definitely got some like cream splotches and gray splotches
but it looks like one color from far away. It's not but it's not in a bad way. Like a really nice
way that kind of breaks it up so it doesn't look boring. Alright, this one is thinner. It's like a
thermal but an oversized thermal. It's the softest thing I've ever put on my body and I'm obsessed
with it. I really love the waffle texture. It's this really pretty like oatmeal cream color.
When I say it's soft, I mean like it just feels good. You ever put something on and you're like
this feels so good. I never want to take it off. That's how I feel about this. I don't really wear
it over top of a t-shirt so let's just be clear about that. Yeah, it's just big and cozy which is
my favorite way to dress and be and live in the winter months. This one looks pretty similar you
might say. However, it's a gray and it does not have- John is laughing at me so much right now.
It does not have a waffle texture. It's ripped so up and down stripes. It also has this split
detail in the side and again this one- okay this is soft. How do you describe this, John? I'm trying
to describe this for you guys. This is like not fuzzy soft. When I say soft, I just mean like the
material kind of melts with your body. This is fuzzy soft. This is like a fleecy blanket, really cozy
you know. I could live in this too. That one's a little more gray. They both have this little
triangle detail. A little bit different texture. Okay, this one is a cream colored waffle textured
thing. How- John, stop it. This is so much judgment but he has only black, gray, and white shirts in
this closet. This one is thick. You can see, right? You can tell this one's like thin like a thermal.
This one is a sweater. It's really thick and cozy. It also has this neck situation that's really nice.
It's like not quite a turtleneck because I don't like turtlenecks. They make me feel like I'm
suffocating. It's like not restricting but it still has that same like look and feel to it.
It's just- I say the same words to describe all of their clothes but that's really the best thing I
can say about Aerie is everything is so cozy and it's perfect because you can wear it out. I look
nice enough to go out and about but I also feel comfortable enough to like kick it on the couch
at home and just be snuggled up and cozy. For the record, I did also buy this sweater in the dark
green color that's available. I just wore it already and it's dirty so I did buy something
a little darker. All right, the last thing I bought- I bought these mom straight jeans. Okay, their mom
jeans are my favorite. I like the stretchy ones. I feel like they're more mom jean because they help
hold everything in. The straight jeans don't have as much give but I feel like it leaves more room
for like your body to just do its own thing. You need to be like, what is that part of me?
I didn't know that that existed. So I might return these just because I don't think I have the body
type for them but someone who's like more taller- I'm like 5'2", you know? Someone who's taller,
maybe a little leaner, would look great in the straight leg jeans. So I grabbed those. Probably
not gonna keep them. I don't know. I don't hate them. They're just different from what I've ever bought so
I'm not sure how I feel yet. What I do love from Aerie and what you will love because I don't know
anyone who doesn't love leggings. They have the best leggings. I know everyone likes that one brand
that's super expensive because they're so soft. I'm telling you, Aerie probably gives them a run
for their money. These are so soft and so durable. They're the only leggings I buy. This is the
everything legging. I like these ones because they don't have any pockets so I feel like you can wear
them with something like this. I could wear it with a longer sweater that kind of covered my butt
and go out, you know, with some booties on or whatever and they would look great. These ones
also don't have pockets but they're on one side. My other leggings from them have pockets on the side
which I love. However, they're a lot more casual looking I feel like. A little bit more sporty
maybe. And then I got these pair. These also do not have pockets but they are- these are shiny.
Have a spandexy vibe. Maybe more athletic. These are more like pants so these would probably be
the ones to wear under a sweater. They're not shiny. They look like my kids leggings.
I love comfy, cozy clothes. They always have really good sales. That's my- that's my little
winter haul. Hope you guys liked it. Let me know your favorite places to shop in the comments below.
