♫ I still remember, who we are, who we are
♫ As we stare into the sun
♫ I can't believe we've come so far
♫ But there we are
♫ I still remember, who we are, who we are
♫ Now these days have come and gone
♫ We've given everything we've got
♫ But there we are
♫ I still remember
Okay, so you guys remember John and I went to the Lush store the other day for the first time
and I could not help but to pick up some bath bombs for the girls.
They've never done them before, I've never done it either,
but I just knew when I saw the demo of one that they would love it.
So we also got a bubble bar so I'm excited to see how that works
because they love bubble baths.
Lush Cosmetics, they are very conscious about their ingredients and where they're sourced from
and what they include and all the dyes and everything like that.
So I do feel comfortable actually giving our girls a bath with these.
Most colorful bath things and bath toys like that have these artificial dyes in it
that I'm not okay with going into our girls' skin and them bathing in it.
But the Lush ones I do feel comfortable with.
So I'm really excited that we finally found something that they can use
and I can't wait to see their reaction to it.
So we're going to show you guys.
John's just getting them into their bathing suits now
and then we are going to have a little fun with bath time.
Is she so excited?
Okay, so here's the Experimenter bath bomb.
This is what's going in the bathroom
and this is, I don't remember the name of it, but it's got like black currant.
It smells really good.
This is the bubble bar and so I'm going to break some off of this
and get some bubbles in the tub before the girls get in.
Look at that.
Okay, here we go.
This is going to make bubbles.
Look at them in the pink water.
Okay.
Alright, here we go.
Here comes our Experimenter bath bomb from Lush.
Don't touch it.
Move your legs.
Ready?
Don't touch it.
One, two.
Just watch.
Just watch what happens.
Don't touch it.
What do you think?
What does it keep doing?
Does it smell good?
What do you guys think?
What's your water?
Yeah, put it in the water.
What do you think, Daddy?
What do you think?
Want to see?
You guys mixed it all up.
Now look, our bath water.
Look, do you see the glitter?
Do you see it?
It's sparkly.
Look at the water.
What do you think?
It's amazing.
Did you love it?
Is that a good birthday present?
No, I'm not putting mine in.
That's for me, kiddo.
So that was pretty cool.
They loved it.
And look, Everly, I'm sorry you're too small.
You're too small still.
I got my big girl.
So this is how we do bedtime here.
Usually when they're taking a bath, I'll get Adeline out first.
It's really dark in her room.
And when I get Addie out, she will go to bed pretty easily still.
Versus the other kids take a little more coaxing to them.
So Addie comes out.
She gets her diaper on.
We get her jammies on.
And then she goes to bed.
Are you ready for bed?
Yeah?
You ready to go to night?
Here.
Let me put this here.
Okay.
We forgot one important part of her bedtime.
And that is her pacifier.
She still loves it.
Especially to go to sleep.
And we have this whole cup full of pacifier.
Are you picking a bunch?
You got one?
How many do you need?
Two?
Put this down.
Right there.
Oh, three?
I don't think so.
You can add two.
Just in case she drops one.
Okay, ready?
You ready to go to night?
Addie.
Our sweet little bed.
Lay down.
Which we're about to move her into a big girl bed soon.
I just have to baby proof her room.
And her cuddle and kind doll.
I will link them below.
You guys, these dolls, when you buy one, they provide a meal to ten children in need of food.
They're so cute.
These are hand crocheted.
So they also provide jobs because people make them by hand.
And it's called cuddle and kind.
There you go.
Say goodnight everyone.
Goodnight.
So I hit this switch.
And that is connected to a white noise machine over there.
I make sure that her blinds are closed.
Goodnight.
I love you.
Goodnight.
I'll see you in the morning.
And that is it for Adeline.
So she should be down for the night.
So the next child I will tackle, it depends on who's the most tired.
So if it's Tyler, a lot of times I'll get either Tyler or Elena out first.
And I will let them settle down into bed while I'm getting Jude out.
And then by the time I get the other Tyler or Elena, whichever one I didn't get, the first one will be settled down and mellowed out.
And so usually that's easier.
Sometimes if they're really tired, I'll get Tyler out first or Elena or whatever.
And they'll be asleep by the time I bring the sister in.
So I am just making sure the room is ready.
So a lot of times if John's watching them in the bathtub, I will come in.
I will get their pull-ups out for the night and their pajamas out.
And I'll lay everything out so that when they get out of the tub, they can come right in and get dressed right away for bed.
There is Tyler's cuddle and kind doll.
She has a mermaid too.
Elena has this cute bunny in a little sweater and a skirt.
So now we got Tyler out.
John is in with the other girls.
Your room is kind of a mess, kid.
Love you.
Look at me.
What are you doing?
Okay.
Are you going to go to bed to sleep?
Thank you.
Say goodnight to everyone.
Goodnight.
Now John has Jude out, so it's time for Jude to go to bed.
Okay, so John got Elena in her jammies and he's getting Jude in her pajamas right now while I'm filling up Jude's diffuser.
I'm just going to put some lavender oil in it to help her sleep.
Lavender.
And cedarwood.
Top one.
I also use vetiver with a roller bottle to put right on her feet.
That one helps especially for Jude.
Sometimes some of the other calming oils don't work on her, but that one does.
Judy, look at you.
You're ready.
I'm going to get your vitamins.
If you get in your bed.
Your diffuser.
You want it to change colors?
Look, there we go.
Okay, get in your bed and I'll bring you your drink and your vitamins.
Sound good?
Is there water in it?
Alright, I'll fill it up and I'll get your vitamins, but you got to get in your bed.
I'm not coming back until you're in bed.
You got it?
Love you.
I love you.
Give me a kiss.
Say goodnight to everyone.
Goodnight.
So Jude is probably the hardest one to get to sleep, which is why I just said goodnight
now with her.
And then once I get everyone else down, I will give her her vitamins and stuff and hopefully
she will be in bed.
Okay, so now I got to go with these two because it does take a few attempts to get them to
actually understand.
Bedtime is bedtime.
Elena's all ready for bed.
Thank you.
Okay, Elena, I'm going to give you a kiss and I'm going to say goodnight, okay?
Can you say goodnight to everyone?
Alright, lay your head down.
Can I have a kiss?
Okay, goodnight.
Haha, you're not.
You're sweet.
Alright, your bunny's over there.
Your kinky's over there.
Goodnight.
Don't bother each other.
Tyler.
Goodnight.
Alright.
Anyways, so they brushed their teeth before bedtime.
Usually that would happen too.
So they've all got their teeth brushed, their jammies on.
A lot of times we stop and say prayers with them, but tonight they are going right to
bed and we will just pray for them separately so that they can sleep.
And now this one wants to eat, so part of bedtime routine is to feed her and clean up
our room because I don't even know what happened today.
Downstairs is a mess, up here is a mess.
It's been a long day.
So that is kind of like a mini bedtime routine and yeah, I hope you enjoyed watching how
we get our kids in the bed.
It's really a divide and conquer technique here.
I'm going to go suck your feet, Everly.
Goodnight.
Love you guys.
