Um I am I've been like tidying up and then I have a friend coming over um today to play. Um and it's just important to have that mom bonding time just to be able to hang out with a friend and you know have somebody to relate to and talk to. Anyway, so I am about to sit down. I'm going to do some work before she gets here and um I'm just gathering up a few things, creating a little work space. I can't go in the office because then I know because then I'm too far away from the kids. So, um I will show you guys once I have everything set up. Hi. Hi, my love. Hi, my love. Everybody, the other night she came in my room and she said, "Mom, you have to tell Tyler and Adeline and Judy there's a fire in the playroom." And I was like, "Sorry, what?" She was talking about a fire ant. It was just a sugar ant, but she said fire ant. And now we've got a fight. Full-blown fight. This is real life, y'all. I'm going to show you something cool right here. You take the camera and you can show them. Got a new home. And his other home is going to get washed out today. And we got him a bigger home and and I think he likes it. And right now he's staring at his food. You can see his red fin. And he's a really cuter. Did you miss Pretzel when we were gone? When we were going where? When we went to Pennsylvania. Did you miss him? Yes. Oh, I think he's scared. You're scaring him a little. Hi. Good morning. How do you feel this morning? Did you pick up the puzzle? Let's go look. I I was missing a few pieces. You're missing a few? Are they under the couch? Let's look under the couch. Oh, I think I found them. Mhm. There we go. So, John was so sweet. He had to go into work and he knew we didn't really have any groceries. I still haven't gone grocery shopping. Um so, he got an Amazon Prime Now delivery. And I'm just looking. He picked out like snacks and stuff. He got bread so the girls can have sandwiches. Um these little snack bars, some applesauce, some Annies, ravioli and bunnies. He actually um broke our French press this morning, so he bought another one, which I don't he likes it more than I do, but I think he was he said he got it for me, which is funny. Um some bananas. What else did he a gigantic jar of peanut butter? I like these like the Adams ones that only have one gram of sugar. A lot of peanut butters have a lot more sugar than that. It has no hydrogenated oils and stuff. And some more bananas. We eat bananas like they're our job. So, thank you, babe. That was sweet of him to think of us like that and to make sure we were taken care of with snacks and food. Okay, guys. So, I am all set up at my workstation. This is temporary workstation until I get our office fixed. I don't know if you guys saw John's vlog, but our office is in pretty poor shape. It's pretty bare and it just has a lot of gear on the floor and all over the place. So, um, we just have to figure out exactly what we want to do in there to make it functional for both of us. I think keeping our desk for him and then maybe getting like a writing desk because I like to write things down. I'm one of those people who likes to like sit and have pen and paper. It helps me remember things. It helps me just to feel more organized and productive. Um, and it's so easy to get distracted on a computer. Like I have my computer right here. It's so easy to be reading an email and go to check something online and then get lost in like Facebook land or something. That's on the agenda. But really, I'm just excited. Um I don't know. I've not felt this excited about something for a while. So, obviously, I talked about like postpartum anxiety and depression and going through that a little bit just briefly with you guys, but I think a big part of that comes into feeling like my life is literally the same day in day out. you know, we vlog it and you guys really see that it's a lot of the same stuff. We don't record a lot of the kids like meltdown moments or whatever. Just the tough parts because a I don't want to embarrass them by putting that on the internet and b um I don't I really who wants to watch like somebody else's kid sorry that's again who wants to watch somebody's kid have a meltdown um or listen to like 15 minutes of screaming and fighting and bickering. Nobody. Not even me. So, I can imagine you don't want to, but it does happen. Just in case you're wondering, it does happen um all the time. And so, I think it felt me leaving like kind of empty and just like what's my purpose? Um not really excited about life because it's the same thing every day and John so busy working so much. And um I've been using Young Living for like 3 years and I've never really pursued it as a business even though it I I have so many friends and family that have joined under me that I haven't had to pay for my oils for probably 2 and 1/2 years. So like right from the bat just seeing how well they worked and sharing them I had enough people like covering all of that but I never thought to take it further I guess. Um, and then after I had Everly, my friend reached out to me and so yeah, it just kind of it sparked something. Um, especially seeing like the income disclosure, it's pretty crazy how much money you can actually make with this company. And it's so wide open. Like so many people still don't know what oils are. And not just that, they just release like chemical free makeup line, chemical free baby line, like all these safe safe products. So you can ditch all the old chemical ones and all the toxins in your home, all the things you're putting on your skin every day or like that are around your kids and replace them. Um, so like there's so many people interested in that. So I think the potential is really there and so that got me excited and I shared it with John and for the first time. So for the first time like he's been like, "Yeah, let's do it. Okay, let's make it happen." And so that's exciting for me because um I always kind of gauge when we have an idea or like we're trying to make a decision. Whenever John and I are on the same page, that's where I feel like God is. Like that's where it seems like, you know, like I feel like when it when it's something that one of us is not okay with and it causes disagreement and fighting, like how that's not good for our marriage. Obviously, like it doesn't feel like a going forward in that way is something that God desires for us and our marriage and our family. But it's like there's things where all of a sudden we've compromised and we're both like, "Yeah, like we agree." And are in agreement. I feel like those are the things that we find a lot of blessing in and that end up feeling like this is this is it. This is right. So, we're finally like there and he's feeling that way and I am and we're just super excited. So, I've been not sleeping which is why I'm so tired looking. Um because I've been just excited all night and then some of my friends are helping and we're just like creating this business basically this team and I'm really just I don't know. It feels so good to have something to be excited about. So, if you are a newly postpartum mom and you're feeling down, like find something that gets you excited. Find something that like fuels you and makes you want to get to the morning every day. Like, like the past two nights I've been like, "Ah, can it just be morning? I really want to start working on this. I want to start thinking about I want to start we've come out with like different designs and ideas and um it's just fun and it's just so I don't know. It's just so rewarding and I feel like happy. I feel like there's a purpose. I have a purpose in raising my children. I don't doubt that at all. But through Young Living, I can get the financial freedom that John and I can vlog for fun and make really creative videos like he wants to do. We can take care of our family. Um, you know, we could take care of our parents. We could take care of a lot of things. We could not have to worry about anything basically. And so to me that that freedom that would come with pursuing this is like it is part of the purpose and it is taking care of my family and it is caring for my children. Um and also like I said my emotional health and just my mental well-being feeling so excited about something and so looking forward to each new day is great for them too. So I'm excited. I guess we never really talked about I don't even know what his channel we haven't. But I wanted to It's going to be more just about the video side of what I do. The creative side. The creative side. Ah please please please please pray for us because I feel like it's such a huge decision decision and commitment. It's a private school so it's expensive. Um, and so just be in prayer that we make the right choice and that God will, you know, provide either way. Um, it makes me nervous to send her to public school, but also, I don't know, we just need to do what's best. And I feel like it's so hard to know. Hindsight is 2020, but going into it, I feel like I can only see out of one eye. Which way do I go? You know what I'm saying? So pray for us. And um, yeah. Okay. We love I don't have much else to say. I have a lot to say, but it's all about stuff that I don't want to flood you guys with. I told you the excitement is like bubbling over where I'm like, okay, I just like I'm just I'm so fired up and so excited and so ready for the freedom that I know this is going to bring. And so, I just want to talk about all the time. And I'm not going to do that to you guys. I will only talk about to those of you who are interested in it.
