GENDER REVEAL, BABY NAMES, HOME BIRTH! | 27 WEEK PREGNANCY UPDATE

I still remember who we are who we are as we still into the sun leave the so far where we are I still remember who we are who we are now these days have coming gone we give it everything we got no matter where we are I still remember well I wish I could say that it's been an eventful day um but thus far it hasn't really me and Judy and Adeline have been hanging out and I am I don't really know what I've been unmotivated I've honestly just kind of been like doing nothing and I'm enjoying it but it's time to get my button gear I need some serious motivation to finish decluttering her house I'm trying to redo adn's room she's just recently moved into her own bedroom so I want to redo it and make it just look and feel a little more like a room for her yeah and we are about to go pick up Tyler and Elena from school we're going to be late so I'm going to hurry up and go and then I'm going to update you guys my pregnancy when I get back so um I don't know where you guys are but if you're in North Carolina then you know it is like 70° actually let me see if my car will tell me 68° outside it is a beautiful day um and as I was driving home we dropped we drove by our neighborhood park and I did said let's do that so we dropped off Victoria and head it back down so the girls are getting unbuckled right Tyler you unbuckling everyone and we are going to go play on the playground well Jude's wearing a dress but it should be interesting did you do that yep go ahead right up to the gate show Judy how to get there I'm hot hot I'm hot Mommy you're hot yeah all right head up to the gate I'm going to get Allan out well what about you missy you don't have any shoes on either all right hold on what do you think about the playground what do you think you like the playground you like the camera no that's scary I was going to do that whoa go Ela go Ela go Ela you're a cool girl go Ela I'm going to be cool you hey you're both cool all where's uhoh all right hold on sit down in the mulch buddy hold on I'm coming I'm coming sced you're scared all right stand up to hold on to the rail hold on to the top yeah right here and hold on on this side there now you [Music] step one step at a time go careful you did it all right grab you did it woo be careful I just kind of stuck you down in the dirt that's the best thing though huh the mulch do you like The Mulch of course you do you're a baby what baby doesn't like it it's in your toes [Music] I've done this before you've done it before let's see grab this wow so brave uhoh we got a stuck kid put your hand on this put your hand on this reach up to the next handle there you go yes I do this it's all right it's all right hold on Elena wait for Judy all right Judy scared Judy scared come on you can do it [Music] everybody get my shoes down and and she even got Le on her bottom of her diaper oh you got leaves on your diaper yeah I got them off her mom my trick is even cooler than I I got scared because I going to fall watch good job so the kids had a blast um playing at the park but they are all tired and a little bit grumpy um Tyler needs a map so we are going to head home and they are going to go to their rooms and take Adeline you ready to get in your seat and go home okay so I am hanging out um in adeline's room Nursery was Jude's room this room has been used so much it is kind of funny to think that when we just two years ago well I guess wow almost 3 years ago um before we bought this house we were living in a two-bedroom Town Home Tyler in a shared room and then we found out we were expecting Jude and we like we were going to have to move and we actually lived there for a month she was a month old when we moved here Jude was judee's in this crib right now um Tyler is sleeping in the room that Jude sleeps in now she passed out on the floor in there and Elena is in her room taking a nap so Jude is hanging out with me in the crib um she's watching an iPad right now uh while I am cleaning up this room a little bit I am trying to move adeline's things in here here go through all our baby stuffff um in the process of minimizing minimalizing I have like tons of baby blankets and things so even if it's a girl I still feel like we probably have too many things like blankets and even maybe some little like momy even some little like diaper covers or socks and things just little stuff like that so um I'm just trying to go through what we have and figure out okay we don't need these we can get rid of these um we're going to need more of this or this whatever it is we've had three well one fall and two winter babies so Jude was a spring baby um but there's a good chance you know we'll need some spring clothes even if it's a girl if it's a boy I guess we'll need a lot of stuff cuz a lot of our stuff is pink and girly anyway so that's what I'm doing in this room um but I want to give you guys a pregnancy update because it's been a while okay so I wanted to give you guys a pregnancy update it's been a while um honestly I have not even vlogged just normal vlogging I've kind of crawled under a rock I've had a lot of friends to apologize to because people are texting me or sending me messages and I just am not responding and I don't know why it's not sometimes