Hi everyone, I'm Mary Fielder and welcome to another episode here at the Great Light Rising
channel. People like you who are interested in this kind of material, you are the Great Light
Rising. One way to keep your light shining brightly is to follow your intuitive guidance.
People ask, how do you know what that is? How do you know when you're receiving intuitive guidance
and how do you learn to trust it? That's what we're talking about here in this episode. What
is your intuition? How do you learn to recognize it, to trust it and why you should? Let's get
started. But first, if you like this kind of material, please give me a thumbs up and consider
subscribing to my channel if you are not already. This helps me reach more people, spreading the
light and it keeps me motivated to make these videos. What is intuition? Intuition is that
still small voice inside your head encouraging you to step outside your comfort zone, move out
of state, change your job or do something that will make you happy. Your ego is the much louder
voice telling you all the reasons why it won't work, how you will fail, who will be upset by it,
why you can't afford it and why you should just stay exactly where you are even if you're in
an unhappy life. When you get a gut feeling about something, a gut instinct or a knowing,
that's your intuition. Sometimes you might hear an actual voice inside your head telling you to do
something. When you get an idea and it feels like it's a pretty good idea, an idea that will solve
a problem or lead you to a better life in some way, that can also be your intuition. Have you
ever had the experience that someone tells you something but it doesn't sit right with you and
you don't think they are right but you don't know enough about the subject to contradict them?
However deep down in your bones you know that it can't be right and then a week or so later you
find an article, a book that explains exactly why you are right and they are wrong. You don't know
why you knew but you knew. That's your intuition, your inner knowing. So where does the voice of
intuition come from? Intuition is often described as a deep inner knowing that transcends logic and
reason, a whisper from the soul rather than a conclusion drawn from the mind. According to most
metaphysical traditions, intuition is believed to arise from our connection to the higher self,
the part of our consciousness that remains attuned to divine wisdom beyond the veil of everyday
awareness. Many spiritual teachings suggest that gut feelings are not just random sensations
but messages from the body acting as an antenna for unseen energies. Does the physical gut have
anything to do with gut feelings? There is a growing body of scientific evidence that the gut
is physically involved in intuitive processes. Your intuitive sense is triggered by signals sent
via several channels of neural communication between the gut and the brain. Our gut can
actually store memories. The microbiome or the healthy gut bacteria produce neurotransmitters
that reach the brain and may stimulate or alter its operation. Scientists have found that our gut
has a second brain. This could be the reason for our gut feelings. There is also a strong
connection of a similar nature between the heart and the brain. The solar plexus, considered a
major energy center in both yogic and esoteric systems, is said to be the seat of this intuitive
gut knowing where the physical and subtle bodies communicate. Intuition also reaches us through the
third eye, our pineal gland, and arrives there through the crown chakra. Ancient spiritual systems
such as the Egyptian mystery schools, the Vedic tradition, and indigenous shamanic cultures viewed
intuition as the voice of spirit guides, ancestors, or divine beings who assist us on our soul's path.
Oracles and seers like the Pythia of Delphi received guidance through intuitive channels
often induced by altered states, believing their insights came directly from the gods.
In modern metaphysical circles this idea persists. Intuition is seen as the guidance
of benevolent spiritual allies or the higher self nudging us toward truth, alignment, and protection.
Many people report receiving intuitive flashes during moments of stillness, dreams, or
when the veil thins and the unseen world briefly makes itself known. When you learn to trust it,
your intuition is the best guidance you can possibly receive because only your higher self,
which works in cooperation with your guides and angels, knows what lessons you set out to
accomplish when you chose this incarnation, and only your higher self is capable of seeing exactly
how you can succeed. You are standing at the bottom of the mountain looking up. Your higher
self is on top of the mountain looking down. You see only the big mountain in front of you,
tall, ominous, difficult to climb. But your higher self sees the whole layer of the land
and can spot the path of least resistance up that steep mountain. It might need to steer you
around a corner to find the easy path to the top. Turning that corner or feeling knocked out of your
comfort zone by life's circumstances, that corner might feel like you are drifting far from the path
you wanted to follow in life, but in reality it might be a way to shortcut you that will bring
you more happiness in the long run. Your body is like an antenna. Your pineal gland is a transmitter
and a receiver. You both send messages out and receive messages in through your pineal gland.
