Yes! Good morning guys, welcome to another Daily Juice. Welcome along. You might be wondering
why our landline phone was stored on top of our wardrobe and that is because we basically have
never had a use for this until now. It's a modern age, we use our mobiles for all our calls. Today
we've been reliably informed that one of our favourite restaurants is taking orders over the
phone for home delivery. So we thought we would fish this thing out, try and give them a call.
So we've never even plugged this in, so I need to actually figure out...
I'm hoping. We pay for calls on our package, we've got a PLDT
internet package which comes with calls. So I guess I just plug it in here.
This way. Nothing. No dial tone. Wow. Guys, this literally says phone on it. Let's give that a whirl.
Oh yes! We have beeping loose. We're in business. Let's try and dial. So this is actually a really
cool device here. If you don't know what this is, basically you can talk to people
who aren't in the same room as you. It's really cool. You each have a unique code. You then dial
that code and the other person, if they have the same device, can pick it up and you can speak to
each other. Really, really cool. No delay. Really cool invention. So we're going to use it.
So we might not need to dial 02 because we're already here, right?
I reckon they're really busy. Hi there, can we make an order for BGC delivery please?
Thank you so much. Thank you. It's two pulled pork grain bowls. Thank you. Yes, thank you.
And also two cabano toasties. Okay, thank you so much. Thank you, bye.
All right, we have ordered. Now while we're waiting for the order, we want to chat to you
guys about something. It's been going on for both of us and we want to know if this has been
happening to you guys too. Yeah, I've seen some tweets and I think it might be a thing at the
moment. Yeah. And I think it's because we're talking about dreams and sleep. I think it's,
we've basically both been having incredibly, incredibly vivid dreams. Not the good kind.
No. And like not quite for me, it's not been quite nightmares, but it's been like quite
uncomfortable and like there's so much detail and like you're, I don't know, I guess it's a
nightmare. I'm not like waking up screaming. I'm not going to say like what we've had. Some haven't
even, some haven't even been that bad or nightmares. Some have been really plain and
boring. Just like I'm driving. Really? I haven't had anything. But it really just feels like I'm
there driving and it really feels like I'm in that place and it, one of those dreams that doesn't feel
like a dream. I had a dream that I think it's because of what we're watching at the moment
and George woke me up at the worst possible moment to wake me up, right? I'm going to, I'm not going
to go for all the dreams, but I'm going to tell you this one. I was for some reason in this Marvel
Academy and I was about to become a superhero. Oh my God. And. That's so you. I know. And I was at
this award ceremony and I'd found out that I and this other guy called Nick or something, us two
out of this whole Academy, this whole Academy were the first two people to be given our like Marvel
powers or like accreditation. Yeah. And then literally the guy was about to read my name out
of this thing and I was about to turn up and retrieve it. And George wakes me up literally at
that moment. And I was, I woke up and I was like. Morning. I'm sorry. I think, I think our imaginations
are compensating for the fact that none of us can go out at the moment. None of us been able to go
outside and actually experience real life things at the moment. So our imagination is taking over
at night. Also like the longer sleep we've been having and laying in later in the morning. Um,
and I think there's a few things, I think the lack of any fresh air and exercise. I don't know.
We did try and do something that we thought would be interesting and we thought we could show you
in the video. And we will try and do this again. There's an app that records any noise in your
sleep. So if you're sleep talking or snoring or making any weird noises on Android, it's called
dream talk recorder. And what you're meant to do is set the background noise as normal. And then
anything that goes over that, it will pick up. So it doesn't do a huge recording,
but I think because of our air conditioning and the clock ticking,
it recorded our entire night's sleep. Ours was way too sensitive. So it's supposed to just give
you small clips of like your dream talking or your sleep talking, which we did years ago,
but we didn't vlog it. But our air con is blowing noisy. Ready? That was a weird noise. So you can
see it along here. That's the clock ticking. You can hear us moving around. It recorded for 11
hours. There was one bit at 4am I think that sounded a bit weird. It's like crackling. I
think that's you grinding your teeth. I think you might be right. We were hoping for some like
really spooky sleep talking or having a conversation or something. How is our air
conditioning that noisy? Let us know in the comments if you guys have been also having
these dreams, how your sleep's going. Cause we have been struggling to get sleep as well, but
we're going to try this again and try and get some funny recordings for you guys. Cause I think it'd
be interesting because Lucy always, you haven't said it for a while, but you often say you were
talking rubbish in your sleep. You were talking absolute nonsense, not about anything. And then
also I definitely hear you speaking in your sleep. So I really want to try and record it,
see what we're actually saying. Then we have to record every night's sleep. Yeah, that's fine.
But we'll just set the sensitivity different. Just whilst we wait for our lunch to get here,
I've made a little green juice. We've got kale, spinach, cucumber, lemon, banana, blueberries,
celery, ginger, and a little bit of almond milk, water and ice. Might be revolting, but it's one
of them ones that looks very green, but tastes, tastes very healthy, but it's super, super good
for you. And we also for breakfast had like super food oatmeal-y type things. So like porridge with
loads of good antioxidants and different seeds and berries and nuts and things are really good
for you. So eating fairly well at the moment. One of the things we've ordered for lunch is healthy
and the other one we'll probably have for dinner is a little bit more unhealthy, but like we would
say balance is key. Can't eat that. I can't drink that. Loose, it tastes like a garden. You've got
some fruit in it or something. There is fruit in it. Sugar in it. Just fill the rest up with sugar,
then we're good. I can't, genuinely, I'm good at green stuff. I'm good at green juices,
green smoothies, healthy stuff. What is it that makes it taste bad? I think it's the spinach.
