Is Christmas Starting ALREADY? Philippines Longest Holiday is CRAZY!

get you let them pull the strings that trigger what you say think it's difficult to get up on my brain i wish life went in any other way but it's all sorrows to [Music] oh workout calm pleat that is day i always forget day 12 loose lucy was that day 12. okay but the workout day 12. that's right guys 12 days stripped we haven't had any take out food any processed food any unhealthy food any alcohol no slip ups whatsoever i said on my instagram story that is rare for me because you usually have a few little slip ups but we have gotten dressed quick outfit of the day for you guys because reason being i get a lot of messages whenever i wear this t-shirt of where it's from it's andy warhol and this was from zara it was in the zara sale i like to only buy clothes in the sale and wearing these cool socks as well that's it not very good at this kind of thing but zara changed their clothes so often the next day i went in there and this was gone so i don't know i think it's like a it was like a limited edition thing so we haven't seen as we said in the vlog yesterday for you guys i think yesterday i'm very confused we haven't seen our families for like eight months george thought it was six months it's actually eight months when we figured it out and this year i just can't tell you how quickly it's flowing by there's things on twitter that say like um march lasted two seconds april lasted six seconds like i don't know where the months are going they're just coming they're going they're rolling by next month well not even a month away in two weeks from now it's september and september's like the winter side of the year in the uk like it's insane how quickly everything's going and i just can't get my head around why i'm guessing it's because every day is quite similar and we're stuck indoors i don't know but it's kind of crazy it's something i'm very excited for about the fact that it's september i mean i don't like the idea of months rolling by so quickly really but the fact that it's now september means i mean it doesn't mean much in the uk to do with this but in the philippines where we are right now it's christmas christmas is beginning in two weeks from now we're gonna start hearing the christmas music in the malls we're gonna see the amazing decorations going up lights everywhere the trees the happiness everywhere people wishing everyone a happy holidays a merry christmas and it's just the most exciting time here in the philippines when we first came here it was october and things were starting to happen we walked into a mall and we were like whoa why is there a christmas tree what's going on it's something very unusual to the philippines it's the longest holiday here that celebrated it's all the ber months and it even goes into january which is kind of crazy and christmas is such a happy time so i think this is going to be something a bit different it's going to lift everyone's experience up a bit in the uk it's very unlucky to sing or listen to christmas songs before december before the 1st of december and if you put your christmas tree up before the 1st of december it's kind of frowned upon and people think you're a bit crazy or christmas mad but here it's the opposite so we can be in literally two weeks from now we can start thinking about christmas and decorating okay google stop the music okay google stop okay google anyone else's google play do this right so it is saturday happy weekend guys welcome to the vlog we i'm gonna put a hat on today because my hair is awful lucy is whipping up some lucy special breakfast she's gonna tell you a little bit more about it today because every time lisa puts food in the vlogs we get comments like what's the recipe what's the recipe but lucy doesn't really use recipes she just you kind of like you know how much of what stuff fit right yeah so it's all a little bit random i've made myself a little coffee i'm going to sort out tonight's video on the computer and then we're going to head out for a little bit of a walk because it's it's a nice it's a bit of a cloudy morning quick weather track so this is what we have to play with today it's okay no rain so far and this is one of the reasons i love that we bought a wheelie chair for this desk because i made myself coffee i can wheel over and get it cardo almond milk and chia seeds is that right it's delicious recommended breakfast is ready i'm hungry delicious this looks insane [Applause] the exercising oh man the exercising wakes us up slash turns georgie into a knuckle it does turn me a little bit crazy but i'm actually just excited i've got food because i'm starving right let's eat this let's demolish this have you given like a recipe or you can do it afterwards okay i want you to first then we should give you a full recipe of this masterpiece and our breakfast was delicious but does anyone else have a partner a girlfriend boyfriend whatever who whose tolerance to spicy food is so different to theirs because i was eating it like trying to breathe and it was super spicy for me but lucy's like i can't taste any spice whatsoever she has a much better spicy food tolerance than me just me anyone else [Music] you know it's crazy guys that right now england is hotter than the philippines i know i don't know if that's ever happened before but yesterday here was 28 or 29 back in england in our kind of hometown area it was 36 and even in london 36 degrees hotter than the philippines it's our family the thing is no one has ac in the uk so all our family are like moaning about the heat and it's too hot and they can't sleep everyone on twitter all our friends back home are like it's so hot what do we do we are very thankful for our ac when we live in such a hot country so i'm just out for my daily stroll even if we work out and we're exercising and stuff i do like to get outside and get outside just be in be in the fresh air which is fresher at the moment because there's less traffic and something about just seeing people just seeing life i need to do that once a day even if we can't do it as much as we would like to or would usually and i've gone the wrong trees and shop windows christmas songs playing in malls it's usually a sign usually most years when we're taking more grabs which we're not doing at the moment um when the christmas songs come on the radio here because in the uk i used to work for a radio station and we actually had a rule that i wouldn't go as far as a law but it was definitely a policy no christmas songs before november i remember our managing director being very strict about that so that was just personal preference but um yeah we weren't allowed to play christmas songs until like way into november but here in the philippines august september good to go my plan is to pick up a cup of coffee on my walk today from arabica i have no idea if it's actually open or not fingers crossed it is also need to buy some new coffee beans because we've been making our own coffee way more we are getting through the coffee beans if luis and i are having i know three or four cups each per day that's like a lot of coffee yeah we made it to the coffee shop there's people in there looks good yeah we're good hi guys how are you thank you perfect these guys just asked if i can dance the answer is no but thanks anyway you saw the tick tocks managed to pick up a one kilogram bag of beans which has been freshly prepared for me [Music] good result these guys are watching our tick tocks and laughing thank you so much thank you nice when we could go to do stuff together again and it's not something we take for granted now because i mean now we can't again so it's a little bit different but i'm just going to grab maybe like a flat wire or a corsado or something and then after that i'm going to get some bits from the grocery store just a few bits to top up we're pretty much stocked up but there's just a few bits like i said milk and like some fresh veggies and stuff that would be good to get just to keep us going over the weekend and we'll see what the tea is like out there today as well but we just don't rather now good you have polly's milk but half and half i don't know what each half is i don't know what the halves are made up of there was no whole milk all right we'll try it cool might be good with the arabica cow's milk fresh cream so it's like i think it's thicker than whole milk so maybe we'll have like cortado sizes because it might be a bit too heavy to have like a full flatter work with sounds good then i got some kale yum did you hear how enthusiastically i said yum for kale yum i actually do like kale when it goes crispy some large eggs excellent excellent eggs some reynolds wrap always useful glad snap block combo pack does it come with the sandwich or yeah yeah that's the combo no there's like big and small sandwich bags just handy to put food in then we have some corn so yes about how corny it is no i was going to carve some corny joke but i won't he said that was the joke like joke was me pretending not to have a joke they had hollywood i don't know what half a heart is they don't okay well it might be good with the arabica beans so boring aren't we i feel like we always have the same joke some almond milk you bought a lot didn't you i didn't even know you were going shopping keeping on the health train some garbanzo oh so you can make your hummus nice and because i saw it i was like i haven't been able to buy this for like two weeks so i keep going to every shop do you have chickpeas do you have garbanzos spelling it out showing photos do you have anything that looks like this nada so one two three four five oh then i got some coconut milk some more coconut water i've got coconut water i've got coconut milk i've got normal milk and i've got almond milk and some onions very nice all right now we need to put this away okay guys we have come to the end of the