Your skin is made largely of silica, and so is your hair. Silica is a component of quartz crystal,
which is made of silicon and oxygen, silicon dioxide. Quartz crystal is a remarkable substance
that serves as both a transmitter and receiver of energy, both in metaphysical traditions and
modern electronics. In the world of technology, quartz is used primarily for its piezoelectric
properties. That means it can generate an electrical charge when exposed to an electrical
signal. Your nervous system, your brain and your heart are sources of electrical signals,
and your hair and your skin are like transmitter receivers, not just transmitting your own
electrical signals, but also receiving the electrical impulses that are found throughout
the space-time continuum. All living things, including our sun and our planets, trees,
bodies of water, and even other people, emit electrical signals all of the time. Indeed,
we can use crystals to enhance our intuition. Quartz in particular is a great tool for tuning
into higher consciousness and opening up the pineal gland or awakening the third eye.
We'll talk about some other ways to awaken the third eye in a moment.
Just as quartz crystals stabilize frequencies in machines, it's believed that they can help
stabilize our energy fields, enhance intuition, and amplify our connection to higher realms.
The comparison is striking. Both quartz and the pineal gland are attuned to frequencies and
signals beyond the visible spectrum, acting as bridges between the physical and subtle worlds.
The pineal gland contains microscopic calcite crystals suspended in a gelatinous medium,
an internal structure not unlike a biological quartz. These calcite microcrystals possess
piezoelectric properties, meaning they could respond to electromagnetic fields by generating
electrical charges, much like quartz in a circuit. This means that the pineal gland acts as a
biological transducer, capable of receiving subtle energy or vibrational information,
both from internal and external sources. In metaphysical traditions, the pineal gland has
long been revered as the seat of intuition, the third eye, or the gateway to higher dimensions.
If we view the pineal gland through the same lens as we view quartz technology,
a finely tuned receiver and transmitter of frequency, then the ancient wisdom surrounding
it gains a fascinating resonance with modern science. Just as quartz allows our devices to
stay synchronized with precise time and signals, the pineal may keep us attuned to the subtler
rhythms of the cosmos, spiritual insight, and inner knowing. It becomes clear that our bodies
are not just biological, but also vibrational instruments, capable of harmonizing with higher
frequencies. Where do the outgoing messages go, though? We've said that the incoming messages
arrive through the crown to the third eye, with our hair and our skin, the cells of our body,
acting as an antenna for receiving the signals, and that they come from the universe at large,
our angels, spirits, and guides. But where do the outgoing messages go? Well, that depends
on what you are thinking about, and often, who you are thinking about. But as a gross generalization,
we can say that the outgoing messages are sent into the collective consciousness.
In metaphysical terms, the collective consciousness is a vast, interwoven tapestry
of vibrational frequencies, thoughts, emotions, and intentions that permeate the ether,
a subtle, invisible medium that connects all existence. Our thoughts, as pure frequency,
ripple outward from our individual consciousness, merging into ever-expanding layers of collective
awareness, each layer resonating with its own unique energetic signature. Let me weave a brief
picture of these layers, from the individual to the universal, and explain how thoughts influence
and shift these realms, carrying the power to uplift or burden others through their energetic
essence. Your personal consciousness is a radiant sphere of energy, a unique frequency born of your
thoughts, feelings, and intentions. Every thought you generate, whether a fleeting worry or a burst
of love, emits a vibrational wave into the ether. These waves do not dissipate, but travel,
carrying your energetic imprint. For example, a thought of fear vibrates densely, while a thought
of joy sparkles with lightness, each seeking resonance with similar frequencies. The thoughts
of individuals in a neighborhood or small town blend into a localized collective consciousness,
a shared energetic field, shaped by cultural norms and shared experiences. In a tight-knit village,
this field might hum with like-mindedness, open-hearted curiosity, that permeates the
whole town, or it might resonate with rigid traditionalism in another town. Your thoughts,
as they ripple into this layer, either harmonize with or subtly disrupt the prevailing vibration.
