WE HAVE TO FIND A NEW MIDWIFE FAST! OR UNASSISTED HOME BIRTH!? | SCHOOL AFTER HURRICANE FLORENCE

I [Music] [Music] good morning everybody today is everyone's first day back at school Danielle is making lunches right now we got to get Tyler laying out the door and mommy's got something yummy for your lunches for school you got my window [Music] all righty your first day back alright so getting a car hey dude you look in the car our vans semester haven't cleaned it out since our trip so so we have just a little bit of remnants of all the trash and things that were collected on our way home we're at the school or better drop the kids off are you ready are you doing stay in the back cuz they gotta open the door to let you out that way cuz they gotta get Eddie out - ok if you're happy and you know it clap your hands if you're hot being you know it's a charity show if you're happy and you know it yeah so we decided to come to Aldi real quick get a few things and that should check the store we've never been in here I haven't been in since I was younger but together we've never been in this store so get a few things we need like some produce and things like that so I went and she went actually wants it so in order to get a shopping cart out you have to put a quarter in the shopping cart and then when you return it it unlocks the quarter and you get your quarter back pretty fancy stuff but it's a good it's a way to save them money I'm not having to hire people well I guess that's not good for people that need jobs but it's good for them to save money and get your car together so I guess they're not doing anything to help B importantly No [Music] I was really looking hoping that they might have my favorite chocolate because this is a lot of like international stuff here they don't but if you're in Germany and you want to send me some it's called the sunrise and it's like milk chocolate with like puffed rice inside of it I don't see it here or anything comfortable [Music] $2.99 for organic strawberries somebody it's an anchor once and then let me get another bag of shoes they're like the perfect size [Music] all right we made it out and we got a good amount of stuff here is $90 for everything which at our grocery store by our house would have been wailing oh yeah so cool now we're gonna head home now we're heading home me and ever Largo Nago get the girls from the bus stop it's always sweet watching them come off the bus because they're just excited about their day they just had but then they turn the little monsters when they get into the house and start fighting and screaming so now looking forward to that you ready I'd go say hi let's go get him let's get your sissies [Music] ok it's really odd cuz I just got out here and there's literally no parents out here and I was like running late it's a little like what's going on where's all the parents I'm gonna go get my phone just make sure we didn't get a phone call they're all supposed to pick a kid up or something [Music] [Applause] oh now you see yeah that's weird your shoes did you play outside at recess I think I saw you out there so quick I just was like I think that's Tyler but it might have been Elena okay okay so we made it home and I crashed hard on the couch I'm so tired I feel like just that trip was exhausting but really the past cold months just spinning I've just been exhausted so um anyway took a nap and then I've just been like bumming it and you can tell I'm still tired like I could go back to sleep right now and not you didn't be upset about it I wanted to give you guys a quick update we've had people asking and obviously have not shared any news for a while I'm regarding baby number six so one update is that I'm not sure where I'm delivering this baby pretty sure we're done at the office that we had plans to which really really sucks if I'm being honest because if you saw my home birth first Hospital birth video we'll put a card in so you can click over to that if you haven't seen it but I kind of weighed the pros and cons if each home birth would been away cheaper but I really liked this practice I liked the Midwife that delivered Adeline and Jude when she worked there it works there I really I just we've decided to pay more out-of-pocket to go there and then yeah I just I feel like we got treated kind of poorly because of our making videos about our pregnancy they never called they never did anything I got a letter in the mail saying that our payment plan was garda not in the mail and email saying our payment plan was cancelled and then we missed a letter like they sent like a certified letter but we were not here apparently and so we missed that but I'm getting it's saying something about me not being a patient there anymore or something but they've not through this entire experience called me once or said anything at all which just seems so crazy to me yes it's really frustrating it's really frustrating so now we have to go through the process of trying to get a refund because we've prepaid three quarters of the four thousand dollars to have this baby we need to go through the hassle of trying to get our money back for one find a new place we did go tour a birthing center which I do really like the only downside is like part of the reason I wanted to go somewhere was just to have this few days in the hospital like to just focus on the baby and just be me and John and the new baby it's much easier to do that when I'm not I'm not coming home but with the birthing center you'd have like 6 to 12 hours after and then you go home but it's something that we are definitely considering it's beautiful and it's a really nice environment a really great place to have a baby I have friends who've delivered there so that is something we're turn away and decide we'd have to decide really really soon but with the hurricane and leaving like we've just put it on the back burner obviously this last week but we need to make a decision in the next couple days regarding that because during my gestational diabetes test which I've never I don't think even been close to it so I'm not too worried about it but we need to get that done and I mean I couldn't have talked about just like let's have an understood worth but John was not on board with that idea I think he this difference mom I'm like dude you've seen birth enough times like you probably would handle it like a pro but obviously with the kids and everything that would be crazy choose so I don't know it's just it's all insane to me just even having to deal with this and just the fact that they weren't like courteous enough to call us and like chat and I mean that I don't know otherwise I'm feeling good I'm tired I feel we move all the time now and I think I'm like Sunday's should be 30 weeks I mean it's only like 10 more weeks left really having cravings or anything like that I'm like ice and water I feel like I'm really thirsty a lot dehydrated a lot it's hard to keep up with my fluid intake but I'm drinking water and ice all day long and I've just been tired like so tired like third-trimester exhausted so I'm kind of ready for December to get here - the fact that it's all there being sanity starting with Thanksgiving Thanksgiving two weeks Alana's birthday two weeks islands birthday one week Christmas in between that period of things even the Christmas we're gonna have a baby so that all feels like oh my goodness like let's just close our eyes and like fastest I don't know we're gonna survive that month but it's good and he is with us and we know you guys are praying for us and we appreciate it alright I think