it's like me to get busy but it's like I'll see the message I'm like okay I'm going to respond to that you know I'm just going to wait a few minutes cuz I'm doing this or whatever it is and I just and then it rolls around I'm like I feel like doing nothing so I've pretty much been on autopilot brain off whatever but I wanted to be intentional and sit down with you guys our next Midwife appointment is the 27th um and so it's coming up soon it was scheduled 3 weeks instead of four weeks and we are doing the glucose test at that one so that's really exciting um it's not so bad I don't actually drink the little glucola drink so what we'll do is eat a big protein filed breakfast in the morning and then um go in and they will have me eat something with 50 grams of sugar so so they say like jelly beans they have or um I could bring in tea or chocolate or you know anything as long as it equals 50 gr of sugar and then I eat that very quickly girl on her iPad and then um they'll draw my blood and test so for me with all of my pregnancies my levels have been well within the threshold for gestational diabetes um not being an issue my body handles sugar really well I know that because I eat it and um yeah it's going to be fine here's a k hi you got a carrot can you sit down um so the number one question everybody's been wanting to know is about the envelope and the gender and um what's going on with that so we are planning on a gend reveal in February no we still do not know um John does not know where the envelope is and I have pretty good will power so we are holding out planning um to do some sort of party or reveal in February and so that's the plan for the gender I know I know it's a lot it's a long way for you guys um but yeah that's just everything's been so crazy since the holidays and then John's been really busy with work and so we're just taking our time with it so I been feeling this baby move a ton it's really wild to me because with um Tyler and Elena and Jude I could never you know it just felt like kicking kicking whatever I couldn't feel anything specific if that makes sense um with adelyn I could tell that she was breached for a while because all the kicks were just really low um and I didn't really feel anything high and so with this baby I can feel everything like I can tell when the baby's laying sideways or laying or breach or like flipped on I can it's so wild how much I'm able to distinguish um and just how I guess in tune I am with everything and like all the feelings it's pretty neat so the baby's not head down sometimes head down sometimes flipped around sometimes sideways um I guess there's still a lot of room in there so he or she is spinning all over the place and swimming like a little fish and I can definitely feel that today I had some feet up in my ribs and so that was pretty uncomfortable um but again there's still so much room that I'm able to just kind of like push down and feel the baby flip and it's so cool that's probably my favorite part of pregnancy is being able to just feel you know the girls have all seen my belly move and they think that's so neat and then um Tyler and Elena actually I think Jude has too I think they've all been able to feel the kick so that has been really exciting for them are you excited about the new baby yeah no she not go to school now she's not going to school now not today nope she goes tomorrow I go tomorrow that's we're talking about the baby in mommy's tummy did you feel the baby moving I feel it yeah can you feel when the baby kicks yes yeah it kicked me it kicked her she said he kicked me so they're all really excited about their baby brother or sister Tyler thinks it's a boy Elena thinks it's a girl Jude I don't think she thinks either [Music] way know I know and Tyler I know this time is going to be so helpful she's already so hands on with Adeline she'll get her out of her crib um she tries to carry her down the stairs it's terrifying but yeah I'm excited to see just as they're getting older to see them you know with each child that comes into the family they've all gotten a little bit more more excited and more interested and involved and so I think that's really special um we are still planning on a home birth obviously and I am so excited that's what I've been just cleaning and decluttering I want to get a safe you know a place set up um in our like probably our bedroom maybe our closet I'm not sure we have a big bath but I don't think it's going to be deep enough to do to get in the water if I want to so I think we will have them bring a birthing pool and then um yeah I'm it's just I'm excited I don't know I've never done this before so I have a lot to do and plan for if you've had a home birth leave me some of your advice or tips or things I know I want to put up cards all around um with different scripture and different words of encouragement that I can read during labor um yeah anyway it's going to be really really I'm just excited anyway so other than that you know I'm not too much is new it feels like the weeks are flying by my goodness I am what 20 I'm 27 weeks now so next week is um going to be the end of the second trimester that is so hard to believe we are going to be heading into the third trimester the last home stretch of this pregnancy and