SO IMPRESSED by ALABANG! Is This Dubai of PHILIPPINES?

It's a hot one guys and the reason I'm so sweaty is because we've just filmed a video of the car we're in right now, Max's T60. We filmed a like car review style video for Georgie's channel. It's something he's been wanting to do for a while, something he's been wanting to get into and we've just been stood in direct sunlight for like half an hour filming it. So I was obviously the camera person, the camera woman and we've just been filming that so I'm so hot right now but that'll be coming on Georgie's channel in the next like week or so I'd imagine. That'll be coming on Georgie's channel soon, more Georgie all linked below. Now we are gonna head out for a nice early morning cruise over to Alabang. So we went here a few weeks ago with Mike and Nellie and we went to a restaurant called Bungalow and it's really nice. We've got this car, we're dropping this car back today and we just wanted to go somewhere with a nice drive, have a little bit of a chilled morning with you guys, show you guys around this area a little bit more, show you guys more of Alabang, some more restaurants, coffee shops. It's a really cool area, there's a lot going on there. Alabang, yeah Alabang. Was there a pun there? Alabang. Alabang. No, we'll have to beep that one out. Anyway, I think we need to get some fuel first so we're gonna get fuel and then head over there. But thank you for clicking on the video today. This is our last day with the Maxus T60 pickup. Huge thanks to Maxus Philippines for arranging this for us for a couple of days. We're actually also filming today a video for my channel, like my first ever car review. What? You said it already. You said it already. When you were getting cash out, I was in here telling everyone your secrets. It's not a secret. A little bit of traffic this morning at BGC, but you know, it's a nice place to be, we've got air conditioning, but I'll save that for the car review. It should only be half an hour drive to Alabang. Yeah. Something like that. Hopefully if we don't hit too much traffic, but beautiful day. Let's do a quick weather check while we're here. Look at this blue sky. Wow. So nice. Beautiful trees, the buildings. Love it. The traffic. What more could you want? Hi. Thank you. How are you? Good. See you. Bye. Wow. This is a whole new area for us in Alabang. Where do I go, Luce? Right or left? Just find somewhere to park. This looks like Europe down here. True. Monte Carlo. We're heading to a place, trying to head to a place called Bean and Yolk. And when I leave, I'm going to say I've been and gone. Wow. They scanned our driving license. We've got a little, I guess this is a parking ticket here. License plate, not a driving license. Oh yeah, a license plate. Sorry. And I think, I don't know if we can just park anywhere, but I think the place we need is inside the mall. Yeah. Ah, the Alabang cats. These look funny, don't they? They're so tiny. And they've got like black paws. They look like a different breed. Everywhere you go here, there's like a different type of cat. Oh, they're so slow. They look so skinny. Okay, so we are now in a slightly different area. We wanted to try out a different area than before. I know there's loads of really nice places nearby. So the other, it's quite close by. I think we're around a 15 minute walk away from Bungalow where we were before. But here, look at this. It's like we're in Dubai or something, isn't it? I was going to say this is like Dubai. This looks like a Dubai mall. So we've got this like cool looking building here, Neil's Kitchen. And then loads of different places. It's like a little mini mall. Palm trees, little water feature. It's lovely. It looks so fancy. Wow, really nice. We've never been here. Nice. Really cool. And even like here, you've got a little verandah-y thing. Like, I don't know what you call it. Everything looks a bit different, doesn't it? And it's always nice considering the quarantine and everything and how we haven't managed to leave BGC for so long. It's so nice to come to a different area and just look around and just enjoy it and pick up on the little things. I think when we were travelling before, we were seeing so many amazing things so frequently and now we see something that's slightly different to normal. We're like blown away. Oh, there it is. Bean & Yolk. Is it open? Oh, I hope so. Yeah, it looks like it. That looks nice. Cool. New coffee shop for us today as well. Maybe grab a little bit of breakfast. To be a beginner. Wait, there's a quote here that's written on the side and I can't quite read it all yet. Be willing to be a beginner every single morning. Nice. This looks very cool. Oh man, maybe this is empty. Bean & Yolk. Let's try it out. Hi, morning. Table for two, please. There's something on the menu called a Lucy, which is cool. You should order that. They've got a really nice menu here. Loads of breakfasts, avocado toast, waffles, Turkish eggs and Filipino stuff as well. So already it's a place where I want to order everything. So it's a good sign. Nice. Very nice. Let's try the coffee. Looks good. Oh, it tastes pretty good. Good coffee in Alabama. Lots of options. It's good. Good food, good coffee, fast Wi-Fi, friendly staff, good safety precautions in place there. This place is really, really cool. I'm guessing it's usually a little bit busier. So hot today. I don't know why it's like, I feel like at the moment the weather here is either pretty cool and like 27, 28 or it's like 35. Like it's never in the middle. I feel like every day is either super hot or kind of normal or kind of cool for Manila. Look how different this looks here. Just this road, the street parking, the road, I don't know, something about it, the greenery, the trees around it. This looks like more of a neighborhood rather than like a city, doesn't it? A little bit more residential, maybe. Is it a city? Officially, I'm not sure. We're still in Metro Manila, but I don't know what, if this is like called, I guess the province is Metro Manila, but I don't know what the city, maybe it's the, maybe Alabang's like the city. I'm not sure. But even these palm trees, they look so different. These are like the palm trees in Dubai. They're not like the ones you get. They're not like coconut trees. They're like the ones that are more, more like a pineapple, I guess is the best way to describe it. Maybe they're pineapple trees. I don't think they are. And here, look how nice this is. All these leaves, it just looks lovely. So picturesque. Train stop. So we're going to get back in the pickup now. Sitting in the back of these is something that always appeals to me whenever I see one. So now we are going to sit in the back and Jorda's going to take a picture of me for Instagram. Bucket list things, eh? And we are back guys. Oh, you know, I feel like just sitting down and having a little chat with you guys because for the last three days, three or four, maybe five days, Lucy and I have just been going absolutely crazy. Filmed so many vlogs, so many videos. We had the whole Manila Bay thing. Those videos kind of exploded. Load of new subscribers to the channel, so welcome if you're new. That was crazy. There was a lot going on and we've had such a busy week. We've neglected our workout routine. We've neglected sleep a little bit. It kind of feels like the old days of daily vlogging. We've been focusing so hard on the content, so hard on the channel. So appreciate you guys all watching, sticking around. Hope you're enjoying the vlogs. The rest of today is we have a Zoom meeting in a minute. Then we've got like, at the moment, we've got about five vlogs on our hard drive ready to edit. There's just a lot going on and I think we're picking up another car in a few days. So more fun content. Really, really enjoyed filming the car review video today. Very, very different style of video for me, but I think I did okay. I know I enjoyed it, but I think hopefully we've made a good video about the T60 pickup, but we've really, really enjoyed. Another huge thanks to MaxisPH for hooking us up with that for a couple of days. Really, really fun vehicle. Then we can get around, do loads of stuff. Then we could go up to Makati. You guys would have seen the vlogs over there. Manila Bay, Alabang. We've been like all over the place. Things we can't usually do without a car, so that's been really awesome. So that is it.
