I didn't even know one of our friends from our neighborhood told me that.
Happy Mother's Day!
I'm gonna get one for everyone.
For everyone?
Yeah.
Me?
Did you watch scary movies with Soty?
No.
What's up everybody?
Me and my little buddy Judy are taking a walk together today.
The other girls are at school.
Adelyn's in her crib taking a nap.
And Mommy and the baby are upstairs.
So I decided that me and Judy could spend some time together because we don't get to
do that very often just by ourselves.
Right?
Right Judy?
Right.
Go across.
Go on.
We have to cross through the road.
Okay.
Whenever we see a car coming, we have to run.
You do?
Uh huh.
So I told her last night, she went right to bed, that we would come out today, once
the girls went to school, and pick flowers together and...
Bye Mommy!
Dogs like to poop in the potty.
Who likes to poop in the potty?
Who does?
Dogs like to poop in the potty.
Dogs?
Yes.
That's funny.
Have you ever seen a doggy poop in the potty?
Yeah.
Me and Judy found some angry ants.
Right Judy?
Right.
Careful, don't get too close or they'll bite your feet.
These are some angry ants.
We made them angry.
Make them angry.
We stumped them and made them angry.
Yeah, we stumped them and made them angry.
Yeah.
There's like tons of ant hills around here and they're full of fire ants.
So it's not good for the kids.
Uh oh.
I'm going to poop this.
It's okay, you can get another one.
This one's for Adrian.
This one's for Kyle.
This one's for Elena.
What about for Everly?
Did you get Everly one?
I got Adrian one.
Aw, you're sweet.
I got Adrian one.
That's great.
Is that enough?
Yes.
Are you ready to go back home?
Yeah.
Or do you want to get some more flowers?
I'm going to get some more flowers for everyone.
What?
I'm going to walk and see Elena.
You ready to go back now?
No.
We have to go to the park first and we'll come back.
Oh goodness.
What plan am I going to the park today?
So I dropped the kids off at school.
There was a daddy, donut, mom's muffins, whatever thing today.
So I stopped and did that and I had to make my rounds to all the kids' classes
because Danielle is not able to get out just yet.
But while I'm out, Mother's Day is coming up on Sunday.
I didn't even know.
One of our friends from our neighborhood told me that day and I was like,
I have nothing planned for her.
It's been so busy around the house that I don't know what I'm going to do.
So one thing I can do right now, and Danielle's been asking for,
she got this Ulta makeup that she really liked.
And so the kids destroyed it after she'd had it for a little while.
So I am deciding to go to Ulta right now and pick her up this makeup
while she's at home.
She doesn't know.
I'll probably give it to her today just because it's an early Mother's Day gift.
No idea where to look in here for this.
I should ask somebody.
There's no need for all this makeup.
Like I said, too bad because there's a lot of people in here.
They don't even know about that.
Oh, and they have a salon here too.
I didn't even know that.
That's cool.
I found it.
It's right here.
I knew I could do it.
This is it right here.
This is what she wanted.
All right, let's get out of here.
Heading home.
We'll go see Danielle, and then I'll also show you this super hilarious,
cute little questionnaire that Elena made for us at school.
They were supposed to give it to us, or they did give it to us today
at the Mom's Muffins, Dad's for Donuts, whatever it's called.
And I want Danielle to see it, so I'm going to show her when we get to the house
and let you guys hear the answers that Elena had.
They're hilarious.
So Elena made this for us.
It's a questionnaire about me and you.
Look, it's cute.
So this is my daddy.
My dad's name is John Murray.
He's 28 years old.
He later came to me and told me to change it to 30.
That's right.
I'm surprised she knew how old I was.
I'm not.
Her memory is wicked.
He is as big as a bear.
He has black hair and brown eyes.
Aw, his favorite food is piggies.
He likes to eat a lot of animals.
So side note on that, I went to Tyler's class, and I showed that to Tyler.
I said, Tyler, I'm going to read you these questions
and see if you can answer the same as Elena.
I said, what's daddy's favorite food?
And she said, piggies?
Yeah, that's what she answered.
Chinese foods are very weird.
I know, they don't know anything.
His favorite color is white.
He likes to go to SeaWorld.
For fun, he likes to go potty.
They see you do that all the time.
Not see you, but you go in the bathroom all the time.
You're like, he's been in there a while.
He must really like it.
My favorite thing to do with my dad is to kiss him and toot on him.
I love my dad because he gives me band-aids when I get boo-boos,
and he sleeps with me, and he is so warm.
I am wearing, she does say that.
You're so warm, you're so warm.
That's cute.
This one's about me.
My mom's name is Mommy.
So you're John Murray, and I'm Mommy.
She's 28 years old.
That's right, right?
Yeah, that's funny.
Mom and I like to take a nap with daddy.
