Paying for our NEW MANILA CONDO! How Much for Studio Apartment in BGC?

hello guys welcome back to a new video today it's an exciting day and it's a little bit of an update because today we're doing something quite official which makes this whole buying a condo purchase this pole buying a condo thing real very very real welcome to another vlog thanks for clicking on the video today if you have missed the last couple of weeks on the channel we have actually purchased a condominium unit in the philippines in manila in mckinley which was a goal of ours for this year ended up happening in january amazing absolute chaos there's been a lot going on we've logged a couple of videos booked a couple of videos filmed a couple of vlogs when we first went to see the place um we'd been looking for a while we've been looking for a number of months and then an opportunity came along we're going to go more into that later on in this video and how we've done it and costs and procedures things like that because a lot of people we were surprised we put these videos out we went to see it and then and then we filmed another video when we'd officially decided and we were going ahead with it and lucy and i were surprised with the feedback that we got firstly the views on the video so many more people clicked on these videos about these properties than our usual vlogs which is amazing so thank you if that was one of you if you watched those videos and you enjoyed it i think people are really interested in this topic in what we're doing with buying this condos and then we started reading through the comments on these videos and there were so many so many questions we were like okay we need to film more so we're going to film the behind the scenes procedures what we're doing today we have a meeting ah loose we need to go yeah so i've got my best denim jacket on today because i thought i'd make a little bit of an effort we're off to an office we're off to a place of work gonna hop in the car it's only 10 minutes away we've got eight minutes to get there this always happens we're ready to leave and then we're like right start the vlog and then everything goes wrong all right a bit dramatic not everything's going wrong but welcome to the vlog let's get the right angle okay nice all right cool business business but also fun sounds good all right let's go i didn't know i had to take a motion sickness tablet before leaving today george literally can we stop efficient driving efficient yes but also rally driving also i'm gonna puke safe driving it's safe yeah but it's like i'm just trying out sport mode jose has sport mode guys mega world uh obviously thingy at mckinley it's really handy i don't know how but it's right next to the condo they've got a load of condos in the area but somehow it's like next door to ours which is perfect we've got a load of paperwork with us and some forms and we've had we've been working on some things to help with the completion over the past few days and with a few different things you have to do like the insurance and that kind of stuff and today is basically i think a lot of signing so we need to get our signing hands ready do some stretches because i think it's going to be a lot of signing today and a lot of paperwork [Music] is oh nice amazing little thing to frying up your day that's so sweet thank you oh wow got some coffee thank you so much this is this is cyril guys who is helping us with all the condo purchase everything being very very helpful welcome to the vlog thank you very much i bought my best jacket for yeah [Music] [Music] okay so there are about 2 000 pieces of paper that we have to sign today um so we're gonna get going with that now but it's nice to with mega world they seem to talk you through everything so honestly it's been very very nice process and we haven't been left on our own at any point so we're very grateful for that [Music] okay a lot of paperwork signed successful morning meeting thank you for your help we'll see you later on happy yes all right good let's go okay all finished with our meeting uh we still need to collect something from here i think she's gonna drop something off our lobby later some final bits of paperwork but it went well we haven't really been focused on the vlog that much today up to this point because we've kind of been using all brain capacity to um read contracts and do a lot of signing last night actually george and i went um for a little meeting but with each other and we went to the cedar rooftop bar and we just sat for like four hours and we were discussing all these ideas for things that's really helpful george while i'm trying to vlog we were discussing all these ideas of things and something that came up in this discussion this idea we've had recently we also discussed with cyril just now as well and she's on board so that's what i'm saying for now but it's something exciting coming soon but we're going to flip back to the apartment now and we're going to talk with you guys a little bit more about costs and all that fun adulting stuff we're trying we're trying to answer the questions that we didn't answer in those original videos yeah because we realized we realized that we actually had comments that said i can see your excitement in your eyes and your faces we were just fully excited to um get on board with the condo that we didn't