First Time Going Outside TOGETHER! Breakfast at the Mall & Big Changes

hey guys welcome back to another daily juice and welcome for the first part of this video to the juicy vlog book club let's explain a little bit more so if you guys know we have recently been doing a 14-day health challenge not just fitness no all aspects of health so living better having a better all-round life i guess yeah and a part of that for us recently has been reading more you might have seen in previous vlogs we've been speaking about that a little bit and it ties in perfectly because this part of the video is sponsored by an app called dream and they are an online app for reading start the day you don't have a productive day and we've been trying to get off social media before bed and reading and it's really hot so dream is a free app to download uh it's on the app store it's on android it's on apple there's actually a link in the description you guys should definitely check this out there's over 500 000 free romance novels for you guys to check out on the platform and there's books added every single day and there's customized settings as well so you can find the perfect book for whatever you're into i'm on the app right now and there's all sorts of genres there's romance marriage even vampire werewolf science fiction a huge number of genres on here there's a community of five million users a lot of people on the platform if you read a book you can also discuss that book with other people and the cool thing about it is a lot of these novels are amateur writers they're up and coming writers if you are a writer yourself you might not just want to read books you might want to write books and contribute to the community i find that so cool and so unusual that people can actually not only read but also upload their own stuff onto it i love it it's like youtube very cool and have other people read your book in this app like how cool is that yeah so lucy and i actually decided to start reading the same book because we wanted to discuss it and historically i'm not really a fiction reader no not at all but i've found it's allowed me to switch off even more reading fiction if you're like me give it a go try it this is like a romantic novel it's kind of unusual i feel like i've never really read anything like this it feels more like 50 shades vibes yeah i'll say it's called marrying the ceo this particular book if you guys want to check at the chance so like it kind of feels like something you'd watch on netflix or something doesn't it it's like quite an exciting story this guy that she meets at this job we won't give too much away juice i have just removed my face mask and my new face shield and in george's words not mine it's like taking a breath off at the end of the day george george said that not me so i don't know what this means anyway um we're now we're now we're facing this is the first day we've come out together because it's the first day in gcq now in metro manila uh new things are happening here we're out of the mecca that we were in for two weeks the two weeks flew by and i cannot believe how quickly it went but now we have to wear these face masks as well my makeup is completely rubbed off my nose i've got a big red mark here it makes me so hot but i know it keeps us safe so it's all good and it also feels better when like someone gets a little too close to you you've got a big bit of plastic over your face so i don't know it just makes me feel so much more safe so i totally i'm enjoying i guess using the face shield we're doing some errands today we're in sm aura doing some bits that we wanted to do before the lockdown again and we didn't have a chance to so we're now back out it's quite busy here and i think everyone has the same idea um there's quite a few cues and things but it's okay and we picked up a quick copy from toby we actually got these free didn't we because there's a point system uh that adds up uh points when you buy coffees and we had loads of points we didn't realize so we got two free flat whites which is exciting and now we are at a com a restaurant called sushi nori and the food hall here this restaurant here really friendly stuff and we didn't know we've never actually been in this food court we've always walked past and never really looked in and there's loads of really cool japanese restaurants and things there's sushi there's some like uh katsu places teppanyaki brothers so i think we'll be trying out some new places i mean some places aren't open yet but we'll be trying out some new places um and we feel like sushi's not sure how we're still trying to be healthy but basically george i think george is about to explain bait the reason that we're staying indoors when we first got here it wasn't raining yeah i don't know if you can tell with the lighting it looks a little bit gray but you can see there's actually a really nice view here we should go and show you we'll show you in a second after we eat our food it's really rainy today like we walked into the mall it was sunny we did not bring an umbrella or rain jackets with us at all so that's good and as soon as we get in the morning starts raining and it is still raining so for now we're keeping cozy we're keeping indoors i don't think sushi is particularly a very rainy day food or a very breakfast food it's good to go normally against the grain you know yeah stand out from the looks better than i expected it to look they've made it all fresh because they were run out of one ingredient so i asked them to replace it with something else which means it's all fresh so it's perfect so can you talk through it because i have no idea what we're about to eat this is go green it's like lettuce i have a vegetable one yeah and this is craft sticks mango california nice and this is i think egg with some cream cheese and black sesame it's really good no sorry thank you this is the new normal guys face shield over the cap because fashion um it's also very hard to like do anything put sunglasses on that was impossible gave up on that um there's also like a reflect if i'm telling this for the people who don't have to wear facials or choose not to i guess there's also like a weird reflection inside so i keep thinking i'm walking into things yeah okay so if you see me in the street and i'm kind of like stumbling around i'm not drunk i'm not disorderly but when you take it off it seems like you've got some sort of weird 3d enhanced vision because you're saying it's also harder to communicate because you can't like if i'm looking at lucy now i can just see reflection i can't see her eyes there's an extra level of sound barrier so i don't