Put almond milk in it. Yeah. There's almond milk and blueberries in it and lemon and ginger. I
think it's just overtaken by green. This tastes like I'm eating a tree. Incredibly good for me,
so I'm going to power through. Down it. You actually want a little bit of honey in there
because I've got wild honey. It's quite good for you. Yeah. It's really hard to drink. Honey? Yes,
please. Honey. Would you like some honey? Yeah. Quick weather check this morning. We're looking
kind of gray. There's a, oh, this is a, oh, this is a big, big gray cloud. The mountains are kind
of clear, but it feels a bit gloomy today. Yeah. It really feels like it needs to rain. It feels
kind of muggy and humid. Um, and I hope there's a big storm that comes over and clears the air a
little bit, um, and maybe cools it down a bit, but this is really bad. This tastes really disgusting.
I'm trying to shake it to the lumpy bit. See, it's all just like separated. There's a big
lumpy bit at the top and the bottom's kind of runny. Okay. Okay. The food arrived. I put the
bowl, it was in like a box. I put it back into a bowl. Um, it's a little bit too much food for one
bowl. So I'm gonna have to eat this very carefully, but we've got this red rice, pulled pork, avocado,
egg, and then like loads of little salad-y bits with it. It's really nice. And bless the people
at St. Louis, it's free delivery in BGC and they actually walked to us to bring it. I didn't
realize they'd be doing that. So it's really, really sweet. And I think it's nice, obviously
for us to eat this food, but also great to be able to support this business. Um, because it's one of
the few businesses that are still open. Um, so it's always good to support these businesses by
ordering from them occasionally. I think I love pulled pork so much. A little bit of egg,
a little bit of avocado. I was just saying in a vlog yesterday, how much I wanted to see a storm
here. And we're seeing it now. Let me see if I can show you guys. We're literally watching it. The
ground was dry here and we've watched the storm and rain just come in. So, so cool. It might be
hard for you guys to see this, but you can kind of see how misty it is along here. And it's just
it is dark outside. Um, thanks Luz for making loads of noise. And my hair has gone really curly
and big today. I kind of look like Joe out of you, if anyone's seen that on Netflix. But, um,
today's pretty much been a full on editing day, really. We've spent most of the day
editing videos because yesterday we thought we filmed five videos yesterday. Turns out we filmed
seven videos because some extra stuff we filmed, we realised would be better as separate videos.
I've just watched back Lucy's pageant video of her Miss Brighton video. She reacted to it. Um,
her pageant from like three years ago. Is that going to be online by the time this is? I think
it's just gone online. Okay. We think it's on the Lucy blog already. So if you want to
check that video out, go ahead and do that. What? She looks so different how you look now. Don't
you? You look better now, but you look good then still. I look plump. We purposely ordered earlier
too, because we knew we'd be editing pretty much all day. We ordered four meals earlier,
so two each and we're just ordering. So Lucy didn't have to be cooking and stuff. So we're
just heating up. That doesn't look like it's heating up. We're heating up. It looks like a
very flaccid piece of soup. Oh my God. Is that, that's one, right? Okay, good. So we also ordered
these toasties, which have like meat in them and pickles and mustard and stuff. They look a little
bit like roadkill, don't they? It'll taste good. It'll taste good. Is this even on? Yes, of course.
On a low heat. You don't even know how to use this oven. Don't question me if I've turned it on.
Are we opening this? No. Why? Because I don't feel like it. Do you want a beer? No. Because
we had beer yesterday. I just feel like we're drinking a lot of alcohol at the moment,
like every day. And I just kind of want to have a break today. That's true. It's up to you. Like
you can, but I know that when we open that, we need to eat it within a few, drink it within a
few days. And I don't want to do that. Lucy's really good at savouring things if we've got
them in, but if I've got like four beers in. I think savouring means keeping it for longer. Oh,
I guess that's savouring. I've never heard it used like that. Oh yeah. Savouring. Yeah.
Making things last, like chocolate and things. If I have four beers in the fridge,
I'll happily have a beer. Only one. I only need one per night, but I'll enjoy a beer for four
nights in a row. Lucy, I do. That is so not true. I didn't used to, but at the moment, that's fine.
If we have two bars of chocolate in. Oh, I can't resist chocolate. Yeah, actually. I'm worse with
chocolate. You're worse with beer. Yeah. If it's there, I feel like Lucy's in the mindset of let's
save it because we're really fancying through this. I'm like, we've got it now. Enjoy it. Enjoy
the moment. I know that when I do grocery shopping, I can't love loads of beer. So we were
lucky that our friend went to the shops and bought some alcohol and dropped it round. That's true.
And we dropped it downstairs and we came and got it. And I can't carry crates of beer and loads
of wine as well as the other food. Yeah. So I know that when this runs out, we're not going to have
any for a while. So I'm like, well, I'd rather know we've got a bit in. Who do you agree with?
Whose side are you on with this? What kind of personality do you have? I don't know. Use it all
now because you've got it and you might as well enjoy it because you've got it. But I do still
like enjoying it, but just not every night, three beers a night. That's not heating up. No, it is.
It's hot. Okay. All right. What are you expecting to do when it heats up, start
wiggling around the blooming pan? What are you expecting? I'm expecting it to start sizzling.
It's not going to sizzle, it's bread. It's bread in a hot pan. There's no oil. It's just bread.
It's not going to sizzle, is it? What do you think? It's going to start going, oh,
hello, I'm bread and I'm getting hot and cooked. Oh, sizzle. Ah, day 26.
