Americans got a taste of socialism and they didn't like it.

You would have to wait in line for 2
hours,
but when you got up to see what it was
that you were waiting on, it was like a
soggy bread and tomato lettuce sandwich.
It took a complete turn from the first
day where you walk around and there's
food everywhere and there's ice cream
machines and there's pizza. Thank you.
Suddenly, people were very much like in
survival mode. Everyone's out for
themselves. They're in line to get food.
They're going to get as much food as
they can.
All the people are getting them back. It
is not fun. The hoarding on board was
ridiculous. People just grabbing
everything and sort of taking it like
with them to the little little camps.
made me think that, huh, now all these
Americans are somehow can feel what it
was in dictatorship country where
like this happens and it doesn't
surprise anyone. Yeah. Welcome to the
Soviet Union, people. This is not wrong.
I mean, food lengths, hoarding, people
grabbing whatever they could just to
survive. That sounds like home. What
happened on that cruise looked a lot
like a daily life in a socialist
country. Think about it. It took an
engine fire and a total system failure
to replicate the chaos socialism
produces every single day. And because
it was a private company, Carnival had
to compensate the passengers. In
socialism, there is no company to blame.
No refund, no apology, just misery.
