MANILA EARTHQUAKE on CHRISTMAS DAY!

okay we just woke up this morning george was woken up to an earthquake here in manila um what uh wake up on christmas morning actually it didn't wake me up george just woke up he got out of bed and i was like oh morning merry christmas and he was like can you not feel that there's an earthquake and these lights we've got just here we're like i'll show you how much they were swinging they were literally rocking like this um really going back and forth like crazy and i was looking at we couldn't see anything going on outside um it's actually a really nice morning here but i've just been trying to look on the news for a little update and every one of their stories is just uploading videos and pictures of things shaking and then when you google it now it says it's a 6.4 oh it's changed i don't think they've got the final um resulting a minute ago this thing this little diagram said it was 6.5 magnitude now it's saying 6.2 uh 47 miles away from to guy tai cavite um i don't know why it's not just saying where is there's really not that much information in yet but i'm just on twitter and everyone's saying uh 7 45 a.m on christmas day earthquakes reported i'm not sure if there's been any actual damage like at the um epicenter yet or anywhere else um but we obviously really hope everyone's doing okay um and everyone's okay people are just very scared on twitter by the looks of things good morning guys we didn't actually expect to be vlogging christmas day but here we are this is so weird because it's our first christmas morning in the philippines it is 25th we're just woken up merry christmas there's another vlog coming today i was having a dream just before waking up and i thought like the swinging or the shaky was in the dream then i woke up then i thought it was just me i thought i felt dizzy but we thought i'd have to pick up the camera because this is but it's so weird this is our first christmas in the philippines and we get woken up by an earthquake which would never happen in the uk so the first thing i always do when there's earthquakes like that huge one last year in 2019 hop on twitter see if anyone else felt it and and yeah there's just tons of tweets tons of news articles 6.3 magnitude people are posting photos videos our bedroom door was kind of swinging um open and closed not too bad but we kind of we kind of quickly got ready to leave the building if we had to we were kind of looking around outside if people were leaking buildings and stuff but didn't look like they were and then it stopped but i'd say it lasted 15 seconds at least but but merry christmas guys it is christmas morning nice to check in with you anyway um i hope you are all doing well i hope you're having a great christmas day wherever you are we need to get up anyway and get ready for the day as i said there is another video coming for you today but we're off to mike nelly's in a little while for some food and stuff like that so i think we're just gonna have a little bit of coffee right now and then slowly go up but just wanted to check in with you guys see you soon yeah like george said it feels so unusual that i'm texting my family saying merry christmas from the philippines we just felt an earthquake like that's just crazy to me i never thought i'd spend christmas morning um waking up to an earthquake genuinely never thought that would happen um but i don't know it's just 20 20 isn't it of course it had to round off in a way like this but like we said we will we're not sure um if it actually has caused any damage or actually hurt anyone or anything yet so i mean if you have more information on like the exact location or if any more news reports come in and obviously comment below um and again as we always say with stuff like this we're not a news channel what we've read out is purely what we see on twitter and we see on like news articles and things but if anyone has any information that they'd like to share obviously take it with a pinch of salt because it's just in youtube comments but you can um read in the comments and stuff and see um if people have any more uh details or anything on what's going on um or the actual whereabouts of like the epicenter and things because as i refresh my phone it keeps changing magnitude 6.3 it's saying now not 6.2 or 6.1 or 6.6 i've also seen this morning but also there was a 4.9 magnitude um i think in rizal three days ago i think there's a few um things before there but yeah i went on province i think four point nine three days ago see it's all it's all random i can't quite figure out um that's why we have to be careful with what we say but but we just wanted to update you guys uh you can hear my voice i've only just woken up i woke up a little bit earlier than i was expecting to this morning because i stayed up quite late last night but there we go we hope you have a great christmas day we hope everyone's okay despite the earthquake we hope um it hasn't caused any damage or hurt anyone so have a great christmas day we hope you enjoyed uh noche buena if you had not shipped in last night if you're in the philippines i think we're just gonna keep reading the news and see what happens i have seen a couple of people walking outside but it doesn't let any buildings have been evacuated or anything uh the other earthquake in manila we felt last year the streets were filled with people because everyone was evacuating so really weird i think it was weaker than that right that was like a seven i think that was stronger and there hasn't been any aftershocks so far so yeah there we go um fingers crossed that there's no more at least we've got to say hi to you guys on christmas morning i hope you guys are all doing we expect to check in we're
