If you like me, then you're not on your own.
Get in the car.
All right, Robert, Doc, you made it to the 2025 Swatch Nines.
There's the course.
Taco down.
Made it down to the course.
We got Alex Taco.
Up at the start, we have that whale feature that we were showing off at the start of the video.
Coming up now, we got the Insta360 loop feature.
This thing is so gnarly, it's growing icicles.
That's nice.
That's a sign.
Dude, it is large.
And at the end, you have that down tube.
Oh, going lip on, dude.
All right, off to the big jump.
Oh, dude, this never gets old.
That's the gauge of just like the top section of the lip.
We have some sort of mirror.
If you soiled yourself, you can check that out immediately after takeoff.
Yeah, look at that angle, dude.
My body's a train wreck, so if I can get a 360 on it, I'll be happy.
You got Luca Harrington here, so we're going to see some trip 19s.
Robbie, what's your take?
I don't want to do it.
Next up, we have the feature I was most terrified of, the disaster bar.
Like a gnarly disaster, you'd be like, all right, that's the takeoff.
But that's just an ad placement.
That's the takeoff.
Yeah, I mean, it's always hard to pick up the scale on camera.
But from the end of the jump to the start of the rail, you were looking at a near 50 foot gap.
Meaning you'd be sailing in the air for a good two odd seconds before making contact with this piece of tubing.
And after the disaster bar, you have this little spaceship shindig down this way.
The takeoff on the hips this year are nowhere near as big as they were the previous year.
But it still looks ridiculous.
Lord willing, we'll be all right.
Now the goal for day one was to hit every feature on the course
and hopefully do it without seeing the back of an ambulance.
Alex and I figured we'd start off the smallest features and then work our way up to the spookiest.
All right, dude, run it.
All right.
Don't need a lot of speed.
Survive!
And now the gap.
Yeah, I'm not going for the nose butter three, we'll do this.
Sick!
Big old tail chop.
Boost.
Wow.
Yeah, I think I didn't get like the optimal transition catch there.
I got to dive a little bit down, but we survived.
I almost regretted my front four because it slowed me down quite a bit.
I love how you're in a place where you regret a front four on first tee.
Like, that's incredible.
With the easiest line out of the way, it was time to turn up the gnar and pump over to the medium line.
This is the highway roller to volcano step up.
Well, I give him a little bit of speed.
Off into the step down.
Step up.
Yeah.
I promised you a dub seven, didn't I?
Did you hit dub seven?
I hit dub seven.
What?
Yes!
Oh my!
Unreal first hit.
If you're hitting these things, I got to be stepping up my game.
Your parents must be so proud of the dime you are.
You don't even know how happy Evan and Laura are someday.
All right, buddy.
Well, we made it through small.
We made it through medium without any lacerated spleens or broken femurs.
Now we're on to the big boot, which I think is going to be not too bad, but the hip.
The hip looks a little bit deadly.
Yeah, I'm most afraid of the hip, to be honest.
But just follow me.
Take a good angle.
And let's just land high up.
Let's run it, buddy.
Enjoy.
Oh, brother.
Well, let's hit the biggest jump in Europe right now.
You good?
Yeah.
I mean, pretty safe to say this was the scariest crash of my entire life.
Coming off the takeoff to see Hackle tacoed up on the banks, coping with my ski pointed
straight to his neck.
But if you slow down the footage, you can see my ski just barely K-Feds his left arm
and I spanked the tail of his ski before collapsing my knees and body checking the
floor below.
Oh, you good?
Yeah.
Oh, I think I just landed on your neck.
Are you sure you OK?
I'm OK.
OK, get in here.
This is the absolute definition of something looking much worse than it was.
But I'm just happy Alex wasn't injured.
I mean, dude, if I were to properly hurt this one of a kind athletic piece of flesh, I would
personally toss my YouTube channel into the trash and check myself into a Colombian prison.
He's on his way to go capture his ski because it's still posted up on that dent.
Definitely need to carve up a little bit more to the left on the hip.
Alex wants redemption.
So we're going to go up for round two and maybe take it a little bit slower on that
first jump.
I think that's the most amount of airtime I've ever had in my entire life.
Even more than the hundred foot yard sale to the back of the whale tail on last year's
nines.
Gnarly.
Yeah.
Give me some space.
Let's not do that again.
We can do a couple of carves into it.
There we go.
That did it, man.
It's just waiting to kill you.
I thought I was about to do the same thing, too.
I need to drink some water, man.
My eyes keep blacking out.
So I thought I'd look up and see if I can let a fool explain that she's the only one
I'm holding when the day's cold.
I heard the only place I'm headed when the day's old.
And when the day's young, travel every place told me.
I want to do want to be your place.
So that's just a real small taste of what went down on this thing during the week.
But here's a few other moments to keep in your hippocampus.
First day of the week, Luca Harrington chucked a switch quad 1620 straight to bottom.
Vincent Bale followed him up with a textbook quad cork 1800
and also managed to hit a triple 1080 hand drag across the landing.
Oyvind out of Norway stomped the world's first switch backside quad 1620
and Jay threw the world's first cork 360 disaster to a down bar on a sit ski
just to name a few other big moments.
Now, speaking of disasters, it's time to stop prolonging the inevitable
and take my sorry caboose over to the flat down to attempt this feat.
And it's crazy, like obviously the magnitude of the kicker is nowhere near
as the big kahuna out that way or the hip.
But the fact that it's not a jump, dude, you're supposed to land 90 slide out
and you can't even see the thing when you're coming into the end run is a little dicey.
Alex, man, take out a life insurance policy as quick as you can.
Now, considering this was the last feature on the checklist,
I wanted to go about it in a safe manner.
So the plan of action was to give myself three attempts
with the first two attempts dedicated to speed checks
and the third and final hit committed to the piece of metal.
Oh, this is ridiculous.
I think I think so.
I'm going to do one more little bit faster because I did dish and then it's it.
Oh, you ready? Yeah, dude.
Yeah. Now we just commit like a 25 year old mortgage and bring her home, dude.
I think I'll follow you in again on this one.
I appreciate you, coach.
Buckle up. Oh, I got the heebie jeebies.
Looks so devastating from this angle.
Oh, my.
Oh, my Lord.
Trip fly 10 triple backflip to a trip frontie.
That was some good motivation.
Let me know when you're ready. Ready, coach.
Time for the scariest feature on the course here.
Oh, ha, ha, ha, ha.
Oh, that was disgusting.
But let's go.
Oh, yes.
It's so, like, underwhelming.
But I'm just so happy to get that done and dusted.
OK, well, I need a minute, man, for whatever.
Wow.
I came off the lip and you have so much time to, like,
stare at the rail underneath your feet and buck out if you don't want it.
Dude, we went big, eh? That was big.
I went straight to the end.
Yeah, that was good.
I want to make sure we weren't flirting with that knuckle.
Dude, all thanks to the big coach, Mr. Alex Hackle.
There's no way in hell I'd be walking out of this thing alive if it weren't for him.
I mean, I almost ended his career, but thankfully we were able to dodge that fatality.
Time to celebrate. It was time to sash.
Oh, my God.