And Miss Kathy said,
I know how healthy those kids are made,
but do you take naps all the time or something?
Mom likes to say, I love you, Helena.
I'm glad that that's something that she,
that means I say it enough.
Good.
She really loves me and daddy.
Not her sisters, apparently.
She likes to eat the same thing we eat,
but not animals.
She likes to drink coffee.
My mom's job is to clean up with me.
That's very true.
If she had time, she would like to go to the store with me at bedtime.
My mom is really good at roasting marshmallows.
When have we ever done that?
I don't think we've ever done that.
Surely we've done that.
I don't know if we've ever done that.
That's so funny.
If I could go anywhere in the world with her,
we'd go to the dog hospital with Francis
to fix the back of his tail.
What?
Shania, read all yours.
If I could go anywhere in the world with her,
we'd go to the dog hospital with Francis
to fix the back of his tail.
High hopes.
She's just trying to be realistic.
I think she might mean to fix his red rocket
because it's disgusting.
Maybe.
Is that it?
I'm just cracking up.
Is she talking about neutering him?
I don't know.
If I could go anywhere in the world with my mom,
I would go to get the dog neutered.
I love my mom because she lets me watch scary movies with her.
Oh no.
I wish I had read that.
I would have cleared that up.
I absolutely do not let her watch scary movies.
I don't even like scary movies.
She lets me watch scary movies with her.
What do they think of us?
I know.
We sleep and watch scary movies.
That's funny.
If I could go anywhere with you to the vet
to fix the back of my nose.
I told you it was funny.
It's so funny at this age,
the way their minds work.
It's cute.
Anyways, now on to the main event.
I got you something.
Okay.
It's an early Mother's Day gift.
Look, look at this.
She has so much hair.
Baby has so much hair.
It's crazy.
You can tell I don't feel good.
I'm delirious.
I'm like crying.
Like delirious Danielle.
I don't really know what it is.
Okay, you can open your eyes now.
You said don't look at the bag.
Well, you can look at that side
because you won't know what it is.
Aww.
Thanks, baby.
She replaced my makeup.
It broke.
Yep.
Happy Mother's Day.
Hopefully, I'll get you something else.
But if not,
here's your Mother's Day gift.
I got you a new brush too.
How did you know that?
I was going to get your brush set
but it was like 60 bucks.
How did you know this was it?
What gift?
Because I remember seeing it
and I remember it said live, laugh, love
or whatever.
So I googled that.
Ulta live, laugh, love
and I pulled that up
and it said it was in stock
and so I went and got it.
See?
It's all about using the old noggin.
All about using the old noggin.
Yeah, I really like this stuff.
And it's called
don't judge me,
I know I'm not 30 yet
but anti-aging matte bronzer.
And so it really does fill in
like fine lines and pores and stuff
and makes it look
I don't know, like airbrushed almost.
Like it just makes your skin
it's got coverage in it.
Maybe that's why.
Drops of light technology.
I don't know, but I like it a lot.
They sent it to me.
It's like a gift
in a gift box that I got
and then it broke.
So thank you, I'm so happy.
Yep.
Thanks babe.
No problem, you're welcome.
I know you liked it,
that's one reason I got it.
I do.
Alright guys,
we just made Danielle
a yummy breakfast for Mother's Day.
Happy Mother's Day
to all you moms out there.
So what we're gonna do
is we're gonna take her upstairs now
and we're gonna give her some cards
and the girls made her some cards.
And I get to hold the plate!
Yeah, Tyler's gonna hold the plate.
Tyler, you hear her, right?
You're okay, you're okay.
So the girls made them some cards
and they're being a little whiny
and grumpy this morning,
but so be it.
Alright, let's go.
Breakfast for me and Mommy.
Two eggs, at least she likes them.
And some toast and a banana.
Alright, go, go, go.
Happy Mother's Day!
Thank you.
Mommy, I made something for you.
Oh, not for sure.
Maybe.
A pig and snail.
I made the eyes light.
Light peach, light peach.
I love it.
Happy Mother's Day!
Oh, there's a baby right there.
I need to take this shirt off, it's wet.
Happy Mother's Day.
Hi, thank you.
Judy, where's the card?
Judy, bring the card!
Tyler, in there.
She's gonna open it for me
because she doesn't want me to rip it, do I?
Oh, good.
Where's the card?
Oh, so close.
I didn't see that.
Good job, Addy.
I see you and her having a picnic.
Look at our hair, it's so pretty.
Look at our hair.
Oh, yeah, you made that yesterday.
That was beautiful.
You were really good at cutting stuff out.
I cried.
Oh, yeah, she could cut it out.
Good job, bud.
Mommy loves it.
There's no money in it.
There's nothing good for you.
What's inside is worth more than money.
The writing.
You're the best.