A single person's persistent thoughts of unity in a closed-minded community can plant seeds of change,
gradually shifting the collective tone. Zooming outward, the consciousness of a larger region,
like a state or province, carries a broader cultural vibration. When individuals from one
region move to another, their thoughts act like tuning forks, introducing new frequencies,
shifting it in the consciousness over time. That's what's going on now. There have been
mass migrations of different people from one state to another, mass influxes of different
vibrational thought frequencies that are shifting the way people think. At the national level,
a country's collective consciousness reflects its core ideals and historical spirit.
America's energetic field vibrates with a pioneering zeal, a drive for freedom and
innovation, while Britain's hums with reverence for tradition and continuity.
Thoughts contributed to this layer, whether through art, speech, or silent intention,
amplify or challenge the national vibration. A surge of compassionate thoughts from individuals
can elevate a nation's consciousness, fostering unity over division.
The Earth's collective consciousness is a living, breathing field that unifies all human,
animal, and elemental energies. It is the heartbeat of Gaia, resonating with the combined
frequencies of every thought and emotion on the planet. When you send thoughts of love or healing
into the ether, they merge with this global field, amplifying its light. Conversely,
collective fear or anger can cloud this layer, dimming its vibrancy.
Your intention to uplift, through prayer, meditation, or acts of kindness,
strengthens the planetary consciousness, fostering harmony.
Beyond Earth lies the universal consciousness, an infinite ocean of divine intelligence
that connects all beings across galaxies and dimensions. This is the source of all existence,
where every thought, from the smallest human worry to the grandest cosmic intention,
ultimately returns. Your thoughts, as frequencies, flow into this boundless field,
contributing to the eternal dance of creation. A single thought of unconditional love,
sent into the universe, aligns with its highest vibration, rippling back to elevate all layers
below. Thoughts are not confined to your mind. They are energetic transmissions that travel
through the ether, seeking resonance. When you worry about your children,
that dense, anxious frequency extends to them, even across distances,
draping them in a subtle burden they may feel as unsettling. In contrast, sending love,
vibrant, uplifting, and pure, envelops them in warmth, bolstering their spirit and resilience.
This principle applies to all layers. A thought of peace, sent back to your community,
can soften its tensions. A vision of equality, sent to your nation, can inspire change.
A prayer for planetary healing can brighten the global field.
By consciously choosing thoughts of love, gratitude, and unity, you become a beacon,
radiating frequencies that harmonize with the universal consciousness.
These thoughts not only shift the collective layers, but also return to you,
amplified, as the ether mirrors your vibration. Thus, your inner world shapes the outer,
and through your thoughts, you co-create the ever-evolving tapestry of existence.
This is what we mean by co-creation. Your thoughts, words, and actions reflect your intentions,
and whether positive or negative, they offer continuous signals to the universe
for manifestation and creation. People ask, how can I awaken my third eye?
If you are interested in awakening your third eye, the chances are it's already awakening.
There are multiple levels that we tune into as our third eye becomes stronger and stronger.
Awakening the third eye doesn't mean becoming instantly psychic and seeing
all kinds of spirits and ghosts. It means tuning in more and more to your intuition,
and being able to access your inner guidance with clarity and confidence.
If you're an artist involved in making music, art, or literature,
then your imagination may also become stronger, and your ideas may become more compelling and
abundant. And yes, you may become clairvoyant, or clairsentient, or claircognizant.
We all have those innate abilities lying dormant within us, and which once come to the surface,
will depend on what your soul has chosen for you, along with what interests you the most.
To open the third eye, there are several things we can do.
We talked earlier about using crystals. Here are some more things you can do.
One is meditation. Optionally, you can use visualization to see the third eye coming
into focus. Or you can just start practicing meditation with an open mind and see what
comes through. Some people recommend chanting Aum while you meditate. At the end of this episode,
I do a 5-minute guided meditation for opening the third eye, so stay tuned if you're interested in
that. Another great way to develop your intuitive powers is journaling. Sit quietly and practice
writing using stream of consciousness. Stream of consciousness is a technique where you have
no particular theme that you want to write about. Instead, you just write whatever comes into your
head. It might be nonsense at first, but as you practice it, you start to get messages and
information that makes sense. Or you're guided to write an article or something useful. It's a
way to break a block too if you're trying to write a book, get an article published,
or start a project and you're feeling blocked. Don't forget to ask the universe for signs and
talk to your spirit team, your angels, and your guides, even if you don't know who they are.
