Didn't expect me to come from there, did ya?
Good morning, guys.
Good morning and welcome back to another Daily Juice.
Welcome back to our apartment, day 19, lockdown.
I'm wearing my Cinalog shorts that are covered in paint,
in case you were wondering.
And this morning, we received a very exciting parcel
dropped to our apartment, Lucy D, that's me.
And I want to show you guys, because it's really exciting.
Hope you guys are all doing well.
I'll talk to you about this little parcel in a second.
Why has the camera gotten heavier?
I swear this hurts more than it normally does.
Hope you're all doing well today.
For anyone wondering, we are now film number three
into our Marvel film thing.
As you guys know, we're watching them in order,
chronological order of the story.
We watched Captain Marvel last night
and we watched Iron Man this morning.
We might watch Iron Man two later.
We're on a bit of a roll with it now.
So we're keeping nice and busy with that.
And I feel like the days are going really quickly
at the moment.
I don't know why that is.
The camera battery is about to die.
This is what happens when you stay indoors.
You don't have to think about charging batteries.
It makes you a lazy vlogger, I'm telling you.
Anyway, we hope you guys are doing well.
We're nearly three weeks into this thing now.
So hope you're all adjusting well
and keeping safe and keeping healthy.
And we hope these vlogs that you guys have been watching
are bringing you a little bit of positivity,
a little bit of lighthearted entertainment
for 10, 15, 20 minutes of your days.
But yeah, let me show you this little parcel right here.
This is a company called Hi Fred.
We had them on the podcast.
If you guys watched the Do The Thing podcast,
they were episode three, three, I think?
No, two.
They were episode two, that was it.
And they're basically like
a fruit and vegetable delivery company.
They don't use any plastic.
They help the farmers.
They're currently still delivering at the moment.
So if you guys are interested
in getting some delicious fruits and vegetables,
there's gonna be a link below this video.
But I wanna show you guys what we ordered
and it's all like delicious greens
and fresh fruit and stuff.
So we're super, super happy.
It's a really cool company
and they really care about the farmers
that they're supporting in doing this
and giving back to them as much as possible.
Super happy to be partnering up with them.
And like I said, they've very kindly sent us these items
for us to have over the next few days.
And we're gonna continue to order from them
in the weeks going forward.
So let me show you what's in the mystery bag.
We did get some comments after the grocery shopping video
saying, Lucy, you didn't wash anything
when you put it away.
I filmed the clip and then I disinfected everything
and put it in the fridge in case any of you are wondering.
And of course I washed my hands and stuff.
So thank you for your concerns,
but we're keeping nice and clean here.
He also said that his brother's put in a surprise for us
and I think that's what's in here.
Yeah, let's have a look.
I'm gonna wash it as I go
so that then I can put it in the fridge
as soon as I finish filming.
Okay, hands washed.
Let's have a look.
Yo, look at this.
Insane.
This is kale and spinach.
I'm gonna pop this straight in here
and give it a little rinse.
Like I said, they don't use plastic
so everything in here is just loose.
You don't need plastic on vegetables.
Everything you buy in the supermarket is full of plastic
so this is definitely really, really good.
Kale and spinach all washed.
Got some leeks just here.
Some eggplant or aubergine as we say in England.
Some green apples and lemons.
Some cherry tomatoes just in here.
These smell so nice.
They really smell like proper homegrown tomatoes.
Got a nice big broccoli.
A ginormous cabbage that's the size of my head.
Tonne of green beans just here.
Got some carrots.
That actually looks amazing.
There's so much more.
So colourful.
I know.
Wow, we've got loads.
Some little sweet corn just here
and in here we've got some peppers just now.
Can make some nice sauce with this
and the cherry tomatoes and some onion.
This is so surprising, everything in here.
I forget what I've ordered.
We've got some big tomatoes just here.
Wow, these are sweet potatoes
but they're so much bigger than the ones
I could find in the supermarket.
Then some new potatoes.
Can you use the old ones first, please?
Ha ha.
If you didn't hear that,
George said, can you use the old ones first, please?
Nice burst of wisdom from George there.
Some red onions and last but no means least,
some white onions.
Here we are.
Here's everything.
So much stuff.
This is going to last us at least a week
until the next order.
All super fresh.
Ding.
It's a yes from me.
Wow.
That's nice.
I was like, oh, I'll just use like one tea towel.
Yeah.
And then I kept washing it and having to get all our,
this is all the tea towels we own now
to cater for this much.
Look how fresh that is.
So nice.
And then in here is the extra thing.
They added a surprise for us or something, right?
I guess.
Toblerone.
Is it actually?
I was joking.
Oh my God.
Yes.
So they watch the vlogs.
Kit Kat.
And three packets of M&M's.
Thank you guys.
Thank you so much.
Slightly controversial fruit and veggies,
but there we go.
Balance, that's a balanced diet.
I was about to say, literally before that,
I was about to say another tip for the quarantine,
for staying feeling good is to try and eat
as healthily as you can and stay as active
and fit and healthy as you can.
But of course, balance it off with some Toblerone,
of course.
Can Toblerone sponsor us, please?
We keep talking about you in the vlog.
Yes.
Guys, I have a problem.
You've got lots of problems, George.
I have a problem.
What one is it?
Despite, it's not the toothpaste on my hat.
Or the paint on my shorts.
Or the paint on your shorts.
I watched Iron Man.
Whoa.
