Our Biggest Mistake in the Philippines

[Music] good morning guys Oh welcome to another daily jeez I'm starting the Frog here today we'd be full only reason that doesn't make sense purely because I've never started a vlog sat in this chair and it's day 25 today and I thought I'd mix it up so welcome 25th in this apartment that's crazy I actually can't believe how many days it's been and how it almost is thrown by the whole thing and but here we are still in these four walls and oh that's like a storms coming I think we need those super humid today we're coming into Philippine summer so it's super super hot outside I know that because I did my workout this morning my Lucy blog room workout 10 minutes outside I did it with no rest it's normally 45 seconds exercise and 15 second rest but I did straight through ten exercises for a minute each I'm on the balcony so that I'd get all sweaty but yeah that's what are you going to shower it up got them ready for the Jay Jordans editing the vlog and the hi Fred the weekly delivery of vegetables that we get as you guys know from the other video where we film that I'm it just arrived in perfect time so I can make some lunch as you can see these guys are currently delivering in bed just here and we were like shall we go and look back at some of our videos from the Philippines in general when we were just looking through and sort of thinking about the great memories and stuff and then we came across a few things and I'll wait for Josh to finish editing the vlog I'm gonna make up some lunch but it's it's funny guys wait for this okay lunch is ready we've got some fish I don't know what fish it is it's a white fish of some sort it was in the freezer with some green beans cabbage and garlic and then these little crispy sweet potato mmm okay they're like crisps wait UK crisps / chips Philippines chips - crisps because it's mixed now somewhere in the middle but I'm gonna eat Lee ice watch some YouTube and then we'll talk to you guys after I I'm eating out what we're gonna blow I came over as if I was gonna add something to the vlog no I just thought do it cuz you did the other challenge to me it's not a challenge of I'd say something shocking to you but we literally could have to blow a lot of that and the other challenge in yesterday's vlog but you acts you didn't even do on purpose lunch was very delicious really really nice meal Lucy's not something to her shoulder I don't think I think it's just getting worse every day and as you say it was a pinched nerve I've looked up symptoms and it kind of matches that and that's not good but I don't know how to get rid of it but I was lying in bed like this and I looked one side and it kind of went like spasms a little bit and then truth then it's been getting worse and like now I just try to lightly lift myself up and it's over and I couldn't do it I think it's because I think it's part of the reason is because we've been so still or so much more still compared to what we usually are like in bed like I've got weird like nerves like in my legs and stuff which is slightly painful kind of linked to my back hmm yeah as Lisa said earlier we were in bed earlier watching some old vlogs so we were watching basically the first time we came to the Philippines which was November 2019 and it's just hilarious watching us try Filipino okay let's talk about this one Filipino breakfast for the first time it was on the second trip in educational we work we'd ordered taps alot Gina and chicken tagine oh yeah so now with the team in Ticino I don't know happen - I think it's - Gina you should know this I actually really like that yeah by watching us we'll put a little clip in because it is funny yeah we freaked we we pretty much don't even know what vinegar is we don't know what to expect from the beef tapper I'd like for now that's such a normal meal for us now because you have that so much but it's only in this clip you're about to see it's almost like this is a completely new thing that we've been it's quite funny it's like we're aliens from space and they put like a burger in front of us and we're like oh this is a bun what if you rather than even you're like do I eat the egg with the right yeah no idea and then there's a little and side salad garnish and we're both like oh I don't want to eat it you eat it no you eat it like really worried no idea is like it's so funny [Music] good morning guys this morning we've just woken up at a hotel and Boracay our breakfast is that ready we have gone for a very very traditional Filipino breakfast this morning so I've got the taps log the rice so I'm guessing it's just normal right I still don't know what this liquid is you know it smells like watermelon I've no idea please let me know but also I want to know is the whole breakfast called taps log or is it just the service called taps log not being very brave here am i I'm just taking a small bit okay nice bit of rice a nice bear beef oh wow I did not expect it to taste like that like this beef it's almost like sweet and this is pork right sweet pork