actually speak much about anything anything at all to do any details and we definitely we want to firstly answer your guys questions but secondly document this process and for ourselves to look back on in years to come like buying our first condo in the philippines big moment so we want to we want to remember the square meters we want to remember how much it costs we want to remember how we did it how all these things so we will try our best to answer all your questions okay we've just got back and we're going to sit down in a second and show you guys um some of the price layouts and some more details on this condo but before we do and the guys from busy bee cleaners have actually just arrived and they're already doing an amazing job we'll show you the after of the condo after they leave i mean we've been busy recently so this is very much needed and we're quite clean and we're quite um particular about tidying away but it definitely needs a clean doesn't it so we're very grateful for them coming today they do such a great job they do all the disinfecting uh with a disinfectant spray which is cool and out of all the sort of different cleaning companies that we've used here in manila we'd say that they do the best job they're the most efficient they're in full ppu as you can see behind me and they do such a great job so we'll show you the after in a second but we're super grateful for them being here today they've made this bed so much nicer than we ever possibly make it i don't want to sit on it right now i'm going to get out of the way for them to finish the lounge if you guys want to book them if everything out from under there um pulled out they always pull out everything they they had the fridge pulled out and they were doing behind the fridge i've never seen anyone do that before which is really good such a good job highly recommend it saved us so much time today that was like a two or three hour clean yeah two or three hour clean and that would have taken me on my own way longer firstly because i'm not a professional cleaner secondly because there's only one of me they have all the gear and stuff all the equipment that you need to make it look amazing in here it just it just really helps us out having this every like few weeks because it's been such a busy day for us today and i wouldn't have had time to do any cleaning today so it's amazing highly highly recommend bdb cleaning company if you have any need for a cleaner in metro manila and i believe they also now have like a cebu team as well so if you're in cebu contact them there as well but we're now going to sit down and tell you guys a little bit more on this condo so we wanted to go into more details about pricing and i'm actually going to put the air con on for a second because it's very warm in here so sorry if the noise is a bit funny but it's hot today it's very warm i've changed my top because i was so warm it's like that it my app my phone said it feels like 36 and i feel like it hasn't been a half ages but i do think also it's going to be stormy later because it's so hot anyway weather update finished and we wanted to give a little bit more details on um the actual unit we've bought so it's 39.3 square meters yeah just nearly 40. just under 40 square meters we've got it's a studio unit in some marks in mckinley hill and in that you um building i think there's studios one beds and two beds there must be a plant house but i don't know how much it is we basically um the the one beds you can get for around 18 million the studios are around 10 i don't know 11 million yeah i've got a list of the available units actually here so ours is a studio and those are around 11 million pesos we actually managed to get a good discount on this one we got around one million off um as part of this special promo which is really really good okay so looking up to the more expensive ones you get three bedrooms oh there's three bedrooms yeah you get three bedrooms up to around 33 million i didn't know there was three so i'd love to see one expensive but it would be cool to see yeah absolutely two-bedroom 28 million oh so it's not the difference between two and three yeah so ours is like the cheapest of the units but it's a higher floor um which is obviously more desirable with the view and everything and it's got a balcony which is great um and obviously all the facilities and stuff are included for anyone who has a unit there so it's really cool and if anyone is actually interested in any of these properties with mega world we wanted to just put the email address of cyril below because she's been so helpful so good um just mention us if you do they might be able to sort out some sort of special discount for you guys yeah so far we've had a really good experience and sorrow is genuinely very very helpful yeah so if you do contact her about a unit please do mention us because then she might be able to also sort you out with a discount or something like that um depending what's available at the time but do mention us if you get in contact with cyril and we know that obviously you can get um cheaper like you can get probably houses for that much money in some areas and bigger condos um but for us it's for us location is a huge thing and we've got a video coming out tomorrow night for you guys which is actually delving into the reason why we chose venice mall and
