Good morning.
So this is our weekend here and
there's the new addition I added for the little ones for the gardening.
They like to be out and about.
I don't know if they'll work out this.
A couple of them went up last night when I first put it here.
A couple of them seem to work out that coming up's alright.
I said we've got a new pope, an American.
Very good.
So they worked out the ramp was no problem.
So this is just the outside.
I wanted them to have a little bit more challenging.
If they were running over the jump runway back to war all the time
I thought I'd give them something a bit different.
Seems they like the corn anyway.
They like the tomatoes.
They like the pumpkin.
Not worried about the greens.
I just love the way they run up the ramp.
I don't know why.
I always find it quite exciting.
I'm getting excited about feeding the guinea pigs.
I meant to say a special thank you to Matthew who insisted that
Oh look at those little ones.
What are they fighting about?
He insisted that I put on the thanks so he could buy me a coffee.
He said it feels it'll make us even closer in the bond.
Took a bit of messing around because I don't go over the YouTube sites that much.
Eventually I found out how it turned on and thank you Matthew.
Oh and a special thank you to Thomas Octavian, the big Yorkshireman.
I've got a watermelon here to cut up for them.
How do I do that?
I put this here.
It's always tricky trying to do everything by yourself.
Stand stays up.
Did I have my hand in the way of the camera?
That's pretty clear.
There.
Little ones all seem to be right into eating.
Didn't like that bang.
They're coming back.
Think I'll put a bit of noise from now on again.
Here, try a bit of watermelon.
Here.
Hope your video thing's still going.
Yep.
I've got some more bananas.
I've got some lettuces.
They're not really much into the greens.
Where have they all run away?
They didn't like that banging sound.
Flight or flight?
So it's funny how you get used to people and you take them, you know,
even though you love them and care for them, you start to take them for granted.
And then when they're gone, you really realise everything that they do do.
So the other day I got up early.
There's a shop down the road and a supermarket opens at six o'clock.
This was on Easter.
So I went down there to buy some milk, fresh milk, because I wanted to have a milk coffee.
In and out, just like a bloke does.
Two seconds, come home, put it on.
Oh, it's out of date or curdled.
Where I know my wife, she would have checked the dates.
Geez, they bowl through that corn.
I've got some more up here for you.
I've got some more corn for you.
Yeah, so we all have our ups and downs in life.
It doesn't matter who you are, you do.
I had a bit of a rough childhood.
Violence was a bit of a problem for me.
You grow up fast and you grow up hard.
And then everything turns out alright.
Then the other year, a couple of years back now,
I was at home hanging up a painting on a ladder,
putting in a hook to carry the painting.
And then what happened?
I suffered a stroke.
And then I was in hospital.
Couldn't walk, couldn't talk, couldn't swallow.
And my vision was blurred.
I couldn't even sip on water.
And I couldn't stand up without hanging on to something.
I had no balance.
Half my side was all numb and paralysed.
I forced myself to spend most of my time standing up,
hanging on to my bed.
And got out of there within a few days.
Even though I couldn't walk and I couldn't eat
and I was supposed to go back and do all this other stuff.
But I'd done a bit of fasting and a lot of exercising
and it all comes good.
Never give up hope.
Phew.
There's a few of them moving around.
So all the people who wrote a comment
and the ones I haven't managed to answer,
I apologise for that.
But I do try to get around and I know I do get behind.
Have a look at the watermelon.
This one's going to.
No, watermelon's not popular.
See, they're eating a few carrots.
Yeah, so,
yeah, special thanks to all those people
and I don't mean to be rude and not answer everyone.
There's a couple of slow coaches coming across.
I'm not sure about this new feeding table I've put up,
obviously.
I don't know what they've got over there, but anyway.
But I'll tell you what you don't realise,
well, I didn't realise, especially in my early days,
how many decent people there is in the world.
You just love normal things,
care for things and what nature provides.
So, I mean, I was blown away the other day
when I saw I'd had over eight million views
and I go, well, that's eight million good people, you know.
And there's a lot of good people out there in the world,
in a small percentage of not-so-good, I guess.
Oh, someone's eating a bit of watermelon.
God bless all you good people out there.
I've got some spingy going on, I didn't put that out.
So if I'm moving the camera too fast, I'm sorry for the vertigo.
Oh, see, they're after more carrots.
Well, I've got them all, haven't I?
Oh, I love that one, he's sitting up on top.
I'll walk around there and have a little look.
I'm trying not to move around too much with the camera
because I was told that it makes it very hard when you're watching.
They go for the pumpkin.
They're pretty good, I appreciate how clever they are,
they don't eat the seeds.
Pretty well on anything.
So an American Pope, very interesting.
That was the chickens in the background.
And when I made that bang sound trying to cut me watermelon,
I put the...
I've seen a few of them, they run off, but...
See how it is again.
Oh, I've got some more carrots here.
There we go.
Hey, hey.
Oh, I'm cold.
Spinny.
Am I good?
Yeah, don't fight over there, come here.
Here.
Do you like the carrot or the spinny?
No one's gone for the...
I don't think anyone's touched any of the greens.
They get greens all the time.
I don't mind the old orange when I peel them for them.
But with the lemons, I'll eat the peel and all.
With the oranges, they don't.
Oh yeah, very good.
So they...
It's a little bit strange for them up here.
So they feel more comfortable where they've got a bit of the overhang of the orange tree.
They feel protected.
I know different kinds, big birds fly over and they do take off.
They look for a bit of cover.
Hmm.
A bit of tomato, not one bit of greenery.
That's what they get.
That's what's under their feet when they're running around.
They're not that worried.
There's still a few on the ground here.
Haven't worked out.
Come up.
Someone's doing a bit of a smell test.
Yeah, watermelon wasn't popular.
Maybe it was a bit cold because I didn't leave it in the fridge overnight.
It's morning here.
Our sun's just coming up.
So, gee, you notice prices, how they go up when you get started.
You know, I don't normally do shopping, but it's been some more lives away.
I used to go to the supermarket and buy a pack of these little lamb chops, nine of them.
And they were $12, $15, depending on the weight.
Next thing, they're $23.
$24, $25, depending on the weight.
And the other day I went there and they're over the $30 mark.
So in a couple of months I've managed to double the price.
So nothing super distressing for some people out there.
I've probably banged on enough this morning.
It's amazing, I had quite a bit on this morning.
And whatever reason, I slept in until, I don't know, it was nearly 6 o'clock by the time I jumped out of bed.
The other mornings I'm out of bed, because it's light here, it's early.
Well, earlier than other parts of the world.
Other mornings I'm, you know, before 5 I'm out of bed.
So there's always plenty of roads in the world.
So the car that I hadn't used for a while, then I drove it down and it stopped.
I drove to the local hardware shop and when I went to restart it, it wouldn't start.
