MAKING PARTY FAVORS WITH THE CRICUT MAKER

what's up fam happy i don't even know what day it is but it's a good day because it is very quiet here which is really rare i joke all the time that quiet is now my love language because we never get it so when it's silent i'm like you can just take a deep breath i know that you guys with kids understand it's quiet because john just took the girls to pick up their sisters from preschool and then he is taking all six of them to the park for a little while giving me a few hours of peace we all went as a family the other day but i just got a really cool toy from a cool company that i'm gonna show you guys in a minute um so he took them so that i could play around with it and knock out a few projects that i have coming i am working on something special for my young living team for my business that i run we do get togethers every month and we try to make them fun with little goodie bags or little things that they come and make and so i'm like customizing some things i want to show you guys all that today let me grab a drink and then we'll hop right to it okay so the company i linked up with is cricket and i am so excited i have wanted one of their machines for like years y'all may not know this about me but i have a crafty bone or two in my body i used to do like artsy things all the time and i feel like the deeper i got into the motherhood and the day to like chaos of just taking care of kids and at home and all those things the more i kind of stopped using those creative muscles so i am like thrilled to have something that i can play with again and really start making things i've got it set up here because i'm working on these zipper pouches which are gonna be packed full of goodies for my girls my young living team so cricut sent me this cool heat press thing which you can use to make t-shirts iron on to like tote bags um you can use it on wood all kinds of things i am going to be using it to put some cool logos on these little canvas bags that are going to be stuffed with some goodies for my living team which they are going to love so we're going to customize these i've got the cricut maker machine the cadillac of cricut final making all the things it does everything let me show you guys like one it's so pretty two when you open it yeah it's so cool and i love this part because i'm using my ipad to use the qriket app to design everything it syncs up with bluetooth so i design it on the app and then send it right to the cricut it does its job and i go from there i'll walk you guys through some of that um because i'm about to make a couple more things i'll walk you guys through that part because i'm about to make a couple more things but first i you can't even see that i already cut this out this is my team logo and i am gonna be ironing it right onto these pouches it's going to look really cute so i'm going to do that and then i will show you guys the rest of the features of this cool maker machine [Music] so okay i'm gonna wait for that to cool down before i try to peel it off [Music] okay so i'm supposed to let this cool to the touch before i peel this part off i'll reveal that in just a second i'm like just picturing myself using this to make team t-shirts you can iron on to like tote bags these little canvas zipper bags you can iron on to wood like building a cute little planter box and putting grow on it or something would be adorable i'm gonna peel this off now and see what we got how cute is that i want to get some of the iron-on sheet in black because i feel like that would be really cute too but um that's adorable especially for my first time using it the possibilities here are endless seriously this thing is so cool it has this blade so you can cut stuff out but it also has this spot which holds a pen right so i took the pen put the pen in like that and i used the cricut to write [Music] on these like there is no way i could have written it that beaut beautifully it's also the fonts that we use for my team so like all of our branding all of our graphics everything is the same font so i was able to use our team fonts to make this and i filled these little packets with wildflower seeds so that's going to be one of the things in their gift bags so you can literally use this thing to like design your heart out it's amazing two down a few more things to go um one of the things that we're doing is making roller bottles so each month i have this in-person event and we usually offer like a gift or something that they can make and take and give to someone else i've got some flowers in a little roller that they're getting it has some essential oils in it next month is geared towards mothers so we are gonna do uh a glow serum for your skin in these dropper bottles and i am gonna take and write the word glow with vinyl and put it across this so that'll be really cute and then in june we are doing a like summer themed one and making insect repellent rollers so i already tested it out with this it's so cool it's a little mosquito on the roller bottle made out of vinyl and it's permanent so it should stick there really well so i've got a bunch of different bottles to play around with i am gonna let me show you guys how the like vinyl cutting part works [Music] okay so i'm using this smart vinyl and i just cut a little piece off this is the map i'm gonna put it on run it through it's gonna be super cool watch and see okay so i'm gonna stick the vinyl to the mat got it all set up you guys this is literally like the coolest thing ever my kids are also fascinated by it [Music] all right this is seriously the coolest thing ever uh it's kind of tiny so i'm gonna do my best to get it off of here let's see what happens [Music] you guys it says glow that's so awesome a little bottle of glow serum okay i've got a little bit more time before john gets home with the girls so i am gonna make a few more things and fill up my little artistic creative [Music] heart [Music] [Music] i'm having a blast there are so many other like things i want to get to but i need a few more supplies and a few more of the different tools that go with this machine so i can like really go to town trying all the things it's capable of so far i love it if you guys want you can check out qriket in the link in our description if you even remotely like to do crafty things or even if you just want to label things or even if you just grab the joy model to make your own vinyl labels for things it's really fun and i feel like it's just like something cool and different to do at home so this has been awesome i'm gonna go grab some lunch and i'll see you guys later