even know if you can hear me now hello but that's what we're dealing with got play by the rules we've got to do we've all got to do our bit to help out and we're happy to do so okay guys we are back and i don't know if you can tell but i'm exhausted same for you yeah both exhausted from going outside and doing something after 14 days indoors nice to take the mask and face masks off once we get in here again but i have to say we were quite impressed it seems there's been a shift there were more people wearing face masks in the shopping mall than not so like i would say around 80 of people were wearing face masks maybe maybe 90 uh so it seems to be a lot of people really really taking it seriously and sticking to all the rules and precautions and things which is super impressive because we've seen and i don't want to get into who's doing what's who's doing things right who's not doing things right who's doing things wrong but for example when we look back at some video footage and stuff on i don't know twitter or instagram ig stories and things of the uk and some in europe and stuff and people are starting to travel again and go on vacations and things and we're seeing like people not wearing masks and i don't know it feels to me like here when you're walking around everyone has to wear a mask and at the moment it i don't know it just feels good it just makes us feel a little bit safer a little bit better this is funny you might think that we've made some drinks for ourselves these are all lucy's i said to lucy do you want a drink i'm gonna have a coffee she's like yeah i'll have a coffee please oh and a water please oh and we've also got some sparkling water so it's like okay what do you want it's like oh all three all three at the same time please now you're making a smoothie oh nice avocado and banana yeah and almond milk yep delicious also having people in today to fix this because this has been blowing out hot air for the last two days so we've had to have the bedroom one on full blast to to try and cool down the whole apartment so if we need to be cool at the moment we need to be in this room [Music] we also narrowly avoided a storm we got back in the second not exaggerating not i always feel like i'm exaggerating in these vlogs but i'm not the second we walk through this door thunder and lightning boom boom in my room lightning let me give you a weather check do you guys enjoy the weather checks i feel like it's very british thing to do it's a very british thing to always talk about the weather if you need small talk with someone or you haven't seen someone for a while i know conversation icebreaker you talk about the weather the weather europe that you're experiencing at that moment in time it's been very warm lately hasn't it yeah oh how are you dealing with the cold weather oh not too bad it's been raining a lot lately hasn't it yeah it has actually yeah we had it really bad in our street there were floods that kind of thing but let me know if you do enjoy the weather checks because i enjoy giving them today's weather check i would say not bad i would say we've got potentially some rain over here whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa some rain right above us a little bit a little bit gloomy a little bit gloomy okay lucy is about to bring the smoothies over and i've brought our blanket over because [Music] we're gonna chill for a bit and watch an episode of the grand tour which is jeremy clarkson richard hammond and james may since leaving top gear you guys probably know all this comment below if you're a fan of top gear or the old top gear or the new top gear but preferred it with these three it's their show on amazon and lucy and i have an amazon prime account so we get amazon video and it's on there and we binge watch like four episodes there an hour long binge watched a couple of those last night so we're gonna relax for a little while and watch an episode of that with our avocado and banana smoothies on this cold dark dreary rainy wednesday afternoon it's actually not cold it's very very warm and humid outside we had to shower when we got back in oh yes thank you oh cool might be weird with the straw i don't know how we'll get that through the straw but thanks i think it's like i think it will mix in yeah how is it so i've got a collection of drinks here as well now coffee sparkling water smoothie lucy netflix it's kind of chewy chewy here we go season three i find amazon though way less user-friendly than like netflix or whatever it doesn't really didn't remember what episode we were on are you serious okay as you just saw we just had some work coming in to attempt to fix this they thought it was the compressor turns out it could just be the capacitor because they tested the voltage or wattage or whatever of the capacitor and it was only running at like supposed to be 40 and it was only producing 10 so it might be that there's not enough power to actually work we're currently put put in the room whoa did you see that lightning we we have a huge huge storm coming in the guys the workers were on the balcony on a ladder which made us nervous and then there was this huge crack of this vlog because they saw the thunder button and they all subscribe oh true they subscribe if you're watching we're glad that you're okay you're okay and uh when you heard the lightning on the oh my god up a ladder on a balcony and then a huge crack of thunder goes they're brave very brave so thanks for coming out i have to say good work the company who hooked us up with the air conditioning cleaning and service in the first place have been really good because we explained it wasn't working again and they sent those guys out straight away so that is really good okay we'll do a second weather check of the vlog because we're not gonna do a full-on storm watch tonight but look guys you can't even see those buildings can't even see the mountains also guys whenever we have to move things it is lucy who puts them back because i put all this back last time and she goes are you joking that's not where anything goes and i think it's all in its perfect place but apparently it wasn't i think it's going to be a bit of a stormy evening and we're not going out again today i guess i guess the curfew i guess yeah what is that the wind maybe i guess the curfew's lifted again now must be no it's probably 10 p.m again isn't it maybe it's 10 p.m curfew um but i don't think we're going to go out again this evening we're going to make some dinner the sushi was awesome earlier really nice not our usual breakfast choice but it was nice to have a little bit of difference before we end the vlog today i
