Hi Dressy Cuties, Winnie here.
Today we're going to draw a clown from Squishmallows.
So let's get started.
To draw this cute clown
let's first start by drawing a circle for the eyes.
So I'm going to start right here
and draw
one circle
and then I'm going to come across
about this wide
and come about right here and draw another
circle.
There.
So now I have my two circles and since I'm
drawing pretty big I have enough
room so I'm going to make them draw so cute eyes.
So I'm going to come right here with two
smaller circles for highlights
and a curved
line at the bottom
and shade in the top.
But if you're drawing small you can just put one
highlight and shade everything else in.
But I always
love to draw my
draw so cute eyes if possible so I can
put some color in the eyes.
So come right here and draw lines at the
bottom. And same
thing over here.
There. So now I have my
eyes in. I'm going to come in between the eyes
and right about here in the center we're going to
draw this
oval for
cute little round clown
nose.
So a nice round oval.
There.
And then underneath this nose let's draw
a sweet smile so right underneath the
nose but right here I'm just going to go ahead and
draw a curve.
And when you color it just give it a little white
border. There.
And then let's go above each
eye and under each eye we're going to draw
these kind of like triangles.
So let's go above this one and in
the center I'm going to draw a curve
right over the eye
and then let's see here we're just going to
connect it
to create this triangle and then at
the bottom
as well.
So same thing here.
Right over the center of the eye.
And here.
There. So now that we have that in
let's go ahead and
we need to draw the hat
first. So let's go above
these eyes. You just use your eyes
as a guide and
I'm going to say like the center of
my eye. I'm going to go up or I guess
using this as an arrow.
I'm going to say about
right here. I'm just going to give
myself a point. So same
thing. Just come up. Same
height as the
other point. Just give yourself two
points and then from there just go ahead
and connect it with a curve.
So this is going to be the rim of the hat.
From there let's
go ahead and widen out this
hat. So we're going to come up.
Come up I mean.
On both sides.
And same about right here. I'm just going to go
ahead and round it off.
And
thicken this whole part up.
So about
right there just like the other side.
Just creating
a rim for our hat.
So right
above the eyes. Then let's come
in here. We're going to go up
for the top of our hat.
So here and
here. And we're just going to
connect it with a curve.
Come right
back down. There.
And then let's come right about here.
And we're just going to draw a curve following
our rim
right here for
a band.
There. Okay. So
now that we have that set in we can go ahead
and draw the hair. So I'm
going to come in. Let's say about right here.
And I'm going to draw a bunch of curves
and let's end at the level of the
eyes. So about right here. So let's
come about right here. Just going to
draw a bunch of curves.
Two.
Three. And we're going to the sides.
And so then about right there
where the eye is we're going to stop.
About right there.
And then let's go ahead
and work on this side.
So we're going to come back.
Well it's easier for my hand. I'm going to come right here.
Let's finish this loop.
But remember this point
right here.
And then we're going to go up.
And we're going to fatten
it up. Widen it about right there.
And then
one. And then another
big one.
And then this smaller one that comes right in
there. There.
So then just
imagining this is a squishmallow
shape. So then about right here
where this point was we're just going to
bring down a curve.
There. So
if you're using a pencil you can always just
draw a squishmallow shape first
and then put in the hair over it
if that helps. So I'm going to
go ahead and draw the same
thing on the other side. So right about here.
Just going to curve
just like the other side.
So make sure right underneath the eye.
So same level.
And to about right there.
And then
once again we're going to go ahead and
fatten this up.
So once again. One.
Two.
Three. And then maybe a little bit
wider here.
And
connect. There. So we just
want to draw these two
fluffy mounds of hair
for our clown on the side.
Okay. So then
from there once again same thing.
About the same area on the other side.
But right here we're going to draw a curve.
And let's make sure
we're about the same level
as the other side.
And then from there I'm going to go ahead and
connect it with a big curve
going all the way across.
There.
And then now that we have that
big curve let's draw the
let's see a little ruffle part. So we're going to come
out right here
with an angle line.
And same thing here.
And make it
about the same height, same length.
And then from there we're just going to go ahead
and wobble our way across.
And as we
wobble we're following the
curve.
So just keep that in mind.
And it's going to start to go
up and connect.
There.
Then let's go ahead and finish our squishmallow
shape. So we're imagining this coming through
and about right here.
And bring it in.
And
let's just go ahead and
connect it. So then about right here
I'm going to go ahead and bring it in.
And flatten
it out towards the bottom.
And connect.
There. Okay.
So then now for some details we need to draw
the overalls. So I'm going to
come to the sides right here.
Draw one
strap.
And just round it off and go up.
So same thing
on the other side about right here.
Round
it off and go up.
And then
let's come about right
here.
I'm just going to drag this across.
I'm approximately the same
height and I'm just going to
connect it with a curve.
There. And then another
curve right here. Just imagine it coming through.
And then same thing
here. There.
And then for more details
let me round this off
as I'm looking at my camera.
A little bit more.
Okay. So then for some details
let's come in the center.
And we're going to draw
two circles
for buttons.
And we need to draw some
buttons here but I'll make these a heart.
To make this
my draw so cute clown
from Squishmallows.
There.
And for some details
you can come in here if you like and just draw
lightly some curves.
So that we know it's extra
fluffy right here.
There.
And that is pretty much
it for my drawing here of this cute
clown from Squishmallows.
Oh also when you're coloring just draw
in some stripes as it
goes following this band.
I don't want to use my sharpie
because that would mess it up and make it too dark.
But just put in some darker
stripes as you go across.
But that is pretty much it. I really hope
I helped you draw this cute clown fun
and easy today and if I did