all of our kids have come early um let's see Tyler was 9 days Elena was 12 days Jude was 19 days early and then Adeline was 4 days early and um so yeah it'll be really interesting in to see when this little one decides to arrive and I will say with Jude her due date was actually April 14th my due date now is April 17th but Jude was born in March um so we'll see what happens I don't know watch me go overdue or something crazy like that anyway you guys if you have any questions um or if there's anything you've been wanting to know specifically about you know my pregnancy thus far or anything like that leave a comment below now names we are discussing names it's so hard I if you didn't see our Facebook live video the other day we have a whole list of names that John likes that we won't be using they are crazy and Tyler has come up with a few names that we are adding to that I can't even remember what they were they were terrible though they weren't even they weren't even names they were just words one of them she says snowball snowball was a girl name I said maybe we can name a cat that um I'm allergic to cat so we probably won't ever have a cat named snowball but you never but maybe hamster so um names are something we haven't really decided or even narrowed down I we've been so busy we haven't had time to sit down so I think in the next few weeks we are planning to do some of the old wives tales um before we do the gender reveal we want to go through those and just see what they say this baby is we want to do um you know give you guys a list of our names that we like we thought about doing a if we hit 500,000 subscribers by the time the baby's born we'll let you name our baby obviously it would be like a list of three boy name three girl names and then let people vote for their favorite do you think that's a good idea is that crazy of course they all be names that we like um I don't know I'm so particular about names just because I think they're so important and that meaning is so important but if they were three names that we loved or two names even do you guys think that would be fun would you like to do that I don't it seems crazy okay anyway so we're talking about that or some sort of name reveal once we decide on that and then um yeah obviously the gender reveal so we've got a lot of things that we're planning on sharing with you guys it's just a matter of a timeline but anyway so I hope you guys have enjoyed this um just touching base with you and updating you on everything so far I've had no crazy symptoms nothing nothing outrageous so everything's good I'm feeling good but I am ready to be done cleaning spring cleaning we to do our crotch I don't you saw that the other day so wish me luck with that pray for me guys pray for energy and motivation I've been super lazy lately and I really just need to light a fire under myself and get some stuff done so I'm going to go do that now I'm actually going to finish up in this room and clear out these clothes I don't know I'll show you guys around it we got like blankets and all kinds of baby stuff up there I moved adin's TP I got bins of clothes another bin in that closet it doesn't look like that much but it's a lot in each basket um cuz you know baby clothes are so small so I got a lot to go through and I really want to get it done sooner than later so I can focus on other things like what we're going to name our baby and planning a genda reveal party and all those fun things so okay so here it is um I've just tidied up we still need to paint this room there are some other things I want to get um the heart on the wall is hanging crooked cuz I don't have another little nail for it plus we need some other decorations honestly I think we're going to have to do a little overhaul of this whole room so that's something I'd love to get done so maybe we'll make a video out of it so I moved the crib over there and moved her dresser to this wall cleaned it off cuz it had just stuff on top I brought her little teee up I'd like to get a rug like a fun rug and then this is a box I moved all of the um 18mon into Tutt clothes into so those are all for ADN when she gets a little bigger they're too small for Jude now and she's got a little bench this sign we've had since Tyler was a baby it's always been in her nursery and then the closet is not done but those two white things are all baby clothes too small for Adeline um and then yeah right yeah definitely and then that's all adeline's current clothes which I need to hang up and go through I just didn't have time and then we have all the BL and all that stuff so I haven't actually gone through those things yet but I've gotten it all organized and into sections so it should be a lot easier to do but I exhausted myself by taking them to the park and moving the furniture around so I am I just finished feeding the girls dinner and I'm getting ready to put them all in bed and adeline's enjoying some time in her tent do you love your tee you love my phone more huh John was just on the phone he's bringing me dinner so anyway I'm going to go so I can get them in bed um that way I can have dinner with John when he gets here and yeah we will get this video edited and uploaded for you guys we love you so much and we will talk to you later um what is