It came out like this, and I was like,
why are the words upside down?
Mom, I love you, you're the best.
Love, Tyler.
I said booby bras.
Yeah, she wrote booby bras.
Tyler told us that it'd be funny.
What does that say?
Mother's Day.
Happy Mother's Day.
Mother's Day.
Look at that, everybody.
Happy Mother's Day.
What does it say right here?
Something about her song or something?
No, it says, I love your beautiful song.
You want to get up there?
Tyler, what are you doing for Mommy for Mother's Day?
Rubbing Mommy's feet.
I asked her, what can I do for you?
And she said, I can put lotion on her feet.
Does it smell good?
Yeah.
Oh, yeah, it smells real good.
Young Living Sandalwood Moisturizing Cream.
You can't see it, but here it is.
Moisturizing cream.
Should we do Mommy or baby first?
So, Audrey's here, and we're about to do a one-week postpartum checkup on me and little Everly.
She's just waiting her turn.
I gave Everly Joy a little kiss.
A little kiss? That was sweet of you.
Okay, so, Mom's all right.
Baby next.
So, when you have your baby at home, it's really convenient that all the weight checks are at your house.
Yes, to avoid the sick people.
And avoid going in public, yep.
Pediatrician.
Yep, and we do have a doctor that will come to your house if necessary.
Her name is Dr. Ramsdale.
I've heard her name before.
Yes, she's really supportive of keeping them home so they don't have to go out when you're newborn, you know.
Hey, yeah, she looks really good.
This is about to come off.
Not today, but in a few days.
Going up in the swing. I like it.
Does she like it a lot?
There she goes.
Oh, wow.
Yeah, she's back up to her birth weight already.
Nice.
She's almost 9 pounds.
Oh my gosh, that's amazing.
Isn't that great?
What was she, 8? 10?
She was born at 8, 12.
8, 12.
And then went down a little bit.
Went down to 8, 2.
And now she's back up to like 8, 14 and a half.
Like 8, almost 9 pounds.
That's good.
Hey, pretty, pretty.
What's she going to do now?
Just measure her head and her length.
We did this when she was born.
We just want to see if we were right that day.
Yeah.
And she's so quiet and alert, like she's feeling good and she's organized.
Mommy, mommy.
Is she a good baby?
No, she's fine.
Is she sleeping well for you?
Yes, she sleeps better than I do.
Baby, I washed my hands.
When did you wash them?
Oh, um, before I came back.
From where?
Uh, washing my hands.
No, when did you wash your hands?
Um.
Like today or yesterday?
Today.
Like before you came in here?
No.
Maybe it's because she cooked a little longer.
She just seems organized.
That's what they call it.
She was looking at her hand the other day.
It's like, oh, we're going to be doing that so soon.
Yeah, she's pretty coordinated.
She can get her hands up to her mouth and turn towards a voice if she wants.
Yeah, and she recognizes different voices.
Oh, no.
Uh-huh.
She has lots of sisters to entertain her.
It's a little bit of anxiety being in charge of little people, isn't it?
Aw, this little new baby got the hiccups.
Hold her tight. Make her feel safe.
She's got the hiccups.
That's sweet.
You got strawberry on your face.
So, you'll have to push her toes down for me.
Whoa, that's how you do it?
Oh, that's cool.
Aw, that is so neat.
That's cute.
I'll try to do the other one.
Oh, that was so fun.
Okay, that really is neat.
That is cool. I've never seen that before.
Cool.
That's good. You pushed that one down good.
Yeah.
So, you can do it again.
You can experiment with it and try to get her big toe a little darker and erase that smudge.
That is so cool.
You guys, so Everleigh's appointment went really well.
She is already back up to her birth weight, so that is fantastic.
And I'm doing well.
So, yeah, they'll be back in a week just to check on her to make sure she's still growing and gaining weight.
But I don't think that'll be an issue.
Not for this baby.
Right?
Oh, a little spit.
Tell everybody you're a great eater.
And she's super awake and alert.
Just looking around, taking everything in.
Anyway, so, yeah, it's been a low-key day for me.
I'm recovering from a stomach flu, and so I've just not been feeling really great today.
So, I've kind of laid in bed and taken it easy.
Things are going well, but I'm hoping tomorrow's even better.
I really want to go downstairs and get out of this room and just start feeling good again.
You know, so we can get out of the house, even.
Taking the girls to do stuff or just spending more time with my other kids.
Like, I miss them.
And it's hard being up here and being sick because I don't want them to come around me, and I don't want them to get sick.
But, yeah, I do really miss them.
So, with that, I am going to go.
John's going to pick us up some food, and then we are going to watch a little TV and just relax together.
The three of us, the other kids are already in bed.
So, we love you guys.
Make sure you're subscribed.
And we will see you in the next vlog.
Good night!
