Outer space, beginning just 100 kilometers above Earth, is a vast realm filled with stars, planets, galaxies, and mysteries. This narrative explores our Solar System, from the Sun and its planets to the gas giants and beyond, highlighting phenomena like black holes and quasars. With spacecraft like Voyager 1 and the James Webb Space Telescope, we seek answers to profound questions about the universe, our existence, and the future of exploration.
What lies beyond the blue sky we see every day? Welcome to outer space. A realm that begins just
100 kilometers above earth's surface and stretches for billions of light years. A place without air,
without sound, and without limits. Outer space isn't empty. It's filled with stars, planets,
galaxies, dark matter, radiation, black holes, and possibly life. Let's begin with what we know,
our solar system. At its center is the sun, a g-type main sequence star made of hydrogen and
helium, producing energy through nuclear fusion. Its gravity holds together eight planets,
dozens of moons, dwarf planets, and millions of asteroids and comets. Mercury, the smallest,
with no atmosphere and extreme temperatures. Venus, hotter than Mercury due to its thick
carbon dioxide atmosphere. Earth, the only known planet with life, protected by a magnetic field
and rich in water. Mars, the red planet, once home to flowing rivers, now a major focus of
human exploration. Farther out, we find the gas giants. Jupiter, the largest planet, with over
90 moons and a storm larger than Earth. Saturn, famous for its rings made of ice and rock.
