TEACHING OUR KIDS A CLASSIC GAME FROM THE 90s!
Who are you gonna marry? What job are you going to have? Where will you live? These are just a few questions that we easily helped our kids find the answers to when we played my FAVORITE game from my childhood! Can you guess what it is?!
This game is gonna teach you about your future,
your life, who you're gonna marry,
what job you're gonna have,
if you're gonna have any pets,
what kind of car you might drive,
where you're gonna live,
and how many kids you're gonna have.
Do you guys know the game?
If you know it, guess it right now
in the comments below.
We're taking it back,
kicking it back old school.
A walk down memory lane,
blast to the past,
into my childhood,
and one of my favorite things to do,
I'm teaching the girls how to play a very fun game,
and I have a feeling they are gonna have
a love-hate relationship with this.
I am sure there are gonna be a lot of giggles,
a lot of squeals,
and a lot of laughing happening here.
We have got our three oldest kids here,
Tyler, almost eight,
Elena is six,
and Judea is five.
We're playing MASH.
That's right, game of MASH.
Let's get started.
We're gonna start with Jude.
She's the youngest.
Okay, so Jude,
I need five names of who you might want to marry.
I would like to marry Aaron,
he's in my class,
and he gets really into trouble if I still like him.
If he wants to marry Aaron?
The troublemaker.
Boston and Nathan,
I barely go to,
I love them.
They're my love bugs.
Okay, I have the perfect one for Jude.
The Grinch.
If you pick four or five things
that you would want to do as your job.
Make a counting machine.
A horse rider.
Now we gotta pick how many kids you're gonna have.
One, and a one, and a zero, and a zero, and a one.
One thousand and one.
How about zero?
No, I'm not gonna have a zero kid.
Ready Jude, tell me when to stop.
On your mark, get set, go.
Stop.
One, two, three.
Judea, we figured out your future.
Are you ready to hear it?
Here's what your life is gonna look like.
All right, ready?
You are gonna live in an apartment with Nathan,
because he's your husband.
You guys are gonna have a pet cheetah in your apartment,
so watch out.
Better get a big leash.
You're gonna be a plumber.
You're gonna drive a dump truck though,
like Rubble, so that's pretty cool.
And you're gonna have six kids.
What do you think?
Six kids in an apartment.
All right, Elena's turn.
Elena, are you ready for this
now that you've seen how it goes?
Go ahead, your crush.
Who are you gonna marry?
No one.
No one?
All right, Cat Lady.
No!
That means that you don't get married.
Tristan?
No!
He's already grown a mustache.
I'm gonna put Sebby on there.
Sebby Rich.
Oh, no!
Wait till Miss Cat appears back.
Andrew!
No!
Who's somebody that's like, eww, icky?
Nicholas!
I don't wanna marry the penguin guy from Batman.
The penguin.
Okay, five jobs.
To be a star.
Then, a teacher.
What do you wanna drive?
Oh!
What does that say?
We never be one.
If there was a hair, it's gonna make me cry again.
Or it was just the hair in my eyes.
You tell me when to stop, when your marker's set, go.
Stop.
All right, are you ready?
Yeah.
Are you ready?
The moment of truth.
You are going to live in a shack.
In the sewer.
With the Ninja Turtles.
You're gonna be married to Andrew.
No.
To Andrew.
That's me.
You guys are gonna have a pet unicorn.
No.
Your job for work is you're gonna be a stable hand.
So you're gonna be cleaning out after horses.
Cleaning out the stable.
You're gonna drive the car that mommy used to have.
Yes.
And you're gonna have seven kids in your shack in the sewer.
You and Andrew are gonna have seven kids.
There you go, there's your feature, love.
Okay.
Aw, don't rip it up.
What are you most upset about?
It's just for fun.
You can do it again.
I'm gonna get a stink bug.
I bet you there's stink bugs in the sewer.
Two down, one to go.
Are you ready?
How about Jackson?
Yeah, I think he's gonna do it.
We're gonna put Tyler in
because that was your first ever crush.
Who's the daddy?
He's already married.
Pets.
Doggy.
Dog.
Horse.
Bird.
Maybe a kitten.
Your job.
Let's pick three you really want to do.
Taking care of horses.
Gymnastics.
Wheelist, wheelist, wheelist.
An armpit sniffer.
That's a good one.
Bird.
Armpit sniffer.
Are you ready?
Yes.
On your mark, get set, go.
Okay, are you ready?
A secret.
A secret lair?
Yeah.
It's a shack.
You got a shack.
Hanover.
That's where Nana lives, in Hanover.
You're gonna be a?
Candy maker.
With?
Four kids.
You'll have a pet kitten.
Everywhere you go.
You'll walk with shoes.
Aww.
And you are gonna be married to the love of your life.
No!
Smoochie smoochie.
I thought it was good, but two bad things.
Marrying Gargamel and having to walk.
But you like the game?
Are you gonna play again?
No, not today.
Not today, but are you gonna teach your friends
how to play?
Maybe.
That's what mommy used to do with our friends.
What did you think of M.A.S.H.?
Not fun.
I don't get to marry Stephen.
Are you gonna teach Kayla how to play?
Yeah.
What do you think?
Was that not a walk down memory lane?
It's always fun to take the things
that we used to do as kids and see how our kids react
to them and how they like them nowadays.
I have a feeling this isn't the last time.
They will play M.A.S.H.
I've gotta go.
I love y'all.
See you later.