I watched Iron Man,
because we're watching all the Marvel movies.
And now I want an Audi R8.
How do I?
I have no idea when I'm next gonna own my own car.
At which stage of my life, I might own my own car again.
But when I do, I'm 99% sure it won't be an Audi R8.
Anyway, I started looking online on,
there's a UK car selling app thing called Autotrader.
And I found one.
Why are you even looking?
Well, just in case, you know.
Just in case.
44,000 pounds.
Which is actually good.
That's a 2013 model.
It's nice.
That's good.
It's nice.
Guys, it is a few hours later.
Which means, sadly, time to drink the last of this.
Actually, I mean, I have a bottle left.
I have a glass.
Gonna pour a glass of wine.
Still finding new angles to film in in this place.
Haven't filmed at this angle before.
We're gonna have this.
And then let me tell you,
let me update you on how our Marvel marathon is going.
You've done that already?
Woo-hoo!
This is the problem.
This is why I started a separate channel.
I'm ridiculously excited to eat some Toblerone.
So the next movie.
We're having chocolate every day at the moment.
No, we're not having chocolate every day.
What are you on about?
I had it today, yesterday, and day four.
Health.
Just gonna pour a little glass of wine here.
It's been a long day.
A long day of doing nothing.
Is that an ant?
There's loads of flies in here, by the way.
Is there?
Need to put some apple cider vinegar down again.
Need to clean these a little bit.
Oh, it's on the bottom.
Okay, it's on the bottom.
Doesn't matter.
So yeah, we're loving watching the Marvel movies.
Didn't realize how much I loved the first Iron Man film.
Hadn't watched it.
Oh.
Hadn't watched it for a while.
Here you go.
Thank you.
Cheers.
Hang on.
Just doing something.
Okay.
Drink on my own.
Hey, wait.
I can't wait.
You can wait.
Have some self-control, man.
Cheers.
No self-control.
Eye contact.
I really want a car channel.
You don't have a car.
That is true.
You're right.
I've just found this channel called,
when I was searching for R8 videos,
called Jack Ultramotive.
Only watched like two of his videos so far.
1.3 million subscribers.
And he just goes around driving cool cars.
Lamborghini.
Audi R8.
Just making up a smoothie.
Spinach, blueberries, banana.
Bit of almond milk.
Some ice.
And some water.
Now I'm gonna put some chia seeds in as well.
Loads of antioxidants and in the blueberries and spinach.
So this is a very healthy smoothie,
but I think it's gonna taste good as well
because there's loads of tasty things in it.
So I've just told,
I've just broke the news to George
that we're going down to one meat per day
and because we've frozen chicken and beef,
but if we eat two meats a day, it will last three days.
If we can make it last, it'll be six days of meat.
And I've just told him what's for dinner.
It was a good reaction.
And look at the face he pulls.
No, it was a good reaction.
Do the face, do the fake smile.
I smiled.
What is that?
Lucy said we have vegetable wraps.
And I said,
I'm joking, I'm grateful for any food that you make me.
And I'm grateful for any meal.
Except for the fact that you're not that grateful.
No, all your meals are delicious, so thank you.
Okay, well if you don't like it.
I'm thinking of starting a car YouTube channel.
If you don't like it,
then you know where you can shove it.
Where the sun isn't shining.
Where the sun don't shine.
I don't know what you're going to shove up there,
but a vegetable wrap, what do you think?
A leek.
Great.
Are you still recording?
Yeah.
Guys, I think we've lost the pots.
That's right, I'm planning my car channel.
Without a car.
Getting some inspiration.
Without a car.
We're going to buy an Audi R8, guys.
Are you joking?
What?
Are you joking?
I got the day wrong.
No, not that.
The fact that you thought it was that.
What?
George looks at me and I'm chopping away,
like spending ages chopping these vegetables up really small
and he looks at me and goes,
I know what this is.
This is an April Fool's.
He went, oh no, the day's wrong.
So he thought I'm laughing because he got the day wrong.
Do you think making a delicious dinner for you
is an April Fool's because it hasn't got meat in?
You think that qualifies as a prank?
Giving you delicious food?
No.
Are you for real?
No, Williams.
You're like, I know what's happening.
I thought I'd sussed it out.
Sussed what out?
And I'm like, what vegetable do you want
on the side of your vegetable wraps?
He's like, chicken.
It was when you said that, I thought, okay,
something at play here, something going on here.
Nope, just me cooking your dinner again.
Okay, good news, I've ordered the Audi.
Oh my God.
Okay, so George's horrible dinner is almost ready.
Oh, it looks amazing.
This is corn, tomato, onion, garlic,
with salt and pepper, chili oil, sesame oil and olive oil
with, did I say pepper?
Like actual pepper, not just pepper and pepper.
Like a quesadilla.
And then I've also crisped up some kale here
with some garlic and salt.
So it's kind of like crunchy.
That looks good.
It tastes really good and it smells nice.
And yeah, that's it.
Bosh, thank you.
Hey, we're making up now.
Only because you've realised it's got cheese in it,
so you're excited.
Yeah, actually, that's a variable that counts.
More wine?
No, thanks.
I haven't even had my first one.
Where is it?
This is delicious.
I'm not just saying, so, so good.
Cheesy, crispy.
We're going to watch Iron Man 2.
We're going to enjoy this.
We're going to have a glass of wine.
We'll see you guys.
I'm looking forward,
if the Audi R8 missed me, as well.