They know who you are and they can hear you when you call on them, even when you don't hear them
back. But if you open your mind and observe synchronicities, they will get through to you
anyway they can. It might not always be what you expect. Trust your gut instinct over your ego
mind. When you find yourself second-guessing, overthinking, or telling yourself it will never
work, you are probably hearing the voice of ego. If you feel an impulse, a compulsion,
or a strong pull towards something, that's inner guidance. Have the courage to follow your
impulses and see where it leads. This is by far the best way to build confidence in your ability
to hear and follow intuition. Reiki opens the third eye and listening to music in the frequency
of 852 hertz is also helpful. Reiki is high vibration energy that sparks the crystals in
the pineal. People often report seeing blue and purple colors in their inner eye when they receive
Reiki. These are the colors that the third eye resonates to, just like it also resonates to the
852 frequency. See my video about the power of sound healing for more information about binaural
beats and solfeggio frequencies. I'll link it in the description. Yoga is also great for aligning
the mind-body-spirit connection, enabling relaxation, and fostering a receptive frame
of mind for receiving your intuitive guidance. Making sure your diet is free of preservatives,
additives, and processed food is another important key in clearing the third eye.
Also avoiding fluoridated water as much as possible. That means drinking spring water,
purified or distilled water. Purple and blue foods like blueberries, blackberries, purple grapes,
and plums are associated with the third eye due to their indigo color. These are rich in
antioxidants which also support brain health. Remember the pineal is in the brain. Fresh organic
produce like leafy greens, carrots, and apples raise vibrational energy and clear mental fog.
Fresh herbs like cilantro and parsley are cleansing and clearing. Other herbs such as holy basil,
ginkgo biloba, passion flower, dandelion, nettle, and rosemary may be used in teas or soups and have
varying effects such as supporting brain health, healing, and cleansing properties. Walnuts,
almonds, and chia seeds are often recommended for their omega-3 fatty acids and nutrients that
support cognitive function. These are necessary for interpreting and understanding your guidance
messages. Cacao and dark chocolate enhance mental clarity and stimulate the pineal gland.
Anointing your forehead with essential oils such as frankincense, sandalwood, and lavender can also
be helpful. Or wearing blue and purple crystals such as lapis lazuli, amethyst, natural turquoise,
and blue sapphire. A lot of people enjoy using psychedelics to open themselves to psychic
experiences and shamanic journeying. These things are best done in a safe environment guided by
professional metaphysical healers who know what they're doing. I would just say that while
experiences like the ayahuasca experience can be deeply healing for some people, it's not essential
in any way. So be guided by your intuition whether this kind of experience is right for you.
Many people will do very well with a bio-filled tuning session, or a series of Reiki sessions,
or meditation instead of taking drugs, while others are drawn to the more dramatic effects
of healing stimulants. Somewhere between the powerful psychedelics and the much tamer herbs
like holy basil and passionflower, we find mugwort. Mugwort carries a subtle lunar-aligned
frequency that gently opens the third eye and enhances intuitive awareness. Its energy is often
described as a soft silvery thread that weaves through the ether, guiding the practitioner into
dreamlike or visionary states without overwhelming the conscious mind. Mugwort amplifies inner vision,
lucid dreaming, and psychic sensitivity, creating a bridge to the spiritual realms,
allowing glimpses of higher truths or subconscious insights. Its effects are gentle and integrative,
often unfolding over time through dreams or quiet meditation. Mugwort specifically resonates with
the Ajna Chakra, clearing energetic blockages and enhancing clairvoyance. Mugwort can become a guide
and protector, often used to prepare the energetic body for deeper spiritual work.
It is seen as a teacher that whispers insights, rather than forcing revelations. If you use
mugwort, proceed with caution and limit your intake. You can take it as a tea or anoint your
forehead with essential oil. You can also use it as a flower essence. Use it sparingly because
overuse can cause brain fog, energetic imbalance, disturbed sleep, and energetic flooding or
overwhelm. Lastly, spend time in nature. Connect with the trees, the flowers, the birds, the dragonflies,
the butterflies. Connect with the life of the forest or the energy of the mountains or waterfalls.