I think both of them asleep so we've heard that for the penis love like sweet food now you meant to have like egg we met as well at the same time get the right separately or is it like it will free combined all talks and binds I don't make this thing okay I want you to try this because well I don't know what it is is it just cabbage neither of us have tried it yet get it in your mouth there's so many of these moments I mean we're both like in bed in hysterics like thinking as if this is asked like you know the classic for us is the hello hello firstly record it hallo hallo and then we mix we didn't mix it yeah it translates to mix mix we didn't we didn't know they didn't tell us I mean we didn't ask but I wouldn't normally ask if I'm supposed to mix something anyway ate it like in pieces it's just funny we'll show you now okay so to finish off we've gone for this which is cool it's very like [Music] okay I need to try each individual element I think and another one I got completely slated for in the comments I would have been reading about some comments in this video don't remember I had electron without any rights I literally did a whole video I didn't even try electron with rice at super training to be yeah put any clip now again you need a little bit more I think I'm gonna go without this up again okay [Music] how good and as you can see like I literally I'm just eating a like it takes an amazing but I wasn't any right sniffing he was like oh my god where is the ride we were there just to taste that yeah I think that was on our mind but we didn't know your lyrics it's good it is with rice yeah so many of these if there's anything you guys remember because we know that a lot of you have watched our videos for a long time or are looking back now in yeah there's so many people doing juicy dog marathons which is really cool shout out to Chris who I know every day is watching five videos about per day doing a marathon so in shout out TV well over 800 videos now on the juicy vlog and only like four or five hundred of those would have been back in the UK when we weren't full-time youtuber yeah or maybe left I don't know I don't know what the numbers are but if you are doing that if you're watching old videos we appreciate that if you remember any particular moment that you found funny or humorous or I don't know that if there's any moment you remember the vlogs please let us know tell us the video give us a timestamp and then we can watch it and react to it again yeah so many hewed stand-up moment for me I don't even actually filmed this it was our first tricycle ride ever and it was the first day in the Philippines oh no we were in Manila for the first day then just for one night and then we went to Puerto Princesa this was bad and oh no not that that long after that was after El Nido you're getting mixed up oh okay I'm talking about when we were in this tricycle and badly we'd never been in a tricycle feel like we did this what what's going on here we didn't know it was so common here can we find that clip yeah I think I should I find it okay so on this crazy tip turn they're so different to like in Cambodia or whatever and the guy just saw something new as like wait one sec and now he's pulled up to see his friend no idea what's going on but we've been told to wait we've been told to wait here and then we were like both talking to each no it was really noisy because of us it's a motorbike and then the guys like stop state and we're like this isn't where were meant to be he's like one sec then just gets out and runs to his mate and just trust him for me I mean well I was out I think we've logged it yeah I think we did and then another time that I was talking about is when we got totally ripped off by a tricycle driver blessing trying his luck with some foreigners he wouldn't know any better and try to charge us over five hundred nine hundred nine hundred pesos for a 10-minute journey we had no idea what we were doing at that point let's traveler how much money we're like doing the conversions on our apps and stuff like that oh maybe it's about right but I think it's all part of the fun and it's all part of like progressing and learning and getting to know a new culture and now we can look back and be like wow we really do know a lot about this country yeah yeah but I didn't realize that the old earth would know so much at the time though yeah it's so weird it's crazy I'm tempted to sit on that seat you know I'm if you saw yesterday's vlog Lucy did a bit of a Q&A section just her I've had some questions on Instagram [Music] lovely my favorite time of day I think I've said that the morning was my favorite I don't know no sunset again this evening guys unfortunately but it's still good to come out here and get a little bit of fresh air get a little ice warm that we've noticed it's definitely getting warmer later on into the evening a week or two a guard come out here this time they'll be nice and cool little breeze coming over right now feels like a midday Sun heat guys loose and I are about to film