Walk barefoot on the grass or on a sandy beach. Sand is made of quartz crystal and water gives
off negative ions which calm the human body. Forming a deep connection with the natural world
will not only help you attune your third eye, but will bring you a deep sense of relaxation
and help you de-stress from toxic city life. Perhaps the hardest part of the spiritual
awakening journey is finding your truth. Among all the different ideas that flood the internet,
conflicting ideas you read about in books, and ancient teachings that are floating back up into
our awareness, the spiritual awakening journey is one of searching for the truth. We become disillusioned
with our religion, our education, with the belief systems our families raised us into, but we don't
know what is better. There is no bible for the new age. That's actually the point of it, that there is
no book that lays it all out. That's because we're supposed to think for ourselves and find our own
truth and follow our own path. People say, I feel so alone. I feel different. Yes, yes, you are different.
That's the whole point. At the end of everything, we return to the oneness. We are all one. Yes,
that's true. But along the journey to oneness, we are finding our individuality, our unique and
precious gifts that belong especially to us. We're exploring what we're good at and what we're bad at.
Sadly, most of us focus on what we're bad at. We berate ourselves. We feel inadequate because we
don't fit in with the norm. We hide ourselves away, hiding our light because we don't feel worthy.
We want to blend in, not stand out. Now, no one is saying that a natural introvert needs to become
an extrovert or that we should force ourselves to be a certain way. That's counterproductive.
What I'm saying is that we should explore our differences, our unique idiosyncrasies, the way
we think, the way we like to conduct our life, our quirky characteristics that make us different.
Those are our strengths, the tools we bring with us into this life to help us fulfill our mission.
What's the mission, you might ask? For most of us, it's simply to grow in love, understanding,
and compassion. For ourselves first, and then extending that love, understanding, and compassion
to all those around us. This is how the soul evolves, burning ever more brightly as we shine
our light into the world. We can talk more about our individual life purpose in another episode.
If that would help you, drop me a comment. In the meantime, you can check out my episode on
numerology. The numbers in your birth date point to your life lesson. I'll link it in the description.
In this episode, I want to focus more on how to listen to your intuition and why it's important.
So, finding your inner compass is about figuring out who you are, what you believe, not what others
have told you to believe, but what you believe in your core, who you are at your essence,
at the energetic level, what you stand for, what you like, what you dislike.
If somebody could see the energy trail you leave behind as you walk away,
what would that look like? Peaceful? Loving? Unhappy? Undeserving? Joyful?
What energy would you like to bring to the world? Then you have to take up your courage to live
that energy, to become that person, to stand for those things that are meaningful to you.
Heart chakra energy is where you hold your self-worth. Do you feel worthy or unworthy?
Does it matter to you if those around you show you love, or can you walk tall in the knowledge
that no one else's opinion is important? Only your opinion of you really matters.
Your heart chakra reflects these energies. The solar plexus is where you hold your power,
your courage to walk to the beat of your own drum and be your own person, unswayed by the opinion
of the masses, uncontrolled by so-called authorities or other influences that surround you,
parents, church, boss, teachers, friends, family. This is one part of the journey to happiness and
a fulfilled and satisfying life, finding your inner compass, figuring out who you are and how
to be that person in a world that seeks to control your beliefs, your thoughts, your actions from
every angle. The next part is learning how to roll with the punches, going with the flow. Because we
can't control everything around us, we can only control our reaction to it. And when we stand in
our power and our confidence, and when we know we are guided by our intuition and that all things
happen for a reason, then it becomes much easier to accept what is, rather than trying to bend
the will of the universe to something that makes us feel more comfortable.
There are lots of famous role models who have allowed themselves to be guided by their intuition.
I'll touch on just a few of them. Steve Jobs, the founder of Apple, came up with the iPhone,
entirely guided by gut instinct, which was telling him that people would resonate with a sleeker,
all-in-one touchscreen gadget. He's quoted as saying,
have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what
you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary. Albert Einstein, the brain behind
relativity, swore by his intuitions. He once said, I believe in intuitions and inspirations.
I sometimes feel that I am right. I don't know that I am. While using thought experiments,
he imagined riding a light beam. This led to the theory of special relativity in 1905.
No hard data at first, he started with just a feeling, and he fleshed out the math much later
on. The result was a Nobel Prize and a legacy that bent our understanding of the universe.
Coco Chanel, the famous fashion designer. Einstein was by no means alone. Intuition was
also apparently a big part of Coco Chanel's strategy. Fashion is in the air. It's born
upon the wind. One intuits it, she said. Nikola Tesla. This electric wizard ran on
pure gut-driven imagination. He had the ability to visualize inventions whole in his mind
before building them. He turned his inventions around in his mind, looking at them from every
angle, debugging anything that didn't work before he even built it. His inventions, therefore,
tended to work first time. His most famous invention, of course, was the alternating
current motor, which underpins modern electricity. It lit up our homes, our cities and our worlds,
and sparked the Industrial Revolution. Further back in history, as far back as the 15th century,
Joan of Arc, a teenage peasant girl, heard voices she believed were divine. The voices told her to
lead France against England. She had no military training at all. You can call it blind faith,
or you can call it intuition. She convinced a skeptical prince, rallied an army, and in 1429,
turned around the Hundred Years' War with a resounding victory in Orleans.
Her gut got her canonized as a saint, even though it also led her to the stake in 1431.
But such was her destiny. Back then, as now, there were people who just can't buy into the
fact that intuition is real. I often get trolled by people online and on my website who tell me
I'm doing the work of the devil. I just send them Reiki and I get on with my life.
Another great role model guided by intuition was Richard Branson,
the brain behind the very successful Virgin group of companies. He says,
I rely far more on gut instinct than researching huge amounts of statistics.
When you rely on your gut instinct, you can stop worrying about the competition and the naysayers,
because you know you're on the best possible path for you, even when others don't agree.
Going with your gut can save your life, like the episode at 10 Downing Street,
the London home of the British Prime Minister. In 1940, at the beginning of World War II,
Winston Churchill was having dinner when a bomb went off nearby. He immediately ordered his staff
to leave the kitchen, having an instinct that something would go wrong. Moments later, another
bomb went off, right in the kitchen of 10 Downing Street. His gut instinct and his willingness to
trust in it without question saved the lives of his kitchen staff. Alright, so I hope I've
inspired you to listen for the voice of your own intuition, to learn to trust it, to become guided
by it. Let me know what you liked best, and also if there are other topics you would like me to
cover. Your likes and comments really encourage me to keep making these videos. Also, if you know
someone else who might benefit from this episode, please do share with them. This also helps my
channel grow and reach more people. So now, let's do a five-minute meditation to open the third eye.
To enhance activation, you could do this meditation again, perhaps after sipping a cup of mugwort tea.
Create a sacred space where you can sit comfortably, spine straight, allowing your
energies to align. Close your eyes and take three cleansing breaths, inhaling pure light
and exhaling any heaviness. Allow your body to soften. Feel yourself rooted to the earth
and yet open to the ether. Visualize now a soft silvery mist swirling around you,
carrying the lunar essence of mugwort. If you're not familiar with mugwort, just use your imagination.
Smell its essence in the mist. This mist cleanses your aura, preparing your third eye for awakening.
Bring your attention to the space between your eyebrows, the seat of your ajna chakra.
See a delicate indigo lotus resting there, its petals gently closed, glowing with a deep cosmic
hue. With each breath, imagine a warm radiant light flowing from your heart to this lotus.
Whisper silently or aloud, my third eye is open, clear and aligned. As you breathe in,
the indigo lotus begins to unfurl, petal by petal, revealing a shimmering eye of pure intuition
at its center. Feel its vibration hum, connecting you to the universal consciousness.
Picture the lotus blooming fully, its indigo light expanding outward, merging with the ether.
Allow any intuitive images, colors or sensations to arise without judgment.
Trust that your third eye is awakening, attuning you to divine wisdom and the collective flow.
Rest in this vision for a few moments, basking in the glow of the indigo lotus.
into your third eye, feeling it sealed and balanced. Take three final breaths,
grounding the energy by placing your hands on the earth or on your heart.
Open your eyes and know the clarity of the indigo lotus remains with you.
